00:00I'm here at Yunta, which is around three and a half kilometres northeast of Adelaide,
00:06a small town of around 60 people, where on Saturday night, a child known only as Gus,
00:12that's how it's been referred to by police, went missing from his family homestead,
00:17which is roughly another 40 kilometres south of Yunta, heading into that direction behind me.
00:23According to police, Gus was playing outside in his family's station, as he often does,
00:28a large property of roughly 6,000 hectares, we're told,
00:32when his grandmother went outside to look for him and couldn't find any trace of him.
00:36Police started a search straight away.
00:39That has since involved everything from helicopters to quad bikes,
00:43and police officers also being enlisted yesterday to find this young child.
00:48We also understand that infrared vision has been used throughout the course of the search
00:54to try and detect any signs of life out of this vast scrub that you can see behind me.
01:00Police say that Gus was wearing a blue T-shirt with a Minions animated character on the front of it,
01:07a pair of grey pants and boots as well, and he's not been seen since Saturday night rather.
01:14Police say that they don't have any particular concerns about adverse weather,
01:21but do say that obviously exposure is a live concern for a trial,
01:26ostensibly without any food or shelter.
01:30But as we enter the third day of this search, police say that they have no plans to,
01:36any plans to discontinue it at this point in time.
