Leeds United Head Coach Daniel Farke has maintained that his side are putting in good performances on the pitch in the Premier League and are in a good position following their start to the campaign despite missing out on further points, whilst Bradford City Manager Graham Alexander has paid tribute to Cheltenham Town boss Steve Cotterill ahead of the sides meeting in the FA Cup.
00:00Leeds United head coach Daniel Falker has made clear that the White's performances have been good so far this season and he is happy with where they are.
00:08It would be a bit more relaxed if you would have achieved all the points that we normally deserve.
00:12So normally you should be on 15, 16, 17 perhaps already.
00:15Then the sun would shine even a bit more.
00:19We know we are on a good pass.
00:21Point average is good.
00:22The most important thing is performances are good.
00:25It's not like we, with lots of luck anyhow, we have earned some points.
00:30We have earned the points really, really hard and were even in a few games a bit unlucky.
00:35We're on a good pass, but it's also not a guarantee.
00:37If we right now stop winning points, 11 points won't be enough.
00:40So we have to make sure, we spoke about this, that in the end we need probably nine wins, perhaps even ten.
00:48And for that, to be already on three and also a few draws is good, but we have to keep going.
00:53It's never a guarantee that you will stay up just because it has always happened so far in the past.
00:59We were also the first team that was not directly there with automatic promotion,
01:04was not winning 90 points in the championship a few years ago.
01:07So I've never experienced in my life here with Leeds United that we would do anything easy.
01:13And Bradford City manager Graham Alexander has paid tribute to Cheltenham town boss Steve Cotterill,
01:19ahead of the two sides meeting in the FA Cup.
01:21Yeah, well, look, I know Steve really well.
01:25He managed who signed me when I was at Burnham, and I know his assistant, Rob Edwards,
01:31I played next to him for six years, lived in the same street.
01:33And he worked with him at Forest Green as well, so I knew exactly what Steve would bring to Cheltenham straight away.
01:42It's obviously a club that's close to his heart, did an unbelievable job when he was there previously,
01:47which obviously opened up great opportunities for him.
01:51So he's gone back to his spiritual home, and I think you could see that connection straight away
01:55because I've got a real affection for Steve and for Rob, you know,
02:00I paid close attention to him when they went back in there.
02:04So they had a great start.
02:05They obviously, you know, rang me back John Tomkinson.
02:10So, yeah, it's, I think, always been organised.
