00:08good morning and welcome to another sea day this is our last day full day on the ship
00:21and then tomorrow morning we will be back on land in Port Canaveral
00:39look at that for those of you who are wondering how we got to that information on the ship all
00:48you do
00:48take your remote go down to live TV and then over and down to navigation click OK and there's our
01:14information right now we are traveling at 20 knots and 65 percent humidity and we're traveling along
01:27the coast of Cuba the current air temperature at this time is 75 degrees Fahrenheit and of course
01:41one of the things you want to do the day before you leave port is the pack and they give
01:50you these
01:51little tags to put on that have numbers on it like for instance 24 and you put on your name
02:02address city
02:03all that kind of stuff and the numbers that correspond you get this little paper your daily
02:14planner or daily paper and it says
02:18tag number 23 24 25 which we are 24
02:22tag number 24 we disembark at 8 55 now you can chill out in different locations but it does say
02:34here
02:35that once your luggage is ready at the terminal a departure notification will be sent via your celebrity
02:43cruises app and announcements will be main will be made excuse me to proceed to the gangway located on
02:52deck five please note that you must have your sea pass and your passport in hand today being a sea
03:01day
03:02we can do pretty much anything we want including going to the sun deck or the pool one of the
03:11pools
03:12whatever we want what we decided to do was just go back to the eden section of the ship and
03:20just kind
03:21of chill out sit on the little swingy chairs look out over the ocean and we did see another ship
03:29out there
03:31and just get ready for a little theater event that they were going to put on but like a behind
03:38the scenes
03:38sort of thing possibly go to the martini bar and then go to lunch and afterwards there's a couple surprises
03:50that we have one was really interesting that's something i was really expecting to do so stay tuned for that
03:59going into the theater we saw behind the scenes which is a behind the scenes type of presentation
04:07i thought it was a tour to be honest with you i misread it but man did they do a
04:14really good
04:14job with this presentation there's so many people here in the theater this morning so first of all
04:19and thank you for coming along if you don't know me yet where have you been my name is aaron
04:24i'm your
04:25cruiser at the um for this ship and this is one of my favorite things to do on board it's
04:29my life at
04:30sea presentation every time someone asks me something i've never heard i try and put it into
04:35the presentation so hopefully we'll cover everything that you want to know if not don't worry at the
04:40very end i will open it up to questions if you've got any questions for me about what it's like
04:44living
04:45on board a cruise ship i'll be more than happy to answer so i was on a tv show for
04:50waterloo road
04:51grange hill and later had a small role in a tv show called peaky blinders if any of you know
04:56that yes
04:57i was a gangster so let's talk about getting hired how do we find our crew on board we've got
05:03over
05:031 300 crew members we then fly you out to your ship celebrity pay for your accommodation the night
05:11before joining the ship we'll pay for the air transfer we'll pay for the flight we'll even pay
05:16for meals in the hotel so everything is covered in enjoy it but that can't happen if you're on in
05:22port
05:22manning now this is the most hated thing on board in port manning is around by the the maritime
05:29uh more basically which means whilst we're in port 35 of the ship's company has to be on board okay
05:37i'm sad when i say it out loud actually but that's that is actually how we play pool on board
05:42and
05:43there's our very own little convenience store located in at the crew bar we can get snacks candy instant
05:49ramen noodles uh any toiletries toothpaste mouthwash uh washer deodorant normal things that we need to live
05:56our everyday life so any essentials we need there is a little cruise shop uh that we can get that
06:01there's also a crew barber on board which is wonderful uh this barber right now is one of
06:06our security guards in the daytime of the nighttime i made no naughty jokes doing this presentation
06:12it's my boss ladies and gentlemen how are you good morning good morning everybody we learned a lot
06:20about behind the scenes stuff from that presentation and if you ever have an opportunity to see it
06:25i highly suggest you do if you have time now afterwards we decided to meet up with our friend
06:31sue from the villages skip smith youtube channel as well as a mutual friend of ours judy at the martini
06:41bar we didn't actually partake on anything but we did kind of catch up on happenings what we were
06:48doing on the ship that kind of thing but afterwards we kind of went over to get lunch since our
06:55tummies
06:56were growling a little bit and it was about that time boy were we impressed with what they had there
07:03now again the quality wasn't quite up to what we would consider for a premium ship however they had lots
07:12of it and the presentation they had was fantastic just take a look at all this stuff
07:19so

08:02Afterwards, to burn off those food calories, we decided to take a walk around the top deck, kind of check
08:09out the pool and the hot dubs.
08:11Now, we never actually had time to go into the pool or the hot dubs during this trip because our
08:20main focus was the excursions and exploring the different places we were at.
08:26However, it was kind of neat to see what they had on the ship and how other people were taking
08:32use of it.
08:33And then we got an invitation to go to a show, sort of a behind the scenes kind of thing,
08:43for a fellow team of content creators called The Village's Newcomers.
08:48Jerry and Linda.
08:49He's always been good to us, so I'm glad that you can come.
08:53He's under the weather, so we're all going to say, get well, Skip.
08:56Get well, Skip.
08:58How about that?
09:00We just came to see how it was done.
09:02I kind of wanted to see what they did compared to what I did, and really, it was exactly the
09:11same.
09:11So, that was kind of neat to see that.
09:14I also had a chance to do a quick interview, which I was not prepared for because I really didn't
09:21think I was going to have any time for it.
09:22So, I didn't have my audio equipment prepared.
09:26However, this is a little bit of what I could get with the equipment I brought along with me at
09:32the time.
09:33All right.
09:33Now, going around the ship, I came across another YouTuber.
09:36Now, this is Jerry and Linda from Adventures of Jerry and Linda.
09:39Yes.
09:40Now, when I first watched you many years ago, you were called The Village's Newcomers.
09:44Is that correct?
09:44We still do.
09:45Oh, you still do?
09:46Okay.
09:46Fantastic.
09:47And, earlier, you did a shout-out for Skip and Sue, and that's actually the first interview I've ever seen
09:53you guys do.
09:54So, since then, how has things progressed for you guys?
09:58Oh, I think it's good.
10:00I mean, we live the normal Village's lifestyle, but we always have our ears and eyes open for content to
10:08present to our viewers.
10:11So, it is great to see that The Village is big enough to have a lot of people there, to
10:16have a lot of content creators, and to give out more information, close, you know, good and bad.
10:22So, I thank you guys for doing that as well.

11:22Sadly, it was time to leave the event, so we went downstairs to eat one last time at the Cosmopolitan

11:33where we once again had wonderful service, which is really the only thing we had to complain about as far
11:44as the ship side of things.
11:46And we really enjoyed Sue and Judy's company.
11:53Luanne and I then went to the theater to see Crystallize, which is a show that they say is a
12:01multi-century spectacular like you've never experienced before.
12:06And they were right.
12:09So, here we go into the theater.
12:12And, obviously, I can't show you a whole lot of what's on here because of copyright.
12:18However, I'll kind of show little bits and pieces, and hopefully that won't get the copyright gods mad at us
12:26too much.
12:27And then maybe that'll give you enough of a sense to show exactly what this show was and the talent
