00:00In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, peace be with you.
00:20We acknowledge our sins, but more importantly, the compassion, the mercy and the love of God.
00:27You are our strength and our hope, Lord, have mercy.
00:31You turn to good everything for those who love you, Christ, have mercy.
00:36And you call us away from confusion into love, Lord, have mercy.
00:41May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and lead us into healing and life everlasting.
00:49Let us pray.
00:50O God, who founded all the commandments of your sacred law upon love of you and our neighbour,
00:57granted by keeping your precepts, we may merit to your grace to attain eternal life.
01:03Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever. Amen.
01:11A reading from the book of Ezra.
01:18In the first year of Cyrus, king of Persia, to fulfill the word of the Lord that was spoken to Jeremiah,
01:27the Lord roused the spirit of Cyrus, king of Persia, to issue a proclamation and to have it publicly displayed throughout his kingdom.
01:36Thus speaks Cyrus, king of Persia, the Lord, the king of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth.
01:46He has ordered me to build him a temple in Jerusalem, in Judah.
01:51Whoever there is among you of all these people, may his God be with him.
01:56Let him go up to Jerusalem in Judah to build the temple of the Lord, the God of Israel.
02:04He is the God who is in Jerusalem.
02:07And let each survivor, wherever he lives, be helped by the people of that place with silver and gold, with goods and cattle,
02:18as well as voluntary offerings for the temple of God which is in Jerusalem.
02:23Then the heads of families of Judah and of Benjamin, the priests and the Levites,
02:29in fact, all whose spirit had been roused by God, prepared to go and rebuild the temple of the Lord in Jerusalem.
02:37And all their neighbors gave them every assistance, with silver, gold, goods, cattle, quantities of costly gifts,
02:45and with voluntary offerings of every kind.
02:48The word of the Lord.
02:51Thanks be to God.
02:53The Lord has done marvels for us.
02:56The Lord has done marvels for us.
02:58When the Lord delivered Zion from bondage, it seemed like a dream.
03:03Then was our mouth filled with laughter.
03:05Then on our lips there were songs.
03:07The Lord has done marvels for us.
03:10The heathens themselves said,
03:12What marvels the Lord worked for them.
03:14What marvels the Lord worked for us.
03:16Indeed, we were glad.
03:17The Lord has done marvels for us.
03:20Deliver us, Lord, from every bondage, as streams and dry land.
03:25Those who are sowing in tears will sing when they rain.
03:28The Lord has done marvels for us.
03:31They go out, they go out full of tears, carrying seed for the sowing.
03:36They come back, they come back full of song, carrying their sheaves.
03:39The Lord has done marvels for us.
03:42Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, that your light shine before all, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father.
03:53Alleluia.
03:53The Lord be with you.
03:57A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Luke.
04:00Glory to you, O Lord.
04:02Jesus said to his disciples,
04:05No one lights a lamp to cover it with a pole, or to put it under a bed.
04:12No, they put it on the lampstand so that people may see the light when they come in.
04:17For nothing is hidden, but it will be made clear.
04:21Nothing secret, but it will be made known and brought to light.
04:26So take care of you here.
04:29For anyone who has will be given more.
04:32And from anyone who has not, even what they think they have will be taken away.
04:37The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
04:44Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
04:55We are called to let our light shine forth, not to be hidden.
05:03We are called to live our faith in everyday life.
05:06By the way we react to life.
05:09By the way we keep saying yes to God.
05:12By the choices we make.
05:15People will know that there is something different here.
05:18And that something different is the grace of God working in weak human nature.
05:24Making us strong with his grace and his love.
05:28Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation.
05:36For to your goodness we have this bread to offer.
05:39Which earth has given human hands have made.
05:42It will become for us the bread of life.
05:45Blessed be God forever.
05:46Blessed are you, Lord God of all.
06:16For to your goodness we have this wine to offer.
06:20Fruit of divine work of human hands.
06:23It will become our spiritual drink.
06:26Blessed be God forever.
06:28Let us pray, brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, our Almighty Father.
06:42May the Lord accept his sacrifice at our hands for the praise and glory of God's name, for our good and the good of God's holy Church.
06:51Receive with favour, O Lord, we pray, the offering of your people, that what they profess with their devotion and faith may be theirs through these heavenly mysteries.
07:02Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
07:04The Lord be with you.
07:09Lift up your hearts.
07:12Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
07:14Father, it is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation, always and everywhere, to give you thanks, Father most holy, to your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, your word for whom you made all things, whom you sent as our Saviour and Redeemer, incarnate by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin.
07:36Fulfilling your will and gaining for you a holy people, he stretched out his hands as he endued his passion, so as to break the bonds of death and manifest the resurrection.
07:47And so, with the angels and all the saints, we declare your glory, as with one voice we acclaim, Holy, Holy, Holy Lord, God of hosts.
07:57Heaven and earth are full of your glory.
07:59Hosanna in the highest.
08:01Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
08:04Hosanna in the highest.
08:06You are indeed holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness.
08:10Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray, by sending down your Spirit upon them like the dewfall, so that they may become for us the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
08:21At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his passion.
08:26He took bread and giving thanks broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying,
08:31Take this, all of you, and eat of it, for this is my body which will be given up for you.
08:37In a similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice, and once more giving thanks, he gave it to his disciples, saying,
08:51Take this, all of you, and drink from it, for this is the chalice of my blood, the blood of the new and eternal covenant,
08:59which will be poured out for you, and for many, for the forgiveness of sins.
09:05Do this in memory of me.
09:07The mystery of faith.
09:16We proclaim your death, O Lord, and profess your resurrection until you come again.
09:21Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection, we offer you, Lord, the bread of life and the chalice of salvation,
09:37giving thanks that you've held us worthy to be in your presence and minister to you.
09:43Humbly we pray that, partaking of the body and blood of Christ, we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit.
09:52Remember, Lord, your Church, spread throughout the world, and bring her to the fullness of charity,
09:57together with Leo, our Pope, Leo, our worthy servant, and all the clergy.
10:03Remember also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection,
10:08and all who have died in your mercy.
10:11Welcome them into the light of your face.
10:14Have mercy on us all, we pray, that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God,
10:19Blessed Joseph, her spouse, with the blessed apostles and all the saints who have pleased you throughout the ages,
10:27we may merit to be coerged with eternal life,
10:30and may praise and glorify you through your Son, Jesus Christ.
10:34Through him and with him and in him, O God Almighty Father,
10:41in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honor is yours, forever and ever. Amen.
10:47At the Saviour's command and form a divine teaching, we dare to say,
10:54Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
10:58Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
11:03Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses,
11:08as we forgive those who trespass against us.
11:12And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
11:16Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil.
11:19Graciously grant peace in our days, that by the help of your mercy,
11:23we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress,
11:26as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
11:32For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and forever.
11:37Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your apostles,
11:40Peace I leave you, my peace I give you,
11:42look not on our sins, but on the faith of your Church,
11:45and graciously grant her peace and unity in accordance with your will,
11:50who live and reign forever and ever. Amen.
11:52The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
11:57Let us offer each other a sign of peace.
12:00Peace be with you all.
12:02Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world.
12:06Have mercy on us.
12:08Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world.
12:11Have mercy on us.
12:13Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world.
12:17Grant us peace.
12:22Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world.
12:40Happy are those who are called to the supper of the Lamb.
12:43Lord, I am not worthy you should enter under my roof,
12:46but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.
12:49My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most blessed sacrament.
12:59I love you above all things, and I desire to receive you into my soul.
13:04Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally,
13:07commonly, spiritually, into my heart,
13:10I embrace you as if you were already there,
13:13and unite myself wholly to you.
13:15Never permit me to be separated from you.
13:19Amen.
13:20Let us pray.
13:27Graciously raise up, O Lord, those you renew with this sacrament,
13:32that we may come to possess your redemption,
13:35both in mystery and in the manner of our life.
13:37Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
13:39The Lord be with you.
13:41And may the peace and the blessing of the Father and of the Son
13:44and of the Holy Spirit come upon you and remain always with you.
13:48Let us go and live the gospel.
13:50Thanks be to God and God bless your day.
13:53God bless you.
