00:00Rory McIlroy didn't play well in this tournament coming in not playing well you told us Keith right

00:05here on this show like this guy's one of the favorites he will not be on my card here but

00:10it's not even that how did he go from boy I finally complete the grand slam I love everything

00:14out here too don't you dare put that mic in my face matter of fact I don't even know if I like

00:19golf anymore what happened to Rory Donnie it's as simple as this a grip on your club is like a grip

00:25on your world and there's obviously something going on behind the scenes because Rory has always

00:30managed within a tournament or two to get his game back in shape it's not the fact that he's changing

00:34drivers that's causing him to be short with the media to be terse to be court to be curt with

00:40everyone to be on edge I mean everywhere you see him even walking around he's got his head down

00:44doesn't want to make eye contact with anything that's not Rory that's not the Rory that I've

00:48seen out here for the last four years he is always one to stop and have a conversation with a volunteer

00:53or everyone so I really think that there's something going on outside of golf and I hope

00:57that everything's okay in his world but it's obvious to me that if you're not settled in bed

01:03then you're certainly not going to be settled in a bunker down there at Oakmont and be able to get up

01:07and down because for right now he seems like he's got a lot on his plate and I'm going to fade him again

01:13this week here at the Travelers I mean he's a the guy it's driver wedge putter this week and for all

01:19intensive purposes I'm not sure any of those three will work for him enough to get across the finish

01:24line yeah well it's uh it could be a little personal relationship situation going on there

01:31because it feels like it's all above the shoulders doesn't it with him it can't just be that I won

01:37the Masters and I'm done there's got to be more to it above the shoulders I think that's where the

01:42big problem lies with him right now there's no doubt about that Joe and I'm not going to even go

01:48down that road or speculate but I mean the way that he played golf to start the year was some of

01:52the best golf of his career um he had a mission it was the Masters you know he said he worked hard

01:58for six months from October working on like specific aspects of his game just to get ready

02:03for Augusta National he reached the career grand slam it sounds to me like a lot of self-talk when he

02:09says you know I'm going to have a tough time getting going after I you know I accomplished that major

02:14career goal I mean that guy's never had trouble getting going so I'm with you I I think it's I

02:19think it's between the ears
