00:00I think I'm going to start here, kind of go a little bit off what we were going to do here.
00:03But first, you know, let's talk about Philadelphia because they get Duran from the Twins,
00:08who would appear to be the best relief pitcher on the market that got traded.
00:13But then Mason Miller got dealt today.
00:15So I guess I would ask you this, Matt, you know, let's not focus on the return just yet.
00:21Let's talk about the best relief pitcher that was traded today.
00:24Do you think that it was Duran on Minnesota going to Philadelphia?
00:27Or do you think it was Miller going, of course, from the A's to the Padres?
00:32What do you think?
00:33Yeah, I think it's Miller.
00:34I mean, I know his year hasn't been as good this year.
00:36I just think he is, you know, the overall better pitcher.
00:40Certainly longer term, too.
00:42I think when you look at that, he might have a little more upside.
00:45You know, you're right, though, about the return.
00:47He obviously commanded more.
00:49So I think looking at it, Philly's fans are probably very happy with how things turned out for them.
00:55And they got a great reliever, too.
00:56I mean, I'm not taking anything away from Duran, whose stuff is, you know, every bit as nasty.
01:01Being up here in Twins country, getting a chance to really watch him closely day-to-day, firsthand,
01:07seeing kind of how he progressed, became that lockdown star who just throws absolutely filthy stuff.
01:13He's a great guy to have on your team, a fun guy to root for, and he's a great pitcher, too.
01:17But, yeah, two really good ones that went to contending NL teams.
01:22And it's just going to, you know, anytime you have a shift of talent from AL to NL or vice versa,
01:27I think that always makes things a little more interesting, you know, in the division or in the league where they get a little more loaded up.
