00:00After the new low, skipper Raston Chase had to face the music as he attempted to address where things went wrong for the Caribbean men.
00:09It's heartbreaking, obviously, to be in a position like that where we think we could have won the game and then come out and have that poor batting display.
00:17But, I mean, it's something that's been reoccurring for the whole series, so that makes it even more disappointing.
00:22Yeah, it's a new dispensation, new coach, new captain, some players coming back into the fold.
00:29Results obviously haven't gone the way that you would have wanted. How do you assess the series as a whole?
00:37Yeah, well, I think it's quite easy to assess. The bowlers kept us in the series all series long and the batting never really showed up.
00:45And I think that's just what we need to work on. We need to really take a deep look at ourselves as batters.
00:51And, I mean, the next series from here is quite a while, so we have time on our side.
00:56So I think that that's what we need to really do, really have a look at our batting displays for this series and see where we can improve and how we can put 300 run totals on the board.
01:07All while the batters might have been the Achilles heel, the West Indies bowling attack was the one bright spot, with Shaman Joseph leading the wicket-taking with 22 wickets,
01:16while Al-Zari Joseph and Jaden Seeders both took 13 apiece.
01:21And the skipper, well, he was naturally complimentary to that group.
01:24I would obviously like to congratulate them. They've done well. They've done an outstanding job.
01:31I mean, every time I called on them, they were ready and willing to give that effort.
01:36They've been putting in the hard work even before in the camp.
01:39And we said we're going to expect big things from them, from what they were doing in the camp.
01:44So I just want them to obviously bias in their success a little.
01:49Obviously, we didn't do great as a team, but as a bowling unit, I thought they did very well.
01:54But I don't want them to rest on their laurels and feel that they're turning the corner.
01:59I just want them to keep striving for greatness.
