00:00We are in the program of our Agricultural Cities Union, we are in Erzurum, we are at the Agricultural Congress.
00:05Of course, as you know, after the Metropolitan Law No. 6.360, provincial borders became metropolitan borders.
00:14On this occasion, with the same law, there was a legal regulation regarding the support of metropolitan municipalities, district municipalities and all municipalities for agricultural services.
00:23Starting from this regulation, our municipalities started to provide all kinds of support related to agriculture.
00:30In this sense, all our municipalities needed and revived their agricultural departments and directorates.
00:38Support for agricultural work began under the umbrella of these directorates through agricultural services directorates or department heads.
00:48We have also revived our agricultural services directorate since the day we took office in 2019.
00:56We support agricultural activities within this directorate.
01:00We are also carrying out agricultural activities together with our Metropolitan Municipality.
01:05We carry out agricultural production in a very large area, 14 million square meters.
01:09And we support our fellow citizens who are engaged in agricultural activities with the products we produce here in order to support them.
01:20All municipalities continue these kinds of studies.
01:23But the International Association of Agricultural Cities leads and guides us in such efforts.
01:31We are a member of the Agricultural Cities Association.
01:33And this union of ours has now attracted many representatives from abroad, both nationally and internationally.
01:41In this congress, we will be working on topics such as the future of agriculture, problems encountered in agriculture, solution suggestions and many other topics for 3 days.
01:52On this occasion, our Konya and Karatay are already agricultural cities.
01:58I think these meetings are important for the future of agriculture.
