TV6 WEATHER REPORT: IT’S FRIDAY!

Tobago had heavy rains and thunderstorm while Trinidad was mostly sunny, Rochelle Edwards tells us what to expect over the weekend.

00:05my word for it. Here's Rochelle with tonight's weather forecast. It sure looks like it Vash but

00:11only for a while. Good evening Trinidad and Tobago. I'm Rochelle Edwards with the details on your

00:17weather. Today at around 1.30 this afternoon scattered heavy showers linked to isolated

00:23thunderstorm activity moved across northern eastern Tobago drifting west to southwest across

00:30the island later becoming sunny. Elsewhere was pretty sunny with partly cloudy skies. Mild

00:36Saharan dust was present in the atmosphere. Currently TV6's weather center for downtown

00:42says Porto Spain has a temperature of 32 degrees Celsius and winds are coming southeast at

00:49the speed of 6 knots. Tonight will be partly cloudy with charry intervals over some areas

00:54especially from late night. Tomorrow expect a few partly cloudy periods with showers to

01:00interrupt our sunshine especially during the morning period favoring Trinidad. There is also

01:05a low to medium chance of isolated thunderstorm activity. Nighttime will be generally settled

01:11apart from the odd lingering shower. The forecast maximum temperature in both islands are 31 degrees

01:17in Tobago for both Sunday and Monday. Now I hope you didn't tell your boss Rochelle said skip work and

01:29go to the beach but if you did I hope it was worth it. But tomorrow sees our most of the weather

01:35waves reaching 1.5 meters to 2 meters in open waters and below 1 meter occasionally choppy in sheltered areas.

01:53Now I don't advise skipping work but I do advise getting up early for a quick morning run. Sunrise is at 5.50 and sunset at 6.32 in Trinidad

01:57and in Tobago sunrise is at 5.46 and it will set at 6.30. Now let's take a quick look at our tide times.
