00:00Brings us into some of these prop bets, Joe.
00:02I love Ty Simpson.
00:03Now, facing the fact of I'm the starting quarterback, we lost at FSU,
00:06and everybody was ready to bail.
00:07Three straight good games, which includes a win down in Athens between the Hedges.
00:11Not something a lot of college football teams can do.
00:13One of the longest win streaks in the country at home was snapped last week.
00:17So, Ty Simpson coming into this ballgame, Joe.
00:19You see there.
00:20It's 293.5 on that graphic.
00:22I'm actually looking at FanDuel right now, Joe, down to 283.5.
00:26Ty Simpson's game today is what?
00:28Passing, 325 plus.
00:30Again, he just signed a deal with Gatorade before last week.
00:34An NIL deal with Gatorade.
00:36They also signed Nussmeyer prior to the game against Clemson.
00:40So, they are on to something there.
00:42They're scouting, right?
00:43He has a huge performance against Georgia.
00:45But, again, I still think they push tempo here.
00:48Why would you stop and say we want to get into a lower-scoring game?
00:52If you have a hot quarterback, a guy that hasn't thrown an interception
00:55and completing almost 70% of his passes with two big-play wide receivers
00:59in Ryan Williams and Bernard, why would you stop that?
01:03Why would you slow that momentum?
01:04So, again, Donnie, 325 plus.
01:07This has to be a breakout performance.
01:09Now, I know Milrow struggled last year with interceptions
01:12and didn't have a great performance.
01:14But, again, Ty Simpson is a better pure pocket passer.
01:18This should be one of the better performances of the day.
01:21Again, 325, 350 is not out of the realm of possibility here.
01:25Let me ask you this question about Diego Pavi.
01:27We know the guy's a pretty good quarterback on the college football landscape.
01:30And if you think there's going to be a lot of points here, let's just say 60, right?
01:32Let's say 56 and a half.
01:34That means Virginia – or, excuse me, Vanderbilt's going to have to move the football.
01:37Pavi is 206 and a half in the air.
01:39That's his number.
01:40Over one and a half touchdown passes, Joe, is plus 135.
01:45Like, are we telling you that they're going to score a lot of points for Vanderbilt?
01:48Diego Pavi's going to throw for 181 score?
01:50He's got to throw for two scores, right?
01:52It's possible.
01:53But, again, does he have – how many does he have on the ground?
01:55I think that's – here's the problem.
01:58We're talking about an Alabama defense that gave up 6.7 yards per carry against Georgia, 227 on the ground.
02:06We had Coach Bown say it's a different rushing attack.
02:09But they're still giving up $1.60 to opposing offenses.
02:12They got ripped by 230.
02:14A similar offense, Florida State runs, to what we see Vanderbilt.
02:18Mobile quarterback, they like to utilize a lot of misdirection, and they rush for 230, 240 on that front seven.
02:24We get a similar performance today.
02:27It's going to be Pavia on the ground and those running backs.
02:30Maybe he throws for one, but if he has two touchdowns on the ground and it accounts for three, that's all it takes to get the cover.
02:36Running backs here, Joe, which includes Diego Pavia on the ground.
02:3953-and-a-half for Diego Pavia.
02:41For Cedric Alexander, 41-and-a-half.
02:43Jan Miller played last week going up against a tough defense in Georgia.
02:47Maybe more running lanes today, Joe.
02:49He's up to 63-and-a-half.
02:50How are you playing some of these ground attack guys?
02:52I would take Pavia on the ground.
02:54Now, you always got to worry about sacks.
02:57But, again, that's always a problem.
02:58We know that.
02:59But, again, Pavia's game, right?
03:01He's going to break contain.
03:02If he smells the goal line, he's going to go for it.
03:05So, I like Pavia over the 53-and-a-half rushing.
03:08I would take a shot on Jan Miller just because, again, they didn't have a hint of a rushing attack last week.
03:14Only averaged 3.7 yards per carry.
03:16But if we believe that Alabama has the success that we both feel Ty Simpson will have, that will open up Jan Miller.
03:24All it takes is one run to take it to the house.
03:26So, 63-and-a-half.
03:28I would take a shot with Miller 70-plus today.
03:30Let's take a look here, and we'll focus just on singular teams here.
03:32Alabama will start with Joe.
03:33Wide receiver position, Ryan Williams, Isaiah Horton, Jeremy Bernard, and also Lutzier-Brooks.
03:3925-and-a-half, 67-and-a-half, 48-and-a-half, and 65-and-a-half, respectively.
03:42If you're going to play an Alabama wide receiver, who is that today?
03:46Bernard.
03:46Yeah, Bernard is the catalyst for that offense.
03:50Ty Simpson goes to him early and often.
03:52And I understand Ryan Williams has better ability, you could say.
03:56But he's been the most consistent for me early on.
03:59He's been a home run hitter.
04:01Anytime touchdown.
04:02He might get two in this game.
04:03So, again, if we're talking most receptions, most receiving yards, I do feel that it's Bernard over Ryan Williams in this matchup.
04:11I see your bet card right there.
04:12I think it would be awesome.
04:13Ty Simpson throws three touchdowns but doesn't score on the ground.
04:16Still three touchdowns, Joe, though, right?
04:17Does that count for you?
04:18Yeah.
04:18If he gets it for you, I still, yeah.
04:20I don't mind, but plus 155 for Simpson, I can't get the value out.
04:26Now, is that a tush push or is that I'm going to scramble it from the pen?
04:29No, I think it could be from the five-yard line.
04:31Again, I think both quarterbacks will take over the game.
04:34I do like Ty Simpson anytime touchdown.
04:37I like Pavia, though, for yards.
04:38Let's do quickly here Vanderbilt's pass catchers, Joe.
04:41You take a look at Stowers, Richardson, Cheryl, and Alexander.
04:44All lower numbers here.
04:45Stowers with 52-and-a-half.
04:46Somebody's got to catch passes because he's going to score 60 points.
04:48I like Richardson.
04:50Stowers is good, though.
04:51He's got the most receptions, 301 yards, two touchdowns.
04:55Richardson, though, for me, is another guy that has stepped up.
04:58Again, how do they utilize him?
04:59They utilize both of them, too, in terms of rush yards and reverses.
05:04So keep an eye out for that.
05:05But I would take a shot Richardson over Stowers in this bowl.
