00:00Leeds United head coach Daniel Farker said that his players should be proud of themselves
00:05following their 2-1 victory over struggling side West Ham United and Ellen Road in the Premier League on Friday evening.
00:12Leeds goals came through Brendan Aronson and Joe Rodon.
00:17Yes, it's always the same when you lose a bit the momentum, not in terms of performance but in terms of results.
00:23To win the momentum back is always a difficult game and then you have to dig in and grind out a result.
00:29And this is what we did today. We had a difficult week in terms of illnesses, injuries.
00:33Many players were struggling individually, so for that we need to show the spirit and togetherness
00:39and also that many different players chipped in today.
00:42Also a great start with passion and desire.
00:45You could feel a bit that our structure in possession against the ball was a bit wild in the first half.
00:50You could feel that there were many changes.
00:52Anyhow we corrected this at halftime.
00:54We were way better in the beginning of the second half
00:56but then in the last 20 minutes he also felt that the Lads were getting tired after really a difficult week.
01:01We didn't have the substance to go for 90 minutes really on full strength today
01:06but we wanted to bring this over the line.
01:08This is crucial today.
01:09And yes, for us of course, Price is three points.
01:11The boys should be proud of themselves.
01:13And according to Bradford City manager Graham Alexander, their 1-1 draw with Stevenage away in League One was a fair result.
01:23Yeah, I think, you know, taking into account the opposition, their record here, I think a point over the course of the game was probably fair.
01:33But from our perspective, we were a bit frustrated with, I think the first ten minutes was really good.
01:39I thought we put a lot of pressure on Stevenage.
01:41I thought we obviously scored a goal.
01:43And then I thought we were a little bit safe and didn't take opportunities to attack their back line and create opportunities.
01:53And I thought we allowed them to gain the momentum in the first half, even though they do try to put you under pressure.
01:59So you have to stand up to that.
02:01But the second half was much better from our perspective.
02:04I thought we were much more aggressive, much more clear in our thoughts about when we had possession.
02:10And I thought we were the one that were pushing to win again.
