00:12With the new ID.UniX 06, Volkswagen is launching a facelifted model through its Anhu partnership
00:18that has been significantly modernized with a focus on intelligent technology,
00:22entertainment systems, and more customization. The ID.UniX 06 comes in four trim levels,
00:29Pure, Pro, Ultra, and Max. The official list prices range from around 26,000 euros to around 35,000
00:37euros. However, for the market launch, Volkswagen Anhui is offering significantly reduced entry-level
00:44prices for a short time. The Pure version starts at around 20,000 euros, followed by the Pro at around
00:5023,000 euros, the Ultra at around 26,000 euros, and the Max at around 29,000 euros. Additional
00:58discounts are available when purchased during the Shanghai Motor Show or during the MyFire days.
01:04A discount of around 500 euros is available for the Pure variant and around 750 euros for the higher
01:10trim levels. Financial incentives complete the offering. These include financing options such
01:16as five years interest-free or seven years with no down payment. Attractive trade-in incentives,
01:23an extended warranty package, five years of free vehicle online service, and 50,000 bonus points.
01:30The so-called brand light enjoyment package rounds out the offer. Visually, the ID.UniX
01:36only 6 clearly distinguishes itself from classic Volkswagen models. The closed front grille combined
01:43with a sporty lower bumper including air ducts for aerodynamic optimization underscores its electric
01:49character. A new exterior color, twilight blue, is added. At the rear, the integrated design is
01:56striking, with the spoiler, taillights, and third brake light merging into one another. The three-dimensional
02:03taillights emphasize the futuristic lines. Inside, Volkswagen focuses on a more premium ambience.
02:11Gold accents on the dashboard, steering wheel, and air vents, especially in combination with the
02:16optional white interior, create a modern look. Technologically, the ID.UniX Note 6 features
02:23the new ID's 5.4 infotainment system. This includes in-car gaming, social metaverse functions,
02:31an integrated scent system, and a mode editor. A total of 31 operating functions have been revised,
02:38including the 3D avatar system, the user interface, voice control with a large language model,
02:44and the 1P remote control. The smart assistant can now also generate images and recognizes vehicles
02:51and knowledge content more precisely. In terms of safety, the revised rear cross-traffic alert now
02:57offers better detection of two wheels, thus reducing the risk of accidents. This is complemented by a new
03:05pre-crash system, which uses sensors to detect potential collisions early and prepares the vehicle.
03:10The base engine of the Pure variant is powered by a lithium-iron phosphate battery with a capacity of
03:1753.6 kWh, which, according to the CLTC standard, is sufficient for a range of 426 km.
03:26The vehicle features a balanced weight distribution of 50% between the front and rear axles.
03:32Other features include sporty mixed compound tires, a 5-link rear axle, the adaptive DCC suspension,
03:40and 5 selectable driving modes. The ID Unix is the first and so far only model from the Volkswagen
03:46Ennui joint venture with local manufacturer Jack Motors, also known as the Golden Badge VW because of
03:52its golden brand logo. The first generation of the ID Unix sold only slowly and caused significant
04:00losses for Jack Motors in 2024. The new pricing strategy of the ID Unix 6 therefore clearly
04:07demonstrates an attempt to significantly increase sales and establish the model in the market.
