With the West Indies trailing 1-0 against a tough India side, coach Daren Sammy continues to motivate his players ahead of the second and final match, which starts Friday in Delhi.  He says it's extremely important to have self-belief regardless of the situation.

00:05who trail India 1-0 in their two-match test series.

00:09The coach is hoping to motivate his players ahead of the second and final match

00:13which starts Friday in Delhi as the regional team seeks to salvage the series.

00:19It's the continuation of, you know, the positive words.

00:23It's the continuation of us challenging the players to be more professional,

00:30to be more disciplined in their training, to have more belief in themselves.

00:40And again, when the game comes, you know, trusting the preparation that they put in to the training

00:48to be able to put it into the game.

00:52I see some of you guys lack confidence, and it's something that, you know, that has to come from within you.

01:03Well, coach Sami believe that one way his team can match strides with other teams

01:08is by working hard and smart on their preparations.

01:12And while admitting that the Caribbean is behind in resources compared to larger nations,

01:16he insists that a good work ethic, well, that goes a long way.

01:20If we complain about not having the best facilities, not having enough manpower like the other teams,

01:30not having the best technology, all these things which the other teams are superior to us,

01:38then why the hell they still are working us?

01:40The only way we could match up with or compete at a consistent level is if we as the coaches and the players

01:50are prepared to outwork the opposition.

01:53And we know that we're not doing that.

01:55So that's why our attorney challenged them.

01:57When you practice, when you train, when you strategize,

02:00to be more precise, more purposeful.
