00:00Soaking rain is in progress across the Ohio Valley beginning to nose into the far interior northeast.
00:06But we will be concerned about coastal flooding, beach erosion.
00:09The dunes are not in great shape in many areas right now and some other hazards for the coast.
00:14But the rain will come down pretty heavily.
00:16Some will see an inch or more with the ponding rainfall.
00:20And overall that can lead to some minor street flooding there, especially this time of the year.
00:25With the storm drains and a lot of leaves that can clog them up.
00:28It will get windy out there and we will even see a little hint of snow on the back side of this storm above 2,500 feet.
00:34It's chilly up there. Bangor, Maine only 45 degrees.
00:38We are at 57 to the south into Washington, D.C. right now.
00:41But the wind, it's pretty active.
00:44The center of circulation of the storm east of Memphis right now.
00:47The winds are going to be picking up here into more of the northeast eventually.
00:50But right now top gust is still way out west into St. Louis at 38 miles per hour.
00:56Soaking rain moves across the northeast on Thursday.
01:00So we're concerned about flooding downpours, reduced visibility.
01:03Early on, the steadiest rain will be in the interior.
01:06Late in the day, we could see a gusty shower or even maybe a thunderstorm near I-95.
