00:01The West Indies lost the second T20 international to Afghanistan in Dubai by 39 runs, thus surrendering the series with one more to play.
00:09One of the things that West Indies stand-in captain Brandon King was concerned about was the fielding.
00:14Yeah, obviously that's a disappointment. Two games now, we've dropped some key players for them.
00:19They would help us to restrict them to maybe a lower total, but obviously that's something we keep working on.
00:24We have a game tomorrow and we'd love to improve. We're our professionals and we're looking to improve.
00:28West Indies had to get to 190 to win the match, but lost wickets regularly.
00:33King, who made 50, praised Shumran Hetmaya for his 46 of 17 balls.
00:38Yeah, I mean, obviously when Hattie came, he had a brilliant start and I think he played a fantastic innings, you know, really kept us in the game.
00:45After he got out, obviously, I took responsibility on myself. I would have had to be the person to finish the game.
00:49So, you know, and on a matter of the day, if I'm facing so many balls, hopefully I'll get more runs and it would have been easier for everybody else.
00:55Afghanistan skipper Rashid Khan was elated after his team clinched the series.
00:59It has happened at a time with the T20 World Cup bowling off in India and Sri Lanka in less than three weeks.
01:04Playing against the best side, you know, he's very special with the T20 format.
01:08And I think, you know, for us, the biggest challenge was like, you know, how are we going to come back as a team?
01:14Especially, we had a very bad Asia Cup, you know, and then going for the big event like a World Cup, I think this preparation will really help us.
01:25Both Afghanistan and West Indies play their final game of the bilateral series on Thursday with the men in maroon hoping to avoid a whitewash.
