West Indies coach Daren Sammy wants his players to have that same hunger that was on display in the opening Test, when they take on Sri Lanka in game two starting Friday in Antigua.

The Windies won the opening game, which sees them not losing the series.

But that's not enough as Sammy is hoping for a 2-0 clean sweep.
Transcript
00:00The West Indies beat Sri Lanka by innings and 217 runs inside four days in the opening test in Antigua.
00:07That gave the men in Maroon an unassailable 1-0 lead in the two-match series, plus their first win
00:13in the new WTC cycle.
00:14For coach Darren Sami, it was pleasing to see the Windies coming out on top.
00:19You know, as coaches, you want results. It's been hard, it's been tough for the Test team in this Test
00:27Championship,
00:27but the manner in which we won, you know, will give everybody confidence.
00:33It gives you, you know, that belief in the work that you put in, the plans that you've put in,
00:41the way you want to play,
00:42the players that you've asked to take on that battle for you.
00:46Having said that, Sami has utmost respect for the opposition.
00:50Even though the Sri Lankans never won a Test series in the Caribbean,
00:53they drew three, with their last series loss coming in 2003.
00:58With the second Test starting Friday, also at the Serb Vivian Richards Stadium, Sami is hoping for positive results.
01:04The first Test is history.
01:07We could take the positives into it, but we've still got to come back and put the performance into the
01:15second Test.
01:16And Sri Lanka would not be a walkover.
01:18But we've still got to remain disciplined, you know, plan properly again, and believe in the execution.
01:29So, it's good to get our first Test win, but that's not what we wanted.
01:32We wanted a series win.
01:34The new cycle has seen some positives for the batters and bowlers.
01:38The Windy's batters have scored seven individual centuries in the new cycle,
01:42while the bowlers have dismissed the opposition twice in all four Test matches played so far in the Caribbean.
01:47And this is Sami's message to his players.
01:50But remain in the moment.
01:53That's what I'll tell the guys.
01:54We prepare well, we give ourselves the best chance of performing.
01:59But once that bell rings, remain calm in the moment.
02:03You know, one ball at a time.
02:05We don't think too far ahead.
02:06Ball by ball, session by session, and we go about doing it like that.
02:11And staying hungry.
02:13Added to the squad for the second match in Antigua is Kimo Paul,
02:17who has played three Test matches so far for the Western News.
02:20Vinod Nawani, Chiefs Export.
