00:00Also around the midway point, want to get some Heisman talk in with you.
00:03Look at a little bit of last week before we turn the page
00:06and look at some of the biggest games this week.
00:08We'll do all that here coming up next.
00:10We're here with our guy, Tim Murray of V-Sigma Follow-On X at 1.
00:14Tim Murray does a great job over there giving you all the news and notes you need,
00:18some of the breakdown stuff, some of the ratings.
00:21I was looking at some of your rating stuff, Tim,
00:23as things were moving around earlier this week.
00:27One of the things, though, that we were talking about some of these futures,
00:30Jeremiah Smith, still the overwhelming favorite to win the Heisman.
00:37You talked about how you took Lincoln Keenholz on a dark horse earlier this season.
00:41Honestly, he's played well, just probably not well enough.
00:44Part of the reason is his team hasn't played well enough
00:46to ultimately put him in that position to probably win it.
00:51I think Trinidad Chambliss, Chambliss sitting there, it's plus 600.
00:54You know, with a big game this weekend, could get himself back in the running.
01:00But, I mean, Ohio State's going to have two more big games here over the next three weeks
01:05with a bye in the middle.
01:06I feel like if Jeremiah Smith does a great job with Luke Fahey out there
01:10and everybody's seen all the PIs and everything,
01:12like, it seems like it might be his to lose going into November.
01:17Yeah, I mean, we talked about it a couple weeks ago,
01:20where he's the best player in the sport, right?
01:23And that's not who always wins this award.
01:25We know that to be true.
01:26And a lot of the time, it's a quarterback-driven award.
01:29And you can make a case for Trinidad Chambliss.
01:32And I'll say this.
01:33I think this weekend, and we can get into it,
01:36that line is telling you a story right now
01:38where Texas is a favorite against Ole Miss.
01:41But if you are of the belief that Ole Miss is going to win
01:43on Saturday night in Austin,
01:45then you should take a little bit of Trinidad Chambliss
01:47at plus 650 to win the Heisman Trophy
01:50because they're going to win that game on his back, right?
01:52He is – I think he's the best quarterback in the sport right now,
01:56just what he does, what he means to that team.
01:59But they still have a game against Georgia later on in November,
02:01so the schedule is really challenging.
02:04You know, Darian Mensah, he goes to Notre Dame November 7th.
02:07As we saw on this past Saturday,
02:10look, Notre Dame's defense is not perfect.
02:12And Bear Bachmeier had some good opportunities in that game.
02:15They made some adjustments in the second half.
02:17But certainly Mensah, if you believe that Miami's going to go to Notre Dame
02:21and win, that guy, he could be a look.
02:23I would never on October 22nd, guys, say you should bet Jeremiah Smith
02:28at minus 105 to win the Heisman Trophy
02:30because we have not seen Luke Fahey take a snap as a starter.
02:35We know there's uncertainty there.
02:37But my just gut tells me that Jeremiah Smith's numbers are going to go up
02:43and that if you're Luke Fahey or you're St. Clair,
02:48look to number four as much as possible for that get-out-of-jail-free card.
02:52When in doubt, look to number four.
02:54I do want to give a shout-out.
02:56I would never bet him.
02:57But Jesse Legree of Oregon State, if you guys have not seen this dude,
03:02he is insane.
03:04He's already got 1,000 receiving yards.
03:07As a true freshman at Oregon State, his quarterback, Atkinson, has been awesome.
03:11This is one of the better stories in college football this year.
