00:00One of the players that really touched me when he passed is Toño de Negris.
00:05Toño de Negris, he was a legend of Club Monterrey in Mexico
00:08and a Mexican player that scored one of the most memorable goals against Brazil
00:13on a single volley with a left leg, al angulo, in an official game.
00:19He was a player that traveled the world.
00:21He went and represented Mexico in over 10 different leagues around the world,
00:26always as a striker, always scoring goals,
00:28and unfortunately he passed on his leap before a game peacefully
00:33and we no longer saw the magic of Toño de Negris.
00:37Toño de Negris became a very iconic player because, like you said,
00:40he troubled the world representing Mexico in scoring goals
00:43and every single team that he played for, Once Caldas in Ecuador,
00:46I remember him playing La Liga, El Torneo Intercontinental
00:49in a final with Once Caldas, taking a penalty kick and scoring it
00:54for Villarreal in Spain, for America as well.
00:57Toño de Negris, it reminds us that even if you're eating healthy,
01:03even if you are, you know, un deportista, impeccable,
01:08you know, cuando la muerte viene...
01:10Como dicen, cuando es para ti te toca y cuando es para ti aunque te...
01:14Aunque te dices.
01:16It's difficult to talk about these players
01:17because many of these players were those who we watch
01:20and we wanted to emulate in the field.
01:22And we wanted to emulate in the field.
