00:00He has won a Masters, and he has won a PGA Championship.
00:03Two more major championships remaining this year,
00:06a United States Open coming up next month,
00:09and the Open Championship across the pond in Northern Ireland.
00:13Keith, is Scotty Scheffler going to add to that career Grand Slam this season?
00:19I mean, he's definitely the favorite to do it, Ben.
00:22But I want to pump the brakes just for a second.
00:24When you start to talk about legacy, Scotty's now 29 years old,
00:28and he's getting a lot of comparisons to Tiger Woods.
00:30So, you know, I did the math.
00:32We went back to when Tiger was 29 years old.
00:35So Tiger, Scotty at this point, right, he has 138 career starts.
00:39He's got those three majors.
00:41He's got two players.
00:42He's got 18 total wins overall if you want to count the hero challenges
00:45and all of those, right?
00:47Tiger at 29, he had 173 career starts.
00:51He had 45 wins, eight majors, and only one players.
00:57I'm sorry.
00:58But what Scotty needs to do to start to assert himself
01:01and to answer your question about these majors is that he's got to start making some runs.
01:06Tiger used to win five, six in a row at multiple times in his career.
01:10He used to own certain places.
01:11Well, we look at the next venue for Scotty.
01:13He's going to Colonial this week.
01:15He's got to win now, what, three in a row.
01:17Then he goes to Muirfield Village.
01:19He won there last year.
01:20Then he goes to a U.S. Open.
01:21He hasn't won one of those, but it's going to be a difficult golf course.
01:24He'll truly be the favorite.
01:25This is what he needs to do the week after the U.S. Open.
01:28The Travelers, he'll be the defending champion.
01:30If he rattles off a couple in a row here,
01:33then I think we really start to talk about him being, you know,
01:35a multiple major winner in the same calendar year.
01:39And, Scotty, in action this week at the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial
01:44in his hometown of Dallas, Texas.
01:46Well, he does.
