00:00Cyclist Nicholas Paul faced the tough odds against the Champions League sprint leader
00:04Matthew Richardson in the semis, but he's sure that he can pull off a shock.
00:08Richardson goes up really steep there, really high, forcing the riders into a traction.
00:13That was a nice trick there because he slowed his speed down quickly, but wow!
00:16Nicholas Paul saw the jump moment and he has made the jump.
00:20And that's quite the difference.
00:22There are still two whole laps to go, but he's got an eye on 100 metres here.
00:30Nicholas Paul's flying away.
00:32Richardson's being made a move hard and Hoffman just sitting on his wheel and playing that card as well.
00:37One lap to go and they've not cut a metre back yet.
00:40This is Nicholas Paul going all the way.
00:42200 metres to the line.
00:44Richardson has it all to do and I'm not sure he can do it.
00:47They're into the final 100 now.
00:49Paul, Paul, Paul.
00:51Nicholas Paul into the final. Wow!
00:55Paul was eventually defeated in the final by hometown favourite and Olympic champion Harry Labreyson in the final.
01:01One and a half laps to go now.
01:04The pace is hotting up.
01:07It's Labreyson who looks like he's going to lead this one out now.
01:11He will do it as the battle goes.
01:13There's a flight left between them as they go into the final 200 metres.
01:16Paul's trying again.
01:18He isn't really doing a job of it though because the crowd roar.
01:21It's Labreyson who's into the final two turns.
01:24One-sided stuff.
01:25Harry Labreyson with 20 points and is right back into this fight for the Champions League.
