Volkswagen bringt mit dem VW ID. EVERY1 ein günstiges Elektroauto auf den Markt! Der Stromer soll 2027 erscheinen und mit einem Startpreis von etwa 20.000 Euro eine echte Alternative für all jene sein, die sich ein erschwingliches E-Auto wünschen. Doch wie schlägt sich der ID. EVERY1 im Vergleich zur Konkurrenz? Schließlich kommen schon 2026 Elektro-Kleinwagen von Renault und Dacia.

Das Konzeptfahrzeug ist 3,9 Meter lang, 1,8 Meter breit und 1,5 Meter hoch und positioniert sich zwischen dem VW Up und Polo. Der Innenraum ist modern und funktional, mit einem zentralen Touchdisplay, nachhaltigen Materialien und einer clever verschiebbaren Mittelkonsole. Das Design erinnert an den Golf I, Up und Polo – mit einer markanten C-Säule und dem sogenannten „Flying Roof Concept“, das für eine besondere Dachform sorgt.

00:06With the study that has just been presented, Volkswagen has provided an exciting insight into the upcoming electric car for the mass market.

00:14The vehicle is set to hit the market in 2027 and will have a starting price of around €20,000.

00:22With this, VW wants to offer an affordable electric car that is aimed at a broad range of buyers.

00:30The idea of an electric entry-level model is not new, but it has long been a political issue within the group.

00:38For example, Works Council Chairwoman Daniela Cavallo called for an electric car for €20,000,

00:44but at the same time rejected a collaboration with Renault or Daya,

00:48who in turn want to launch electric compact cars starting at the same price in 2026.

00:53The competition is not sleeping.

00:55With the Hyundai Insta starting at around €24,000, the Citroen IC3 starting at €23,300,

01:04as well as the Leadmotor Tino 3 and the Fiat Grande Panda,

01:08there are already alternatives in the segment of affordable electric compact cars.

01:13Nevertheless, the ID.Every could benefit from Volkswagen's reputation and popularity.

01:17The concept vehicle is 3.9 meters long and thus positions itself between the earlier VW polo and the current polo.

01:28With a width of 1.8 meters and a height of 1.5 meters,

01:32it is significantly flatter than some competitors, such as the Hyundai Insta.

01:36The designers at VW have given the vehicle 19-inch wheels and a distinctive C-pillar, a typical feature of the brand.

01:49The straight window line is intended to be reminiscent of the first Golf,

01:53while the rear view with a relatively flat rear window and black surround pays homage to the polo and the first Golf GTI.

01:58Interestingly, the hatch is slightly reminiscent of the Polo 10U8.

02:07The front design with overglazed headlights and a hint of a radiator grille also picks up on design elements of the polo coiface.

02:16An interesting detail is the so-called flying roof concept.

02:20Here, the roof is slightly lowered in the middle, but without restricting the headroom in the interior.

02:25Even though the concept vehicle is still a study, one thing is already clear, it's already claddy.

02:31The ID everyone's will be a five-door model.

02:35Inside, Volkswagen is relying on the new modular electric drive system in the ebb with front-wheel drive,

03:25The multifunction steering wheel of the EV winds is flattened at the top and bottom and has two spokes.

03:31The square shape of the keypads can also be found in other places in the vehicle.

03:40For example, in the controls for the exterior mirrors or in a small illuminated and removable Bluetooth speaker,

03:46which is positioned between the driver and front passenger seat.

03:49Another clever design feature is the center console.

03:57It not only serves as a classic armrest for the driver and front passenger,

04:01but is also mounted on a rail and can be moved all the way to the rear.

04:04This allows it to be used flexibly by all occupants.

04:10The center console also contains storage compartments that can be moved forwards and backwards and used for various purposes.

04:17A similar solution has only been available in the VWID bus, a significantly larger model from the brand.
