00:00Let's go to the northeast now where strong winds brought down a large tree branch.
00:03It's a huge branch.
00:04That's like a tree in itself there.
00:06Near Pittsburgh this past Friday, video shows the moment that that big branch crashed to the ground.
00:12And overall, we're going to be continuing to track more storms.
00:16Some of these produce gusts up to 70 miles per hour.
00:18Storms on Saturday produced two tornadoes in Washington and Westmoreland counties of western Pennsylvania as well.
00:24Now, let's take a look at the northeast.
00:26A little quieter for a moment.
00:28It will turn hotter, more humid, and stormier for many into the next few days.
00:34Right now, though, the storms have been popping isolated in parts of eastern Ohio.
00:37A couple of little downpours near maybe Parkersburg, West Virginia.
00:42But Tuesday, most of the storms still will be to the west.
00:45And gradually, these are going to be rolling east in greater numbers into the middle of the week.
00:51So showers and thunderstorms push east into more and more of West Virginia, western Pennsylvania.
00:57That's on Tuesday afternoon.
00:59Most of the I-95 sits it out until Wednesday evening.
01:02Wednesday, more showers and storms in the interior.
01:04After 4 or 5 p.m., they'll make a push all the way to the beaches.
01:08And then on Thursday, a new round of strong and severe storms.
01:11Some of them will be a little more aggressive on Thursday.
01:13So we have some severe weather concerns then.
01:16Wednesday, though, showers and storms initially in the interior.
01:19Wednesday evening, they'll reach the coast.
01:21A new episode crosses the northeast on Thursday.
01:24And some of them will be fueled by near-record heat.
01:27We're looking at a record-breaking high, most likely, in Richmond, Virginia.
01:30We'll probably tie a record for the date in Wilmington, Delaware.
01:33We'll probably rake a record high in Philadelphia, PA, there.
01:36Breaking the record from 1986 on the same calendar day.
01:4095 is the record.
01:41We're going 96 this Thursday.
01:42Strong and severe storms for I-95.
01:45Intense rainfall and damaging straight-line winds.
01:47Friday, we got it again in a similar area.
01:50Damaging winds, the main concern, along with some hail then.
