00:00Hello and welcome back to another exciting episode. Today we're going to unbox something small but mighty.
00:08This is the Neewer, or Neewer, I've always pronounced it Neewer, quick release plate that works with the Arcus Swiss
00:20as well as the Peak Design Capture Version 3 camera clip.
00:27And I do have a Peak Design camera clip that I am going to be testing this out on, because I do have a job coming up,
00:38or I should say a shoot coming up, that I'm going to need this. So, let's see what's in the box and what they send you.
00:48Ooh, I got another Allen wrench. Got tons of those, but you can always use another one, I guess.
00:54We got, ooh, there's the camera mount plate.
01:05Wait a minute. Oh, it came with two. Awesome, that's even better yet. Even a better deal.
01:11Now, the reason why I got the Neewer is, at the time that I needed these,
01:21the Peak Design Company was not making their plates.
01:27And it said that they had no idea when they were going to get these plates back into production,
01:34at least the Peak Design version.
01:35So, I figured, I'm going to try these.
01:39And, they were pretty much the right price.
01:42Ha ha ha.
01:46And test them out.
01:48Okay.
01:51Ooh, that's neat.
01:52It does have
01:53the screw-in at the bottom
01:57that you don't need any tools.
01:59I like that.
02:02It does have a
02:03little mini instruction manual.
02:09Which
02:09is in
02:10multiple different languages.
02:13Pretty cool.
02:15But, essentially, pretty much says
02:17screw this into the bottom
02:19and then
02:21put it on your
02:23quick release pads.
02:24Alright.
02:26Let's test this out.
02:28Okay.
02:29Here I have my
02:30Action 4.
02:32And
02:33I have
02:34a quick release plate.
02:37That's only for Argus.
02:39And you can kind of see how the bottom
02:40has these little extra
02:44kind of detents in them.
02:46That is for the Peak Design.
02:49But we're going to take out the
02:50old
02:51Argus plate.
02:54put on the
02:58Peak Design
03:01plate.
03:07Attach the Action 4
03:09to that plate
03:13through the
03:16GoPro adapter
03:18that I just put the plate on.
03:20And then
03:22let's see
03:24if this thing
03:25clips
03:26right into
03:29the
03:30Peak Design
03:31clip.
03:33Now here I have the
03:34Spica bag
03:35that I converted
03:36into
03:37my Camera
03:38Go bag.
03:40And here's my
03:41Peak Design
03:42clip.
03:43Now it should
03:46Let's go right in there.
03:53Oops.
03:57And it does.
03:59It clips right in there.
04:00And it's pretty sturdy.
04:04And then
04:05should be able to do
04:06the release mechanism.

04:09See if it does it sideways.

04:15So this is the first one

04:19does both.
04:21I like it.

04:28Because a lot of the
04:29other
04:30ones that say
04:31Peak Design
04:32and
04:33Quick Release
04:34you know Arcus
04:36Swiss
04:36you have to turn it
04:38one way for
04:38Peak Design
04:40and another way for
04:41Arcus Swiss
04:42but not this one.
04:43I like this one
04:44much better.
