00:00Alabama and Texas A&M are a cut above the rest of the SEC.

00:07Bama has one loss.

00:09It is in non-conference, the Florida State, Texas A&M undefeated,

00:13both undefeated in conference, lifted or leave it.

00:15I'm going to, oh my goodness, bro, it all is predicated.

00:19I mean, I would say Alabama is because of the wins that they've had

00:22and how they look from that start.

00:23And again, it's not about how you start, it's about how you finish,

00:26and they seem to be on the right trajectory,

00:28which also goes into the fact like how chaotic is the world of college football

00:32when that guy was going to be fired after that loss to Florida State.

00:37I think they are.

00:38I think there's some, man, I don't know.

00:41This Vandy one versus Missouri will be an interesting one this week

00:44that could get them into the mix and how A&M looks.

00:47Vandy lost to Alabama.

00:52You're saying, I mean, like you gave me two teams that are a cut above.

00:55I'm saying who could be the other one,

00:56and that could be potentially Vandy, how they look.

00:58If there's someone else that you think is on par with those teams,

01:02I would say the answer would be Georgia.

01:04They've been consistent.

01:05Georgia lost to Alabama.

01:06I know they did, but still in the entirety,

01:09they are the ones that you think can go in and win officially.

01:13That's why right now it's kind of Alabama, A&M, Georgia,

01:19and then Vandy, and then there's a lot of others.

01:23I would say no because, for me, Oklahoma has one loss.

01:29Their one loss came in Red River.

01:30It was a rivalry game.

01:31Rivalry game.

01:32And they had a one-thumbed Mateer.

01:34You know, he didn't have the other opposable thumb slice.

01:36He couldn't have a thumb war with you very well.

01:39I mean, one, two, three, four.

01:41He grabbed that burrito.

01:42Yeah, he got smoked in a thumb war.

01:44So I think I'm going to put Oklahoma in that conversation.

01:47I agree with that.

01:47Their defense, as our guy Ben Scott Stevens talked about, is legendary,

01:53if not this season, if not for the fact that Ohio State was even better.

01:57They've got the quarterback.

01:59He's a veteran player.

02:00He's experienced.

02:01He checks all of the boxes that you're looking for.

02:05And so I love to see that there with him.

02:08So I'm going to say Oklahoma is in that.

02:10So I'm going to leave that because I think Oklahoma is in that mix, too,

02:14despite the fact that they have that one conference loss.

02:16Because this is why we have the committee.

02:18The committee can look at that and say they played great.

02:21Oh, they lost to Texas.

02:23Oh, by the way, your quarterback was coming off three weeks ago

02:26having his thumb cut open.

02:27Now you guys just beat South Carolina, I believe.

02:37So I'm going to say they're in that conversation, especially if they beat

02:40Ole Miss, then they're going to be in it bigly.

02:45And that's another job that could be open to South Carolina.

02:48They talked about Shane Beamer possibly being up for other jobs.

02:51Well, he may be out of his job should he not get some wins.

02:57Number three, Vanderbilt is one of the ten best teams in the country.

03:02They're currently ranked 10th in the AP poll.

03:07Here's my thing, and I'm with Ben on this.

03:11I think that Vandy is for real.

03:17I mean, it's, listen, the hush falls over the crowd.

03:20No, I'm just looking at the top ten teams.

03:25Like, there's so many that could be in that mix.

03:27They're an 11th or 12th team.

03:29Do you think BYU, do you think Notre Dame is better than Vanderbilt?

03:38I mean, because like, because like, Notre Dame are two teams that I would say are potentially

03:43better than Vanderbilt.

03:45Now, Missouri's behind them, and you could throw them in the mix.

03:48The good news is, you'll find out, they play each other.

03:53So that's, that's the best part of it is they play each other.

03:57We will find out 10 versus 15.

04:00Vandy is a slight favorite, I think, in that two and a half presently on the board at times.

04:26And then you got Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, Miami, Vandy, BYU, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, even Texas

04:31Tech, Missouri, Virginia, Tennessee.

04:32I would exclude Tennessee.

04:34So that's 16-7, Bob.

04:36Right there, just looking at it, like, there's a lot of uncertainty there.

04:40But then Notre Dame's in there at five and two.

04:42Yeah, two lost-ranked teams that are in the top ten.

04:45But they're running the, like, they run the football.

04:48They're physical.

04:49You know what I'm saying?

04:50So it's like, I totally get it.

04:53So you said lift or leave it.

04:55We've been on the same page of all of them.

04:57I am going to lift that, that they are.
