00:00Let's go about the reality of Messi post-retirement
00:04from the international sphere.
00:07And now he's fully focused on MLS.
00:11You never talk about the MLS.
00:12We talk about MLS.
00:13I know, I know.
00:14I hear Liga Mekis.
00:15You know why?
00:15Because this season, my black and gold LAFC has been dismissal.
00:19They had a coach that led mid-season.
00:22The new guy hasn't been able to make the team play
00:26at the level that it should be.
00:27They're barely qualifying to the playoffs.
00:30So, to be honest, I'm a little down and under with the MLS.
00:34But there's record-breaking momentum in this season
00:38because Nashville, the most powerful team of MLS,
00:42is breaking the record of most points in a single season.
00:46They're already, my friends, with 74 points.
00:50And you say, like, that's a lot of points.
00:52Look at down below, Miami, with the power of Messi,
00:56Berterame, Luis Suarez.
00:57And all the support of the league has 59 points.
01:02We're talking about 15 points.
01:04That's five games.
01:05Like, if you're a basketball fan, those five games in hand.
01:08And how many games difference have they played?
01:10Have they played the same amount of games?
01:11Same amount of games played so far.
01:1333 games.
01:14We're almost done.
01:15This weekend is decision day.
01:17The last day of the season, the regular season.
01:19All teams play at the same time to see who qualifies.
01:23Now, the Eastern Conference is set.
01:25Nashville, Miami, New England, Chicago, Charlotte, Philadelphia, Cincinnati.
01:30And the play-in, Orlando.
01:30Now, what do you think of Miami?
01:32Miami, look.
01:34Here we go.
01:35Here we go.
01:36Miami is a great plaza.
01:38It's a great team.
01:38It deserves a place in the pantheon of MLS.
01:41It's a great city to have football.
01:43They have a new stadium.
01:45They're putting a lot of money into the project.
01:46They brought the most famous players.
01:48So you call them the new stadium, by the way.
01:49The new stadium.
01:50The new stadium.
01:52But I have a beef with Messi because although the level that he has been showing is pretty
01:58high, above the average level, above the average of the league, the reality is that
02:03for me, his attitude has changed.
02:06Messi has become a figure through many years in Barcelona of putting forward an image of
02:12respect, of not getting in trouble, of not being obnoxious and a douche.
02:18But his time spent in MLS has proven to be very different.
02:22He has been arrogant with the other players.
02:25He has been low-key a bully to younger players, to unknown players.
02:29Just the attitude.
02:30Just like the way that he talks.
02:31He gets in the face of the referees asking for cards all the time, asking for fouls.
02:36And refs give it to them.
02:37So he's a great player.
02:39He's above the fold.
02:40Without a doubt.
02:41I'm not going to take any of the accolades or the level that he shows because he continued
02:45to perform, scoring goals.
02:47But the reality is that I wish we got a version of Messi that was more friendly in the pitch.
02:54A little more elevated.
02:56Like an ambassador.
02:57He's a guy that is...
02:58And now, you know, with the news that just today, Ronaldo just announced his retirement
03:05from the Portugal team.
03:07Now, this is the first international game that we're going to have this November in almost
03:1215 years without either of the two.
03:14And now, this is the first international game that we're going to have to be able to do.
