Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh – A shocking incident has come to light where 22-year-old Ankul Saroj was brutally murdered with an axe while at a temple to marry his girlfriend.
Police said the girl’s family allegedly lured Ankul on some pretext before attacking him. The couple had already married a few months ago but continued to live separately in their homes.
The case has triggered outrage over honour killing suspicions.
