00:00Now, most of us have seen Dante Moore play a lot of football.
00:03Really creative, you know, talented quarterback,
00:05can shoot the ball downfield, great offense.
00:08Tell me about Barnett for JMU, Joe, the expectations for him.
00:10Pocket passer, running guy, what does he bring to the table today?
00:13I mean, completion percentage is a little bit lacking, 59%.
00:18And, again, think about it, when you just think about, you know,
00:21the competition, not playing SEC caliber,
00:24not playing, obviously, Big Ten caliber opponents week in and week out.
00:28They did play well in the loss on the road in Louisville earlier in the year.
00:32Wound up covering that number.
00:34It was a 14.5-point number.
00:35He has thrown for 2,500 passing yards, 21 touchdowns, eight interceptions.
00:40But, again, you're going up against a defensive wizard in Dan Lin,
00:44and he's going to show them different looks.
00:46He's going to show them multiple looks, especially on the front blitz packages.
00:50Can the offensive line pick it up?
00:52And that will obviously affect the passing attack.
00:55But, again, James Madison, to me, still wants to run the football.
00:58If you're looking at Tulane and you're looking at James Madison in this game,
01:02they don't want to get this game into the 30s.
01:05Both of those teams will get blown out, in my opinion.
01:08You want a lower-scoring game, and that's where the rushing attack comes in.
01:11So, again, you could potentially take his passing totals today.
01:15But, again, going up against Dan Lin, his defense,
01:18and a secondary that's only allowing 144 passing yards per game
01:23against some of the best quarterbacks in the Big Ten, I would say under today.
01:27Just got an update, too.
01:28Bryant Jr. and Moore, Joe, both expected to play today, Joe.
01:31So, some good stuff there for Oregon returning to their offense.
01:33Dante Moore, Joe, is passing prop.
01:35Let's hit a 228-and-a-half.
01:36Barnett, 139-and-a-half.
01:38Yeah, I mean, Barnett, 139.
01:40Let's see, again.
01:41139-and-a-half.
01:42I haven't watched him play, obviously, enough to understand that total 139 is a little bit lower
01:46than when it controlled the game.
01:47But if you're getting your brain busted by 21 in the third quarter, come on.
01:52I mean, they're averaging 200 yards per game, right, against a group of five opponents, right?
01:57And that's in a perfect thing.
01:58They want to rush.
01:59They're averaging 245 on the ground.
02:03Again, I would still take more.
02:06I mean, it's Oregon or bust for me.
02:08I still think the over comes in.
02:10Again, it kills me to bet an under 45-and-a-half with an Oregon total.
02:15Again, the only game, basically, that they've been handcuffed was the win against Wisconsin.
02:21And, again, that's similar to what Chesney and, obviously, James Madison want to do.
02:26And we know James Madison has one of the top defenses in the tournament, 15 points per game.
02:32And rush defense is there.
02:34Solid defense.
02:35Can they win the turnover battle?
02:37Easier said than done.
02:38Let's go to touchdown Pater picks in this game because the expectations are Oregon is going to score some points today, Joe.
02:43Sadiq, minus 145.
02:44Davison, minus 145.
02:46I've done it in the past and have been successful with Oregon, Joe, taking their two lead dogs in the backfield, each to get a rushing touchdown.
02:51Or just any touchdown across the board makes some sense.
02:54But if you're looking, one, two, three, four, five.
02:57The top five guys in this game, all Oregon listed here.
03:00If you take a look at the first guy that pops up, it's Wayne Knight for JMU at a plus 210 price.
03:05Somebody's probably going to score for JMU, Joe.
03:07So the fun of JMU, who gets in the end zone?
03:09Is it him?
03:11I mean, Wayne Knight a plus 210 isn't bad value.
03:13I mean, again, how many points do you think they're going to score?
03:17I mean, again, do you think they could get you 14?
03:19I'm trying 10 in there.
03:20No.
03:20Can they get you 14?
03:22Here's the funny thing about it.
03:23I don't think JMU's settling for field goals.
03:26So it would either be, Joe, 6.5 or 13.5 for me is what I would take.
03:30I don't think that if they kick a field goal, that's a loss.
03:32Unless it's like, hey, JMU's got the lead in the fourth quarter.
03:34We've got to extend the lead.
03:35You're right to a degree.
03:36I don't think they're kicking field goals.
03:37In the first quarter, they will.
03:40Why, though?
03:41Because, again, you want to establish some sort of momentum.
03:44Here's the thing.
03:45If you have the ball first and you have a drive inside the 30, you kick a field goal,
03:50now you basically you're within margin, right?
03:52Even if Oregon scores a touchdown on the next drive, it's a one-possession game.
03:56They're going to kick field goals in the first quarter.
03:58If they're down now 14-3, 21-3, then the field goals go out the window,
04:03and that's potentially where an under comes in because Oregon could just close the door
04:08and rely on their defense.
04:10But, again, early on, they're going to look to potentially play field position
04:15and kick field goals.
04:16Ten and a half is their total.
04:18Yeah.
04:18I would say I'll take a shot and go over it.
04:23Yeah, and you're expecting two touchdowns then.
04:25That's it.
04:26It can't be 7-3-3, gets it.
04:28It has to be two touchdowns.
04:29No, I mean, for me, I mean, if you're back in the 20 and a half,
04:34you better get over the 10 and a half.
