ADF personnel deployed to assist search for missing 4-year-old boy

Defence force personnel have joined police and SES volunteers in the search for a four-year-old boy missing in South Australia’s outback.

00:12About 50 defence personnel arriving on the remote sheep station south of Yunta to help search for the four-year-old,

00:20missing for more than 100 hours.

00:23Police confirming the search has officially moved to a recovery stage,

00:28but they haven't given up hope.

00:40The extensive search involving specialist police resources, SES volunteers and a traditional Aboriginal tracker

00:57We have a mobile food van and we knew we had the capacity to be able to help to feed the volunteers.

01:04On Tuesday, a footprint was discovered, but no other footprints or evidence of Gus has been found.

01:19Police say they are continuously re-evaluating their search for young Gus,

01:24with Australian Defence Force troops expected to work into tomorrow when the search enters its seventh day.
