00:00Was it because in terms of your leadership she resigned?
00:04I have no idea. She did not indicate anything like that in her resignation letter.
00:12So I do not know the reasons for her personal decision but we thank her for her service
00:20and for all her contributions made as a member of the organization and a member of the executives
00:26and I wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
00:31Asked to comment on some calls for Mr. Dennis to resign.
00:35I will not comment on that. I will have no comment to make on that more than to say that people are entitled to their opinions.
00:44It's a democracy and people are free to speak as they wish.
00:50I mean that is all part of the course in a democratic organization.
00:53But to comment directly on that, I will have no comment.
00:58Mr. Dennis said Tobago has lacked good leadership under the Tobago People's Party.
01:03For the last four years, Tobago has lacked good leadership and we in the PNM are preparing to do just that
01:15and a very important part of that process is to ensure that we select a good team of candidates.
01:24On Monday, the PNM announced the party closing nominations for eight electoral districts for the upcoming THA election with 21 aspirants to be considered.
01:36Dennis said he is confident of a PNM victory at the polls.
01:40We have the track record, we have the history, we have a history of delivery to the people of Tobago
01:52and once again we are promising the people of Tobago good governance.
01:58We are holding out to the people of Tobago that once the PNM is elected
02:02that Tobago and the people of Tobago will benefit from people-centred leadership and service.
