00:00Bradford City manager Graham Alexander has praised his side squad depth
00:04and helped them in gaining a 2-2 draw away at Rotherham United.
00:10Well, they needed, you know, that was a case in point today.
00:13You know, we needed to change the sort of the feeling of the game,
00:15the direction of the game.
00:17I thought it was difficult for Swanee with how we were playing, really.
00:21And, you know, they're centre-half, giving them a tough time physically.
00:26But, you know, certainly bringing Cookie on,
00:28I thought Jenson knitted the play really well together
00:30and then Cookie gave us that physical outlet that we needed
00:34so we could sort of go over there, press a little bit and land on second balls.
00:38And, you know, both goals have come from me.
00:40I think the first one, Swanee gets in behind him
00:42and then the second one, Cookie does.
00:44So I thought the subs made a good impact into the game
00:47and we've got players outside of the squad still next to the bench,
00:50still supporting the team.
00:52So I think in, what, 10, 12 days' time when we come back to the next fixture,
00:55I think hopefully we'll have a fully-fit squad apart from maybe one or two players
00:59and they'll be in a good place physically.
01:03The fans are exceptional against Iowa, aren't they?
01:04They were 2-0 down.
01:05They were the loudest in the stadium.
01:06It was just really in the game to see our support.
01:08Yeah, look, they mirror what we are, you know, and we mirror what they are.
01:12We don't give up.
01:14And Leeds United are due a slice of luck.
01:17That's according to their head coach, Daniel Farker,
01:19who made clear that the Whites have missed out on a few points so far this season
01:24due to them being unlucky
01:26and that eventually things will even themselves out.
01:31Over mid- and long-term, I'm a big believer.
01:33It's more like that or then it's really equal.
01:35And I'm also pretty sure that there is also sometimes a game
01:38when we win a point like here
01:39because we've not won one point so far lucky
01:41but we've lost not one, I would say really,
01:44at least six points, a bit unlucky anyhow.
01:48So it's not on the short-term period
01:50and especially not in the beginning of the season
01:52as a newly promoted side
01:53but if you deliver for the mature performance like we did so far
01:57then I'm pretty sure it will also equal more or less,
02:00perhaps not as much in comparison to a really mature top team anyhow
02:05but it won't go like this if you never win a point lucky
02:08and you always are then on the unlucky side
02:10so in the middle and long-term, I'm pretty sure
02:13it will be more or less equal.
