00:00He came out and said, I'm quoting now, talking about Pickens slamming the helmet.
00:04He said, quote, kick the dog, throw the helmet, whatever it takes.
00:10Right.
00:10Now, I don't think, you see the quote there, I don't think for a minute that he meant that literally.
00:17I don't think for a minute that Tom Brady abuses his dogs or has abused dogs.
00:22I took it for how he meant it.
00:25Like, when you're that frustrated, you got to take it out somehow, some way.
00:29Did he choose a bad analogy?
00:31A hundred percent.
00:32If he could go back in time and do it again, he would not say kick the dog.
00:37And I get why Pete is out there now going, oh, Tom Brady hates dogs.
00:41And why, like, you know, dog shelter owners like Tom Brady hates dogs.
00:45It's despicable.
00:46He should be fired.
00:48It's OK to make a mistake once in a while with your words.
00:52Right.
00:52I know dog owners are offended by it.
00:54I get it.
00:55But do you really think that Tom Brady is beating his dog or kicking his dog?
01:02Do you think he ever did?
01:04And I get why people are upset about it.
01:06I get it.
01:08But every once in a while, can we give a guy a little bit of grace when he said something
01:13that, you know, he doesn't mean literally?
01:15Now, he hasn't commented on it.
01:17So the other part of this that's funny to me, when you accuse him of making $75 million.
01:23Hey, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, what you talking about, $75 million, Jack?
01:26Yeah.
01:27That seems problematic to him.
01:29Right.
01:29He wants to make sure we all know he ain't making $75 million.
01:32When he says kick the dog, which he did not mean literally, I don't think at least, and
01:38people call him on it.
01:39I've not seen a retract to him.
01:41He's not worried about that.
01:42But I want to defend him in this regard.
01:45Let's not go down this cancel culture route.
