00:00hey guys welcome back to in the passes once again this is your host in the

00:05gamer and in today's video i'm going to be talking about another anime right

00:12and another underrated anime series yes that's another one another one i've got

00:20quite a bit in this series to come on right and in today's video i'm going to

00:25be talking about love tyrant all right otherwise known as the

00:31perverted version of death note all right this anime

00:35if you guys have seen it or heard of it and if you've

00:39you know understand from my intro to this

00:44he and if you've seen death note you can't get the gist

00:50of what this one is by the time you're watching it

00:53right it's centered around this this guy his name is seji hanio

01:00right now he's like the main character he has blue hair

01:05he at first you think he was like you know your

01:10average guy main character then you realize he's a bit more of a

01:15wimp you know which is kind of weird because

01:18the whole time i'm watching him i'm picturing

01:22bakugo from my hero academia you know like a blue haired version of bakugo

01:28and taller but he's wimpier so it's all like weird to watch

01:34um but he is the main character he meets this girl named guri who is some sort of like

01:41cupid like she one who basically gives him this sort of like

01:48kiss note which is a notebook that makes anyone who has their name written

01:53together instantly fall in love if they kiss each other regardless of

01:58the circumstances now that's basically like a parody of

02:03dead note if you have seen or read dead note

02:09however the the upside to this is that she accidentally writes down

02:15seji's name and you know unless if he doesn't

02:18kiss anyone guri will die then he eventually

02:24convinces seji to go and kiss his crush

02:27who is named akin hayama the school's popular girl who turns out to

02:34actually have feelings for him you know like obsessive psychotic

02:41stalking like feelings okay so eventually they come together

02:46and then well in a weird sense you have guri decides that she likes

02:53him as well and then you have this sort of like weird love triangle relationship

02:58out of it right now that's just the summary of

03:01this um you know how i do these videos

03:04it comes with these underweight enemies i don't really try to

03:08dive deep into the plot in case if you want to

03:12check them out for yourself and experience it you know so what i will say

03:20this it was fairly average for me in the first half you know when it was

03:28parody and death note but then it takes a turn after this

03:34halfway in and the second half it gets a lot better actually

03:38when it's actually not parody in death note so that's what i will say

03:43you know um there are other characters here in this as well

03:46and a lot of other girls you know the story seems

03:52quite simple at the same time it's a lot of

03:57building world building they can do with it in the background

04:01you get to see other characters come in and then

04:04you realize they have some pretty interesting back stories

04:07the main girl guri she's actually you know being a cupid but

04:12at the same time she's you know a child of god and then she's also

04:19a child to lady of hell mavoo who weirdly enough

04:25they have sort of like this weird thing that they do like halfway into it

04:30where you actually see the characters and then they interact with

04:34with god who they portray in a sort of like

04:38you know a weird way and then they have the devil who they portraying itself

04:42weirdly and i really like the whole concept and how they portrayed all the

04:47stuff you know it was funny but it was also

04:52clever as well because i will say there's a lot

04:56quite a lot of references to pop culture and other enemies in this

05:01there even some episodes where they copy

05:05off stuff that they're parodying like it's obvious like you won't even miss

05:10it you know if you someone who has who likes references or

05:15has watched quite a bit of american hollywood movies

05:19you're definitely going to get the um you know the jokes in here

05:24i like that aspect of it i will say towards the

05:26end of it the last few episodes it takes quite a bit you know you get it gets a lot

05:32more serious in the story you actually get that getting more

05:37interested in it when it's not trying to be a parody of deadwood

05:42i will say the first few episodes not to say that it's

05:45bad i just say that you know compared to the

05:49damn second half the second half of episodes

05:53in the um season it does feel like a drag

05:58in comparison you know it's it's like it starts off slow and then

06:03picks up and gets down in the second half and

06:08i will say if it wasn't for the second half this probably might not have made

06:13this list you know of my underrated anime segment

06:17you know it probably wouldn't it probably would have ended up being the same

06:20another average anime for me so i will do with that

06:26right now um hey guys i guess that pretty much sums up

06:30the video so far um there's not really much else i can say

06:34about this anime you know without spoiling it too much

06:40if you guys want to check it out i suggest you go and look it up

06:44it's only one season 12 episodes and then it has

06:47just uh ova whatever special to my time and you can go and check it out now i

06:54will say depending on your taste in anime you may

06:58you may not like this and there's a good chance if you can

07:02make it through the first seven episodes the first half

07:06you know the second half you know where it decides to you know

07:09drop and pick up you may or may not like it more

07:15yeah i guess that that's why i'm gonna really like leave it there right
