00:00One man is dead following a shooting incident at the Valpak Shopping Plaza on Wednesday night.
00:07The deceased has been identified as Miguel Lawrence, a 36-year-old man of Hollywood Road, Fanny Village, Point Fortin.
00:15TV6 was told around 10.50 p.m. the victim left a popular nightclub on the northern side of the compound in the company of his girlfriend.
00:22The two walked over to Minibar. Lawrence reportedly sent the woman to purchase a bottle of tequila and remained in the northern area of the car park near his vehicle.
00:32Several loud explosions were then heard. The victim fell to the ground.
00:37Suspects were seen running into a nearby vehicle which then sped out of the compound.
00:42The police and paramedics were notified. However, Lawrence died on the scene.
00:47Officers from the Homicide Bureau as well as the Northern Division led by Sergeant Galera responded.
00:52The area was cordoned off and several spent shells were recovered.
00:56When TV6 arrived at the scene, persons who were said to be relatives of the deceased had gathered.
01:01At least three other establishments on the compound were still operational and loud music could be heard from these venues.
01:08Persons were also seen sitting down having drinks while watching investigators contain the crime scene.
01:16Police are investigating the killing of a 25-year-old man in Toku.
01:20The deceased has been identified as Ronaldo Marshall of Cemetery Street, Matlott.
01:25His body was discovered along Paria Branch Road in Toku on October 29.
01:30Officers reported around 7.30 a.m. they received a call regarding a body in a weed field in the Paria area.
01:37Special Investigation Unit officers were dispatched and located the body of a male of African descent with a raster hairstyle, medium build and dark brown complexion.
01:47The deceased appeared to have sustained gunshot wounds to both legs, the neck and upper chest.
01:53Homicide officers canvassed the area for witnesses and CCTV footage and retrieved four 12-gauge spent cartridges and eight 5.56 spent shell casings.

02:14Small, also known as Rocky, was from Demerara Heights, Wallerfield.
02:18Around 7.50 p.m., officers responded to reports of two loud explosions heard near Antigua Road in Wallerfield.
02:24Upon arriving at Barbuda Road, they found a park near Nist Santida with the rear left door open.
02:32Inside the vehicle, they found Small's body slumped in the driver's seat with gunshot injuries.
