The cyclonic circulation continues to form over the southeast Bay of Bengal. The Meteorological Department has said that the cyclonic circulation is likely to move west-northwestwards and strengthen further during the next 12 hours. It is likely to intensify into a cyclonic circulation by Sunday (October 26) and is likely to intensify into a cyclonic circulation by Monday (October 27) and reach the southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining west-central Bay of Bengal.
ఆగ్నేయ బంగాళాఖాతంలో వాయుగుండం కొనసాగుతోంది. వచ్చే 12 గంటల్లో ఈ వాయుగుండం పశ్చిమ వాయువ్య దిశలో కదిలి మరింత బలపడే అవకాశం ఉందని వాతావరణ కేంద్రం వెల్లడించింది. ఇవాళ ఆదివారం(అక్టోబర్ 26) తీవ్రవాయుగుండంగా మారనుందని.. సోమవారం(అక్టబోర్ 27) తుఫాన్ గా రూపాంతరం చెంది నైరుతి బంగాళాఖాతం, దాని సమీపంలోని పశ్చిమ మధ్య బంగాళాఖాతం ప్రాంతానికి చేరుకునే అవకాశం ఉందని అధికారులు తెలిపారు.
