As such, he does not see West Indies cricket as a failure, saying the objective is to make it a successful brand, despite the many challenges that lie ahead.

00:00I think the idea of West Indies brings the most, probably in history, the most successful brand in cricket.
00:07That is what the idea of West Indies represents.
00:10I've said it before, when we dominated, everybody wanted West Indies to play.
00:19I mean, all teams go through their cycles.
00:25All teams go through their cycles.
00:26For us, we're going through it now.
00:28But the idea of West Indies will never be one that is a failure.
00:35Because I understand the history we bring to this game.
00:39I understand what it takes to be a successful brand.
00:44And that is what this generation, I'm pretty sure, cricket West Indies, that is what they're trying to bring back.
00:53And yes, we have some challenges in doing that, whether it be financial, whether it be some of the things that we've spoken about.
01:02But the idea of West Indies is never one that's failing.
01:05It is one that brings great history and legacy.
01:08I'm pretty sure West Indies has inspired so many people from Bangladesh and want them to play the game.
01:17And we'll continue to do that.
01:20But I'll never see the brand that West Indies is as one that's a failing one in my head.
01:28We don't do that.
01:29So let's pray with you.
