00:12The exciting question is, how much Mitsubishi is actually in this Renault offshoot?
00:18The new Grandis is based on the Renault symbiotes and is part of the cooperation between Mitsubishi and Renault.
00:24The result is an SUV that is particularly intended to appeal to families and people with a high need for space.
00:32However, it is not more than a compact car, but rather has a modern SUV look.
00:38With a length of 4.4 meters, a width of 1.8 meters and a height of 1.6 meters,
00:44as well as a wheelbase of around 2.7 meters,
00:46the Grandis has a format that should appeal to both families and users of classic compact cars.
00:54Particular attention is paid to the trunk, which can be accessed via an electric flap depending on the equipment.
01:01In the mild hybrid, between around 580 and around 700 L can be stowed away thanks to the sliding rear seat.
01:08The full hybrid offers around 500 to 630 L.
01:13Folding down the rear seats creates a loading area of up to 1.7 meters in length, ideal for bulky luggage.

02:28The full hybrid uses a 1.4-kilowatt-hour battery that is charged via recuperation.
02:37The combustion engine is a 1.8-liter four-cylinder with 109 horsepower,
02:42supported by an electric motor with 49 horsepower and a starter generator with a further 20 horsepower.
02:48The system output is 155 horsepower.
02:53Electric driving is possible for up to around 70 kilometers.
02:56The fuel consumption has not yet been officially quantified,
02:59but the sister model Symbiotes achieves around 4.5 liters per 100 kilometers.
03:05The Grandes is built in Spain, together with the Renault Symbiotes.
03:10Production is scheduled to start in the fourth quarter of 2025.
03:15Deliveries will begin in early 2026.
03:17Mitsubishi offers a five-year new vehicle warranty of up to 100,000 kilometers,
03:22with an extension to 8 years or 160,000 kilometers with regular maintenance.
03:29The Grandes will be offered in four equipment lines,
03:32Diamond, Diamond Plus, Diamond and the Special Model Intro Edition.
03:39Details are not yet fully known, but highlights such as 19-inch rims in a high-gloss look
03:44and a Harman Kardon sound system with 410 watts are likely to be standard in the higher-end versions.
03:51In terms of price, the Grandes is based on the Renault Symbiotes.
03:55The entry-level model with the mild hybrid petrol engine is likely to cost around 26,200 euros.
04:01The full hybrid with better equipment will cost around 30,300 euros.
