Leeds United Head Coach Daniel Farke believes that his side have a tough run of fixtures to come in the Premier Leageu starting with Burnley away at Turf Moor, whilst Bradford City Manager Graham Alexander has praised the ambition of his side on the pitch in searching for goals.
00:00Leeds United head coach Daniel Farker has stressed that his side have a tough run of fixtures to come in the Premier League before the next international break in mid-November.
00:13It doesn't matter where you win the points, and I also take points as an underdog against top teams in the end.
00:20You have to be there with a one-point average per game, and this is small as our approach.
00:25Right now, I wouldn't label it as an easier period for us.
00:28It's totally the other way around if we want to cut the Premier League season into pieces.
00:34We had a great start the first three games, and in between the international breaks, the last four games, I would agree we had excellent performances.
00:42We would have deserved even more points out of these four games.
00:46So four games with top performance level, but also a solid outcome out of points, four points out of these four games.
00:53It's exactly the average you need per game.
00:56It could have been a bit more, or should have been a bit more, and we're a bit unlucky, that's right.
01:02But right now it's also like the next period, and it's the same again.
01:05Out of these four games, till the next international break, we want again to win as many points as possible.
01:11I would judge it as a difficult period.
01:13And Bradford City boss Graeme Alexander has praised his side's ambition on the pitch in terms of going for goal when they can.
01:20The biggest thing for me is the ambition, the willingness to fail, the willingness to go for a shot, to try and take somebody on to play one-two,
01:31try and get the other side of the opponent, cross the ball, get into goal-scoring areas.
01:35You know, all the things that you have to be prepared to fail at and be exposed to failure, they're not scared of that.
01:42They commit to it, and, you know, that's where the risk-reward is, and there's big reward if you're willing to take the risk.
01:49So we try, we implement that all the time, we talk about it, and we make sure we never sort of admonish a player for being ambitious.
02:01You know, because if you start that, then it's counterproductive.
02:05It's, you're saying one thing, but you mean another.
02:08So we believe in giving them freedom to make mistakes with the right mindset behind it.
