00:00Despite Bradford City's 1-0 win over Blackpool in League One, manager Graham
00:04Alexander shared a small frustration and his side did not come out of the
00:08traps as quickly as they usually do.
00:11Yeah, I think that was part of maybe my frustration as well a little bit because
00:16it's been going so well for us in the league, you know, early starts, quick
00:19starts, you know, two goals up, three goals up, so, you know, I've been in the
00:24game for so long and I'm feeling it, so I understand if the players feel it, I
00:28understand if the supporters might feel it, but we have to take it into account,
00:31so we had a good shot, me and Chris and the other staff at half-time, just about
00:36what was needed in the second half, so great goal to obviously break the
00:41deadlock and then I thought we managed the rest of the game really well, we still
00:46had a couple of opportunities we could have done better with, but I believe we
00:51kept the back door shut quite well as well, so it's a really, really important
00:56win for us.
00:57Three and three for Josh now, it's important, isn't it, and it's his prime
01:00example of getting goals from all over the pitch.
01:02Yeah, yeah, it's really important to us, you know, we want to have threats
01:06throughout, so when the opponent looks at us and thinks, you know, I can stop him,
01:10but what about him, and then what about this guy, and what about this guy?
01:14However, Bradford City goalkeeper Sam Walker was full of praise for his
01:19teammates following the win over Blackpool, dubbing them a really strong group that
01:23can certainly compete in League One this season.
01:26Yeah, we've got a fantastic group, we've got a really strong group, it was a part of
01:33our kind of team last season where we would have to make changes in that back three, particularly
01:37I think back to the run where we were Saturday, Tuesday in January, February, March. We keep
01:43clean sheets, we bring games 1-0, 2-0 and there'd be changes for the next game because that was
01:47how it was, but one thing everyone knows is their role in the team. Everyone knows the
01:52way we like to defend, everyone knows the way we like to play on the ball as well, so
01:57I think the big thing this year is we've got such strength in depth that lads know that they can
02:02give everything for 45, 60 minutes, 75 minutes, whatever it is, and we've got really good quality
02:07and really good energy to come on, and like I say, with Berner and Kieran today, and Cookie as well,
02:12that came on and made a big impact for us.
