00:00:01So a couple weeks ago I preached a sermon about dual prophecies and I started looking at the Day of the Lord and there's several mentions about the Day of the Lord.

00:00:11Some of them are a slightly future event when the whatever the prophet is that's preaching about it.

00:00:20But then some of it was a more future event like when Jesus is first coming and then some of it is a future event of when the second coming of Christ is.

00:00:33And then some of it is even further into the more of the future when we're in heaven for eternity.

00:00:40So we're going to start in Isaiah 2.

00:00:43So if you know anything about the Bible we know that Isaiah is one of the prophecy books, the major prophets.

00:00:49That is talking about the Babylonian captivity way in advance, talking about what God's going to do, his judgment, that he's not happy with the nation of Judah.

00:01:02Now we know that when Solomon was king, after he was king, the nation of Israel was split into two.

00:01:12One was Israel, which was the northern kingdom, which is about ten tribes.

00:01:17And then the nation of Judah was about two tribes.

00:01:21You had the Levites and then some others.

00:01:25So now Israel, the northern nation, became just so wicked that God just basically did away with him and he focused on the nation of Judah.

00:01:35And that's where we're at.

00:01:36Isaiah 2.12

00:01:37Isaiah 2.12

00:01:41For the day of the Lord of hosts shall be upon everyone that is proud and lofty, and upon everyone that is lifted up, and he shall be brought low.

00:01:52So when we read this, we say, well this might be when God is going to punish the nation of Judah, and that's possible.

00:02:01And upon all the cedars of Lebanon that are high and lifted up, and upon the oaks of Bashan, and upon the high mountains, and upon the hills that are lifted up, and upon every high tower, and upon every fence wall, and upon the ships of Tarshish, and upon the pleasant pictures, and the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low.

00:02:21And the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day, and the idols he shall utterly abolish.

00:02:29So it's clear that in this passage, it's talking about the recent future event of when God is going to destroy the nation of Judah.

00:02:40The Babylonian nation is going to come in and take them captive because they did get haughty.

00:02:45They were proud and not listening to what the Lord is saying.

00:02:50So if you go backwards to verse 1 and chapter 2, the word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning what? Judah and Jerusalem.

00:03:03So this is what God is showing Isaiah that's going to happen to Judah and Jerusalem.

00:03:09We know that Jerusalem was the capital city of Judah.

00:03:14And it came to pass in the last days that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills, and all the nations shall flow into it.

00:03:26And many nations shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go into the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob.

00:03:34And he would teach us his ways, and we will walk in his path, for out of the Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord shall come from Jerusalem.

00:03:46And it shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people, and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks.

00:03:56Nations shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.

00:04:00So we know that we've seen a transition, that it's talking about the mountain of the Lord.

00:04:05First it's talking about beating their swords into plowshares.

00:04:09Well this isn't when Babylon's taking them.

00:04:12They're not going to take their swords and beat them into a plowshare.

00:04:15What is a plowshare?

00:04:16It's a farming tool.

00:04:18It's something you would use as a farming tool.

00:04:21A pruning hook is just something that you might cut down and prune a plant with.

00:04:26And what it's saying is that sometime this is going to happen.

00:04:30Well we know this isn't going to happen when they're coming, the Babylonian nation is coming to take Judah.

00:04:37Because they're going to be fighting them.

00:04:39In fact the whole book of Isaiah is a prophecy in Jeremiah telling them don't fight these people.

00:04:45They will kill you.

00:04:47Just give up.

00:04:48Go into captivity.

00:04:49God will take care of you.

00:04:50But what do they do?

00:04:51They don't do that.

00:04:52Some of them fight.

00:04:53Some of them get destroyed.

00:04:54Some of them get burned up.

00:04:55Get stabbed.

00:04:55So this in verse 4 has nothing to do with the recent event that's going to happen with the nation of Judah.

00:05:04But it's a further event of when Jesus Christ is ruling and reigning for a thousand years.

00:05:10That's when we see them not fighting anybody.

00:05:14That's when we see peace on earth.

00:05:15Is when they don't need weapons.

00:05:18But now this is not what this is talking about.

00:05:22Go down to verse 5.

00:05:24O house of Jacob, come ye and let us walk in the light of the Lord.

00:05:30Therefore thou hast forsaken thy people, the house of Jacob, because they be plenished from the east and are soothsayers like the Philistines.

00:05:38And they please themselves and children of strangers.

00:05:41Their land is also full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasure.

00:05:45Their land is also full of horses, neither is there the end of their chariots.

00:05:48Their land also is full of idols, they worship the work of their hands, that which their own fingers have made.

00:05:55And the mean man boweth down, and the great man humbleth himself.

00:05:59Therefore forgive them not.

00:06:02Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for the fear of the Lord, and for the glory of his majesty.

00:06:07That sounds like in Revelation 6, where it says that the men are going to hide in the rocks, and they're going to say, you know, fall down on me.

00:06:19Because they don't want Jesus to be the judgment.

00:06:23The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the heartiness of men shall be bowed down.

00:06:27And the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.

00:06:30For the day of the Lord of hosts shall be upon everyone that is proud and lofty, and upon everyone that is lifted up, and he shall be brought down low.

00:06:39So we see that it transitions.

00:06:43One, we see the future event of when God is going to punish the nation of Judah.

00:06:48But then it transitions in verse 4, talking about that, hey, everything's going to be fine, and eventually Jerusalem's going to be lifted up.

00:06:57Not now.

00:06:58This is not now.

00:06:59This is in the future.

00:07:01More future event.

00:07:02After the rapture, after Jesus comes, and the rapture, after the judgment of God, when he brings down fire and brimstone, and turns water into blood, rivers into blood, all this stuff is in the future.

00:07:16And then we see where it's talking about no war, where nations are not fighting against each other.

00:07:23Go to Isaiah 13.

00:07:26Isaiah chapter 13.

00:07:28And again, I want you to constantly see that in the Old Testament especially, there's a transition of events that might come recent, close to when the prophet is saying it.

00:07:43But then there's future, more future events, like the first coming of Christ, or the second coming of Christ, or either further in advance.

00:07:51So the worst thing we can do is we can't read the Old Testament and say, this is talking about something that's going to happen.

00:07:59Some of it's already happened.

00:08:01Some of it's already happened.

00:08:02We just see where God's talking about judging the day of the Lord.

00:08:06We can't just say the day of the Lord is that Jesus' second coming because that's not.

00:08:10Sometimes it's the first coming.

00:08:12Sometimes it's a small judgment, a small day of the Lord.

00:08:15Now we know there's a big day of the Lord when He is going to destroy everything on this earth.

00:08:21We know that.

00:08:21Now I wasn't alive back then.

00:08:51And I don't know exactly what happened.

00:08:53I don't know if it was sudden.

00:08:55But I do know that the Bible constantly talks about the end times as what?

00:09:00As a woman's travailing.

00:09:02That's talking about when she's about to have a baby.

00:09:06That when a woman's pregnant and she starts to have labor pains, they start a little bit.

00:09:12And then they continue on.

00:09:14Then they get more frequent.

00:09:15There's more time between them.

00:09:17I don't know that.

00:09:18I've seen enough stuff on TV and talked about enough to women that eventually, right before the baby comes, the labor pains are more intense.

00:09:28And then they're more frequent.

00:09:29And there's less time between them.

00:09:30You know, you see on TV where they say, well, how much time is the pain in each pain?

00:09:34And they tell you.

00:09:35That's what it's talking about.

00:09:36So when the Bible's talking about labor pains, and as a woman travaileth, that reminds me of what God talks about the end times.

00:09:46So again, we see a transition of saying, today, the day of the Lord is at hand.

00:09:51But then we see it talking about a future event.

00:09:55Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel, both wrath and fierce anger.

00:09:59That could be what's happening with the nation of Judah, but it's also could be what's happening when, after the Lord comes, and he does destroy everything on this earth.

00:10:09He shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

00:10:13So it could be talking about the people who resist or whatever in the nation of Judah.

00:10:17But again, there's a dual prophecy that is talking about when, a later event of the day of the Lord.

00:10:22And then we see, look at verse 10, for the stars of heaven and the constellations there shall not give their light.

00:10:29The sun shall be darkened in his glory forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

00:10:36We see that in Matthew 24.

00:10:38We see that in Mark 13.

00:10:41We see that in Luke 21.

00:10:43We see that in Revelation 6, where constantly, the sun's not going to shine.

00:10:49The blood moon that they're talking about.

00:10:51And then the stars are going to fall out of the sky.

00:10:53Could it happen then?

00:10:55Probably so.

00:10:55But we know that it's clear that in the New Testament, it talks about these events coming in the future when Jesus Christ comes.

00:11:04And then, look, I will punish the world for their iniquity.

00:11:08So this has nothing to do with the nation of Judah.

00:11:11But it does have to do with the judgment of God after the second coming of Christ,

00:11:16when he does bring on the vile judgments, the trumpet judgments, that he is going to punish the world for their evil.

00:11:25But here we see transition from Babylon, because you look at verse 1, it says the burden of Babylon.

00:11:32Well, that's just talking about one little event.

00:11:34But then the future event, further in, that we see.

00:11:38And I will cause the arrogancy of the proud deceased, and will lay low the haughtiness of their terrible.

00:11:46And I will make a man more precious than fine gold, even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.

00:11:53Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall move out of her place.

00:11:57And the wrath of the Lord of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

00:12:00And so we see that verse 11 through 13 is talking about, or 10 through 13 is talking about what?

00:12:08It's talking about the future event.

00:12:09When God brings judgment, he's going to shake the earth.

00:12:12The Bible talks about shaking the earth like a drunken man walks, where he's wobbling around.

00:12:19This didn't happen against Judah, but it is going to happen in the future.

00:12:22Go to verse 14.

00:12:24And it shall be as a chaste roe, and as a sheep, that no man taketh up.

00:12:28But they shall, every man turn to his own people, and flee into every one of his own land.

00:12:33Every one that is found shall be thrust through, and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword.

00:12:38Again, now we're transferring to what?

00:12:40We're transferring back to when the nation of Judah is going to be judged by Babylon.

00:12:47Their children also shall be dashed into pieces before their eyes.

00:12:50Their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.

00:12:53Behold, I will stir up the meads.

00:12:55So we know what happened.

00:12:56We know that the nation of Babylon destroyed Judah, the nation of Judah.

00:13:01And then what happened?

00:13:03Babylon got haughty, and guess what?

00:13:05The Medes and the Persians, and they came and took over Babylon, the nation of Babylon.

00:13:10We know that Nebuchadnezzar, there's a dream that his son saw, and he was killed that night by the Medes and the Persians.

00:13:21That's what it's saying, that God is going to stir up the Medes against them, shall not regard silver and gold, as they shall not delight in them.

00:13:28Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces, and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb.

00:13:35Their eyes shall not spare children.

00:13:36So we see a transition.

00:13:38First, it's talking about a future event, and then it's talking about further in the future of the end times.

00:13:44Go to Isaiah 34.

00:13:45We're just looking at every time it talks about the day of the Lord.

00:13:52There's other times where it talks about the day of his judgment, like in Zephaniah, but it's actually talking about just the Babylonian.

00:14:01Look at Isaiah 34, verse 1.

00:14:31And all the hosts of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll, and all their hosts shall fall down as a leaf falleth off the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.

00:14:42So we know verse 1 through 4 is talking about the future event of God's judgment.

00:14:48Because it's talking about the earth.

00:14:50Or you hear something about the whole world.

00:14:53These events are in the future.

00:14:55Talking about it being melted.

00:14:57Talking about the heavens being rolled back like a scroll.

00:15:00We see that in one of the scriptures when Jesus comes in the clouds.

00:15:03Go down to verse 5.

00:15:05For my sword shall be bathed in heaven.

00:15:08Behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse to judgment.

00:15:14The sword of the Lord is filled with blood.

00:15:16It is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, and the fat of the kidneys of rams.

00:15:21For the Lord hath a sacrifice in Bozar, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.

00:15:27And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls, and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with the fatness.

00:15:38It is the day of the Lord's vengeance, and the year of recompenses for the controversy of Zion.

00:15:44So we saw in verse 1 through 4 talking about the more future event after Jesus' second coming.

00:15:49Now we see something that's going to happen just to the nation of Judah.

00:15:54And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof, and the brimstone of land there shall become burning pitch.

00:16:01We know that the nation of Judah was burned.

00:16:04It was burning, and they were killed with the sword.

00:16:07That's why we know that this is the prophecy of what's going to happen to the nation of Judah.

00:16:14It shall not be quenched night or day.

00:16:16The smoke there shall go up forever.

00:16:18From generation to generation it shall allow waste.

00:16:21None shall pass through it forever and ever.

00:16:23Because we know that what?

00:16:24God promised that nobody would ever live in the nation of Babylon after it was destroyed.

00:16:29So this is talking about a more future event in Revelation 18 where it says that God's going to destroy the Babylon.

00:16:40Not the little nation of Babylon, but what he has deemed as being like Babylon, which I believe at this point is the United States.

00:16:47Because we have more influence on the world than any other nation as far as music, as far as what we tell people to do.

00:16:58All these things.

00:17:00So we see again another transition.

00:17:05Go to Revelation 19.

00:17:09Well, I'm sorry, let me finish reading.

00:17:11But the Cormoron and the Bitturn shall possess it.

00:17:15The Owl and the Raven shall dwell in it.

00:17:17He shall stretch forth the line of confusion and the stones of emptiness.

00:17:21They shall call the nobles heir of the kingdom, but none shall be there.

00:17:24And her princes shall be nothing.

00:17:25All thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof.

00:17:31And there shall be an inhabitation of dragons and a court for owls.

00:17:37Wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island.

00:17:41And the satyr shall cry to his fellow.

00:17:44And the screech owl shall also rest there and find for herself a place of rest.

00:17:48There shall be the great owl.

00:17:49So we see that it's talking about an event where there's a lot of birds that are eating a lot of dead carcasses.

00:18:04Go to Revelation 19.

00:18:05And I'm sure at the time of Isaiah, people were kind of confused.

00:18:13They were looking for these events.

00:18:15And some of these events didn't happen.

00:18:17Now I'm sure there's a lot of dead bodies.

00:18:20You know, there's a lot of dead bodies.

00:18:21There's probably a lot of animals that are eating them.

00:18:24That, you know, God has made that way.

00:18:27Vultures, owls, these are kind of, they're predators.

00:18:33But they take dead bodies.

00:18:35A vulture won't eat anything live.

00:18:37It's got to be dead.

00:18:39There's other animals that do that.

00:18:41So look at Revelation 19 verse 11.

00:18:43And I saw heaven opened and behold a white horse.

00:18:45And he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True.

00:18:49And in righteousness he does judge and make war.

00:18:51His eyes were as a flame of fire.

00:18:53And on his head were many crowns.

00:18:55And he had a name written that no man knew but he himself.

00:18:58And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood.

00:19:01And his name is called the Word of God.

00:19:03And armies which were in heaven followed him upon white robes.

00:19:06Clothed in white linen, white and clean.

00:19:08And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword with it.

00:19:11He should smite the nations and shall rule them with a rod of iron.

00:19:15And he treadeth the winepress of fierceness of the wrath of Almighty God.

00:19:19And he had on his vesture and on his tie a name written.

00:19:23And king of kings and lord of lords.

00:19:25And I saw an angel standing in the sun.

00:19:27And he cried with a loud voice saying to all the fowls that are all flying in the midst of heaven.

00:19:32Come and gather yourselves unto the supper of the great God.

00:19:36That you may eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of captains.

00:19:39And the flesh of mighty men and the flesh of horses and them that sit on them.

00:19:44And the flesh of all men both free and bond both small and great.

00:19:48So what we see here is when Jesus Christ is third coming.

00:19:52If you've got to put a number on it.

00:19:53It's not a second coming.

00:19:54This is his third coming.

00:19:56When he comes when the armies of the heaven are with him.

00:20:00We will be with him.

00:20:02Behind him.

00:20:04We don't have to lift a finger.

00:20:06He does it all.

00:20:07And he kills every single person.

00:20:09It's at the battle of Armageddon.

00:20:10And when he does that all these birds eat the flesh of all these dead men.

00:20:15Then go to Jeremiah 46.

00:20:27Again we saw in that chapter.

00:20:29Talking about a future.

00:20:31The more future event.

00:20:32Way in the future.

00:20:33Then an event that was going to happen to the nation of Judah.

00:20:37And then a more future event.

00:20:38At the end times when the birds at the battle of Armageddon.

00:20:42Armageddon.

00:20:43Jeremiah 46 verse 10.

00:20:48For this is the day of the Lord God of hosts.

00:20:52A day of vengeance.

00:20:54That he may avenge him and his adversaries.

00:20:56And the sword shall devour.

00:20:58And it shall be satiated.

00:20:59And made drunk with their blood.

00:21:01For the Lord God of hosts.

00:21:02Have they sacrificed in the north country by the river Euphrates.

00:21:07Again this is probably the future.

00:21:09We know that Jeremiah when he was prophesying.

00:21:13It was at the time of the captivity.

00:21:16Right before the captivity.

00:21:18When it was going on.

00:21:20Isaiah was way further in the future than that.

00:21:23Jeremiah was closer to the time of captivity.

00:21:27When he's preaching and prophesying about it.

00:21:30Go up to Gilead and take balm of virgin the daughter of Egypt in vain.

00:21:35Thou shalt use medicines for thou shalt not be cured.

00:21:37So he's saying look.

00:21:38You're going to die of pestilence.

00:21:40There's going to be diseases.

00:21:42You're going to.

00:21:42You can take all the medicine you want.

00:21:44It doesn't matter.

00:21:44You're still going to die.

00:21:46The nations have heard of thy shame.

00:21:48And thy cry hath filled the land.

00:21:50For thy mighty man has stumbled against the mighty.

00:21:53And are fallen both together.

00:21:55The word of the Lord spake to Jeremiah the prophet.

00:22:01How Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon should come and smite the land of Egypt.

00:22:05Declare ye in Egypt.

00:22:06And publish in Migdal.

00:22:09And publish in Noph and Tappanese.

00:22:13Say ye stand fast and prepare thee for the sword shall devour round about thee.

00:22:18While thy valiant man swept away.

00:22:20Why stood not because the Lord did drive them.

00:22:26And he made many to fall.

00:22:27Yea one fell upon another.

00:22:29And they said arise and let us go again to our people.

00:22:32And to the land of our nativity.

00:22:34For the oppressing sword.

00:22:37So this is not something way in the future.

00:22:40This is what's going to happen to Egypt.

00:22:44What's going to happen to the nation of Judah also.

00:22:48When Nebuchadnezzar comes in there.

00:22:49So Nebuchadnezzar obviously he also took out Egypt also with the nation of Judah.

00:22:59The next one go to Lamentations chapter 2.

00:23:03So again what I'm trying to show you is that you've got to take it in context.

00:23:09You've got to look at what's being said.

00:23:11And if you want to know if it's going to be a future event.

00:23:14Like in the future for us.

00:23:16You've got to understand what it says in the New Testament.

00:23:22Lamentations 2.22

00:23:23That has caused it a solemn day.

00:23:30My terror is round about.

00:23:31So that in the day of the Lord's anger.

00:23:34None escape nor remain.

00:23:36Those that have swaddled and brought up have mine enemy consumed.

00:23:40So when you read this and you go up.

00:23:43Let's go to verse 15 and get the context of it.

00:23:46This could be talking about the Lord's anger at the end of the times.

00:23:50Or it could just be talking about the Lamentations as Jeremiah is writing this.

00:23:55Lamentations means he's crying and he's sad for his nation.

00:24:00The nation of Judah.

00:24:00Look at verse 15.

00:24:01All that pass by, clap their hands at thee.

00:24:05They hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem saying.

00:24:08Is this the city that men call?

00:24:10The perfection of the beauty, the joy of the whole earth?

00:24:13All thine enemies have opened their mouth against thee.

00:24:15They hiss and gnash the teeth.

00:24:17They say we have swallowed her up.

00:24:19Certainly this is the day that we look.

00:24:21For we have found.

00:24:22We have seen it.

00:24:24The Lord hath done that which he hath devised.

00:24:27He hath fulfilled his word that he had commanded in the days of the old.

00:24:32He hath thrown down and hath not pitied.

00:24:35So it's saying that this has already been fulfilled.

00:24:39So we know this is after the Babylonian captivity.

00:24:44We're not after the captivity because that's the Ezekiel.

00:24:47We know that the nation of Babylon has already come in and attacked the nation of Judah.

00:24:52They've already killed the people that would try to fight against them.

00:24:55Because God clearly told them if they come in, when they come in to take you, give up.

00:25:02Give up.

00:25:03Surrender.

00:25:04And I will take care of you.

00:25:06You'll be in captivity but I will take care of you.

00:25:08The ones that resisted, they were stabbed.

00:25:10They were killed with the sword.

00:25:12They got pestilences.

00:25:14They got diseases.

00:25:15So we know that this is what happened.

00:25:18Because he said what?

00:25:19Has fulfilled his word.

00:25:22Now go to Ezekiel 13.

00:25:24Ezekiel 13.

00:25:25Look at verse 1.

00:25:33So we know that Ezekiel is during the time of the captivity.

00:25:38And in the book of Daniel it is during the time of the captivity.

00:25:41And the word of the Lord came unto me saying, Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy.

00:25:49And say unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the Lord.

00:25:54Thus saith the Lord God, woe unto the foolish prophets that have followed their own spirit and have seen nothing.

00:26:00O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the desert.

00:26:05Ye have gone, not gone up in the gaps, neither made up the hedge of the house of Israel to stand in the battle on the day of the Lord.

00:26:13Go down to verse 9.

00:26:15And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity and that divine lies.

00:26:25They shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter the land of Israel.

00:26:33And ye shall know that I am the Lord God, because even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace, and there is no peace.

00:26:43And one built up a wall, and lo, others daubed it with untempered mortar, saying to them which daubed it with untempered mortar, that it shall fall.

00:26:54There shall be an overflowing shower, and ye shall, O great hailstones shall fall, and a stormy wind shall rend it.

00:27:00Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, where is the daubing which they have daubed it?

00:27:06So what it's talking about is untempered mortar.

00:27:10What does that mean?

00:27:11It's just talking about, you know, kind of like concrete or anything like that, not concrete, because it wasn't created then.

00:27:18But mortar that they would put used, they would temper it to make it stronger.

00:27:22They would put some kind of reinforcement in it, some kind of metal or something that would reinforce it.

00:27:28If they just took bricks and didn't do that, then the wall wasn't as strong.

00:27:35So they're thinking that they're okay, because they're saying peace and safety.

00:27:39Just like in the future event, they're going to say peace and safety when the Antichrist comes.

00:27:46But a long time ago, I actually wrote under verse 10, pre-trib rapture lie, because that's what they're going to say during the pre-trib, pre-tributation rapture.

00:27:57They're saying it now that, oh, well, Jesus, you know, he's not going to come.

00:28:03The Antichrist has already been.

00:28:05There's no Antichrist.

00:28:06Don't worry about it.

00:28:07That's what people are saying now, because they're going to tell you that there's peace, but there's not going to be any peace.

00:28:14When the Antichrist comes, there's not going to be a peace.

00:28:17We need to understand this, because people are going to be relaxed.

00:28:23They're going to be relaxed at a point in time where they're going to think, hey, there's nothing going to happen to us.

00:28:27We're good to go.

00:28:28Just like the nation of Judah, they thought that.

00:28:31They thought nothing can attack us.

00:28:33We got God on our side, which they did not have God on their side.

00:28:36God kept telling them, I'm going to punish you.

00:28:38I'm going to punish you.

00:28:39You're going to get punished.

00:28:41They did not believe them.

00:28:42We as Christians need to believe that God is telling us there's going to be something that happens.

00:28:48And when the Antichrist comes, you know, how do you know that you're not there?

00:28:52Because did you have to dodge bullets to get to church today?

00:28:56You did not.

00:28:56You did not have to dodge a weapon or a bomb or anything like that.

00:29:01There's going to be a war that's going to happen.

00:29:04And it's going to be bad.

00:29:05It's going to be a world war.

00:29:07And then that's when the peace and safety is going to come.

00:29:09All the nations are going to come together.

00:29:12You can read that in Revelation 6.

00:29:13That's what we see.

00:29:15So that's not happening anytime soon.

00:29:17But it could happen because we know that when things start to happen, just like I've told you, it's going to happen quickly.

00:29:24There's not going to be years and years that's going to start happening.

00:29:27And this is three and a half years of the tribulation.

00:29:30We know that.

00:29:31Go to Joel 1.

00:29:35Keep going to the right of your Bible.

00:29:37You go to Daniel, Jonah, Micah, Habakkuk.

00:29:41I think I passed it myself.

00:29:43Daniel, Hosea, and then Joel.

00:29:53So a lot of times these prophets, Daniel, Ezekiel, Joel, Zephaniah, Zechariah, you can always tell what the time is by reading the first verse.

00:30:17You know, they don't tell you the year or nothing like that, but they do tell you the time frame, who's in charge.

00:30:23They don't really do it in Joel, but you just have to know when it is.

00:30:27But some of them like Obadiah and Isaiah and Laman, they'll tell you so-and-so is the king of Judah.

00:30:33So-and-so is the king of Israel.

00:30:35And you can do that by going back to Chronicles or Kings and find out when that time is.

00:30:43Look at Joel 1.15.

00:30:47Alas, for the day, for the day of the Lord is at hand, and as the destruction of the Almighty shall come.

00:30:54So we're saying that, he's saying, alas, the day is coming.

00:30:57So we don't know from this, is he talking about a more future event, or is he talking about what's going to happen to the nation of Judah?

00:31:04Go down to Joel 2.1.

00:31:06Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound alarm in my holy mountain.

00:31:10Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand.

00:31:17So again, it could be a future event, but a more future event.

00:31:20Let's keep reading.

00:31:21And a day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains of great people and are strong.

00:31:29There hath not been ever the light, neither shall it be any more of it, even to the years of many generations.

00:31:36So now we know that in verse 2, it's probably talking about the more future event.

00:31:42Because we know that during the time, the great judgment of God, where he destroys the people of this world, it's never going to happen again.

00:31:50It's going to be a one-time event.

00:31:53A fire devoureth before them, and behind them is a flame burneth.

00:31:57The land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness.

00:32:03Yea, and nothing shall escape them.

00:32:07The appearance of them is the appearance of horses and a horseman.

00:32:11So shall they run, like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap,

00:32:15like the noise of a flame of fire.

00:32:19That devoureth the stubbles, the strong people sit in battle array.

00:32:23Before their face the people shall be much pained, all faces shall gather blackness.

00:32:28They shall run like mighty men.

00:32:30They shall climb the wall like men of war.

00:32:32They shall march every one on his ways,

00:32:35and they shall not break their ranks.

00:32:37Neither shall one thrust another.

00:32:39They shall walk every one in his path,

00:32:41and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.

00:32:44They shall not run to and fro in the city.

00:32:47They shall run upon the wall, and they shall climb upon the houses.

00:32:50They shall enter into windows like a thief.

00:32:52So, we're seeing an event where somebody gets stabbed and they're not wounded?

00:32:58Now, I don't know what that means.

00:33:00Is that some kind of robot in the future?

00:33:05Because, let's keep reading.

00:33:07We see that the event that Joel's talking about

00:33:10is where nobody can get away from these people.

00:33:13And they shall run to and fro in the city,

00:33:16and they shall run upon the wall,

00:33:19and they shall climb upon the houses.

00:33:22So, when you think about that,

00:33:24that's not a human being, folks.

00:33:25Nobody's climbing walls like some kind of spider monkey,

00:33:29but do they have some kind of device in the future?

00:33:32Is this something that Joel's seeing in the future like John does,

00:33:35and he can't explain it, that something's climbing up a wall?

00:33:38Could some kind of robot or artificial intelligence,

00:33:42some kind of robot?

00:33:43You know, I saw where there's other countries out there

00:33:47that have animals that are robots

00:33:49that are taking care of them,

00:33:52and that could be something like that.

00:33:53They could climb up a wall.

00:33:54Let's keep reading.

00:33:58Shall enter in at the windows like a thief.

00:34:01You know, is that some kind of a drone or something that we see?

00:34:05And it looks like it's climbing,

00:34:06but they don't know anything about flying.

00:34:09You know, I don't know.

00:34:10I'm telling, I'm just asking the question.

00:34:12The earth shall quake before them,

00:34:14the heavens shall tremble,

00:34:16and the sun and the moon shall be dark.

00:34:17So now we know it is a future event.

00:34:20We know that this is Revelation 6,

00:34:23at the sixth seal,

00:34:25when God makes the sun stop shining,

00:34:29and the heavens tremble,

00:34:30and the stars fall out like figs.

00:34:33And the Lord shall utter his voice

00:34:35before his army.

00:34:38For his camp is very great.

00:34:40For he is strong that executes his word.

00:34:42For the dead Lord is great and very terrible.

00:34:45Who can abide it?

00:34:47So now we see that it's talking about

00:34:50a more future event

00:34:51of where Jesus Christ,

00:34:53at the battle of Armageddon,

00:34:55or this could be even further in the future,

00:34:58when Satan's released

00:35:03after the thousand year reign of Christ,

00:35:08where he destroys everything.

00:35:10So we know this is a future event.

00:35:12We don't really know,

00:35:12but we know because the sun's going to be darkened

00:35:14and all these things,

00:35:15that this is the judgment of Christ

00:35:18at that time.

00:35:20Go down to verse 27.

00:35:22And you shall know that I am

00:35:26in the midst of Israel,

00:35:29and that I am the Lord your God,

00:35:31and none else,

00:35:32and my people shall never be ashamed.

00:35:35And it shall come to pass afterward

00:35:36that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh,

00:35:39and your sons and your daughters

00:35:42shall prophesy,

00:35:43your old men shall dream dreams,

00:35:45and your young men shall see visions,

00:35:47and also upon the servants

00:35:49and upon the handmaids in those days

00:35:51will I pour out my spirit,

00:35:53and I will show wonders in heaven,

00:35:55and the earth of blood and fire,

00:35:56and pillars of smoke.

00:35:58The sun shall be turned into darkness,

00:35:59and the moon into blood,

00:36:01before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.

00:36:03And it shall come to pass

00:36:05that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord

00:36:06shall be delivered,

00:36:08for in the Mount Zion in Jerusalem

00:36:10shall be deliverance,

00:36:12as the Lord has said,

00:36:13and the remnant for the Lord shall cast.

00:36:15So when you read this,

00:36:16you see several things going on,

00:36:18don't you?

00:36:18You see about Jesus Christ,

00:36:20His first coming,

00:36:21because it says that the nation of Zion

00:36:24and Jerusalem shall be deliverance.

00:36:26What is it talking about?

00:36:27It's talking about Jesus Christ's first coming.

00:36:30When He comes,

00:36:31and He becomes the,

00:36:34being crucified,

00:36:36but then in verse 30,

00:36:37what do you see?

00:36:38Blood and earth and fire

00:36:40and pillars of smoke.

00:36:41We see that in God's judgment.

00:36:43But then also we see,

00:36:44go to Acts 2.

00:36:45So I found this interesting

00:36:50because there's several things,

00:36:52talking about several events

00:36:53that are in the future.

00:36:56Some of them have already happened.

00:36:58Obviously the first coming of Christ

00:36:59has already happened.

00:37:00The death, burial, and resurrection

00:37:01has already happened.

00:37:02But in Acts 2,

00:37:03we see something else that's already happened.

00:37:08Look at Acts 2, verse 16.

00:37:10But this is that

00:37:17which was spoken by the prophet Joel.

00:37:19What is this?

00:37:20This is the day of Pentecost.

00:37:21This is 50 days

00:37:22after Christ was resurrected.

00:37:25And it shall come to pass

00:37:26in the last day,

00:37:27said God,

00:37:27I will pour out my spirit

00:37:28upon all flesh,

00:37:29and your sons and your daughters

00:37:31shall prophesy,

00:37:32and your young men

00:37:34shall see visions,

00:37:35and your old men

00:37:35shall see dreams.

00:37:36That's what we saw in Joel.

00:37:38And of my servants

00:37:39and of my handmaids

00:37:40I'll pour out in those days

00:37:41of my spirit,

00:37:42and they shall prophesy,

00:37:43and I'll show wonders in heaven

00:37:45above and signs in the earth beneath,

00:37:47blood and fire and vapor of smoke.

00:37:49The sun shall be turned into darkness

00:37:50and moon to blood

00:37:51before that day,

00:37:53great and notable day

00:37:54of the Lord come.

00:37:55And it shall come to pass

00:37:56that whosoever shall call upon

00:37:58the name of the Lord

00:37:58shall be saved.

00:37:59So we know that

00:38:00when Jesus Christ died on the cross,

00:38:02what happened?

00:38:03For three hours,

00:38:04there was no sun.

00:38:06There was no moon.

00:38:07Nothing.

00:38:07It was darkness.

00:38:09But we also know

00:38:10that in a future event,

00:38:12more future,

00:38:12that when Jesus comes

00:38:13at his second coming,

00:38:15that there will be,

00:38:17the stars will give no light,

00:38:19the moon is going to turn blood red,

00:38:21and the sun is not going to shine.

00:38:24So we know these things.

00:38:26That's what's great about Joel

00:38:27is there's a future event.

00:38:29Go to Joel 3.

00:38:33Keep your finger on Joel

00:38:34because we're going to go

00:38:35back and forth on Joel.

00:38:37Joel 3,

00:38:42verse 13.

00:38:48It says,

00:38:49Put ye in the sickle,

00:38:50for the harvest is ripe.

00:38:52Come,

00:38:52get you down,

00:38:53for the press is full,

00:38:55the fats overflow,

00:38:56for the wickedness is great.

00:38:58So a sickle is just a sharp instrument

00:39:00that they use to cut wheat.

00:39:01They use to cut wheat

00:39:03and they take the wheat

00:39:04and they grind it up

00:39:05on a millstone.

00:39:06These are the words you see

00:39:07in the Bible,

00:39:08millstone,

00:39:09sickle,

00:39:11wheat.

00:39:11When they cut the wheat

00:39:12then they have to shake out

00:39:14the chaff from the wheat.

00:39:16We know that the story

00:39:17of God separating the chaff

00:39:19from the wheat.

00:39:19So you take the wheat

00:39:21and you put it on a stone

00:39:23and you have an animal

00:39:24grind it into dust

00:39:26to make flour.

00:39:28That's how they made flour.

00:39:31But that's what it's talking about.

00:39:32Take the sickle

00:39:33and thrust it.

00:39:37Put ye in the sickle,

00:39:38multitudes,

00:39:39multitudes,

00:39:40in the valley of decision,

00:39:42for the day of the Lord

00:39:43is near

00:39:43in the valley of decision.

00:39:47And the sun and moon

00:39:48shall be darkened

00:39:49and the star

00:39:49shall withdraw her shining.

00:39:51The Lord also

00:39:52shall roar out of Zion,

00:39:53his utter voice

00:39:54from Jerusalem.

00:39:54And the heavens and the earth

00:39:56shall shake,

00:39:56but the Lord

00:39:57will be the hope

00:39:58of his people

00:39:59and the strength

00:39:59of his children of Israel.

00:40:01So shall you know

00:40:02that I am the Lord

00:40:03your God

00:40:04dwelling in Zion,

00:40:05my holy mountain.

00:40:06There shall no strangers

00:40:07pass through her anymore.

00:40:08Keep your finger there

00:40:09in Joel

00:40:09and go to Revelation 6.

00:40:15We're going to be

00:40:15going back and forth

00:40:16from Joel to Revelation.

00:40:17So we see again

00:40:20that it talks about

00:40:21the sun not giving us light.

00:40:23Look at Revelation 6, 12.

00:40:26Now, we were not there

00:40:28when the nation of Judah

00:40:30was being judged.

00:40:31Could the sun gone black?

00:40:33We don't know.

00:40:34But we know that there's

00:40:35a future event

00:40:36when it's talking about

00:40:37the whole earth

00:40:39being darkened

00:40:40that we know

00:40:41that is a future event

00:40:43of Jesus' second coming.

00:40:45Right before he comes

00:40:46in the clouds,

00:40:47he's getting people's attention.

00:40:48Look at Revelation 6, 12.

00:40:50For we wrestle

00:40:52in Ephesians.

00:40:55Revelation 6,

00:40:56this is the seven seals

00:40:59that we see.

00:41:03And I beheld

00:41:04and he had opened

00:41:04the sixth seal

00:41:05and there was a great earthquake.

00:41:08So the whole earth

00:41:09is quaking.

00:41:10We see now

00:41:10that there's earthquakes

00:41:11in California,

00:41:13in India,

00:41:14in all these places,

00:41:15but the whole earth

00:41:16is going to shake.

00:41:17God's going to shake

00:41:18the whole earth

00:41:19to get our attention.

00:41:21And the sun

00:41:22became black

00:41:23as sackcloth of hair.

00:41:25So if you had

00:41:25dark black hair

00:41:26and you put it

00:41:27in a sackcloth,

00:41:28that's how dark

00:41:28it would be,

00:41:29which is pretty dark.

00:41:31And the moon

00:41:32became as blood.

00:41:33So this is your blood moon.

00:41:35You keep talking,

00:41:35hear people talking

00:41:36about the blood moons,

00:41:37this,

00:41:37the blood moons,

00:41:38that folks,

00:41:39a lot of things

00:41:40have to happen before that.

00:41:42And the stars of heaven

00:41:43fell into the earth

00:41:44and as a fig tree

00:41:44cast their untimely figs.

00:41:46So if you went

00:41:46and shook a fig tree,

00:41:48and the figs fell out

00:41:49before they were ripe,

00:41:51because they will fall

00:41:52when they're ripe,

00:41:53that's what it's talking about.

00:41:54The shaking of a mighty wind.

00:41:56And the heaven

00:41:56departed as a scroll.

00:41:58And we've seen that already

00:41:59in some of these things.

00:42:00It's talking about

00:42:00the heaven departing

00:42:01as a scroll

00:42:01as it would roll together.

00:42:04So if you see the heaven

00:42:05just kind of folding back

00:42:07is what it's talking about.

00:42:08And every mountain

00:42:09and island were moved

00:42:10out of its place.

00:42:12So these are

00:42:13events

00:42:15that are supernatural

00:42:17for the heavens

00:42:19to roll out

00:42:20like a scroll.

00:42:21You may see clouds moving.

00:42:23But then for you

00:42:23to see mountains

00:42:24moving out of the way

00:42:25and rolling out.

00:42:27And the kings of the earth

00:42:28and the great men

00:42:29and rich men

00:42:30and the chief captains

00:42:31and the mighty men

00:42:32and every bond man

00:42:33and every free man

00:42:34hid themselves

00:42:35in the dens

00:42:36and in the rocks

00:42:37and the mountains.

00:42:38And they said

00:42:38in the mountains and rocks,

00:42:40fall on us

00:42:40and hide us

00:42:41from the face of him

00:42:42that sitteth on the throne

00:42:44talking about Jesus

00:42:45and talking about God the Father

00:42:47and from the wrath of the Lamb

00:42:50talking about Jesus

00:42:51for the great day

00:42:53of his wrath

00:42:53is come

00:42:54and who shall be able to stand.

00:42:55We keep constantly seeing that

00:42:57when it's talking about

00:42:58who can stand

00:42:59at his great day

00:43:00of his wrath.

00:43:01Go back to Joel

00:43:01chapter 3.

00:43:05Look at verse 18.

00:43:08And it shall come to pass

00:43:09in that day

00:43:10that the mountain

00:43:10shall drop down new wind

00:43:12and we see that

00:43:13that it's all about

00:43:13dropping down.

00:43:17And the rivers of Judah

00:43:18shall flow with waters

00:43:19and the mountains

00:43:20shall come forth

00:43:20out of the land

00:43:21Lord

00:43:22and shall water

00:43:23the valley of Shittim.

00:43:25Egypt shall be a desolation

00:43:27and Edom shall be

00:43:27a desolate wilderness

00:43:28for the violence

00:43:29against the children of Judah

00:43:30because they have shed

00:43:31innocent blood

00:43:32in their land.

00:43:33So again we see it

00:43:34going back to

00:43:34the nation of Judah itself.

00:43:37But go to Revelation 14.

00:43:39When we saw about

00:43:42the sickle

00:43:43look at verse 14

00:43:47of chapter 14

00:43:49of Revelation.

00:43:49Keep your finger in joy.

00:43:51And I looked and behold

00:43:52a white cloud

00:43:53and upon a cloud

00:43:54one sat like him

00:43:55upon the Son of Man.

00:43:56So that's

00:43:57obviously

00:43:58Jesus coming in the cloud.

00:44:00He's the Son of Man.

00:44:01He's called that

00:44:02over ninety-something times

00:44:03in the New Testament.

00:44:04And on his head

00:44:06a golden crown

00:44:07and in his hand

00:44:09a sharp sickle.

00:44:11And another angel

00:44:12came out of the temple

00:44:13saying out

00:44:14with a loud voice to him

00:44:15that sat on the cloud

00:44:16thrust in thy sickle

00:44:18and reap

00:44:19for the time has come

00:44:20for thee

00:44:21to reap

00:44:22for the harvest

00:44:22of the earth

00:44:23is ripe.

00:44:24And he sat on the cloud

00:44:25thrust in the sickle

00:44:27of the earth

00:44:27and the earth

00:44:28was reaped.

00:44:29And another angel

00:44:30came out of the temple

00:44:31which is in heaven

00:45:00even a horse

00:45:01bridles

00:45:02at a space

00:45:03of a thousand

00:45:03and six hundred

00:45:04furlongs.

00:45:05Which is

00:45:06two hundred miles.

00:45:08So the Bible

00:45:10is explaining

00:45:10a situation

00:45:12of when Jesus

00:45:12comes

00:45:13and his second

00:45:13coming

00:45:14that the angels

00:45:16are going to

00:45:16the rapture

00:45:18is going to be

00:45:19like taking a sickle

00:45:20and taking the good

00:45:22the saved people

00:45:23out

00:45:24and leaving

00:45:25the chaff.

00:45:27The chaff

00:45:27is no good.

00:45:28The weed is good.

00:45:29The chaff

00:45:29is no good.

00:45:30They burn the chaff.

00:45:32And that's what

00:45:32it's describing.

00:45:33So in the book

00:45:34of Joel

00:45:35he's talking

00:45:36about that

00:45:36talking about

00:45:37a sickle

00:45:37that the Lord

00:45:38is going to

00:45:38do that.

00:45:39But also

00:45:40he's talking

00:45:40about the future

00:45:42event

00:45:42so it goes

00:45:44back and forth

00:45:45go to Revelation

00:45:49something about

00:45:50the

00:45:51that the mountains

00:45:58are going to

00:45:59happen in the future.

00:46:16So the lamb

00:46:17is Jesus Christ

00:46:18we know that

00:46:19he's the

00:46:19groomsman

00:46:20he's the one

00:46:24being married

00:46:25and he's going

00:46:25to be married

00:46:26to the wife

00:46:28and who is that

00:46:29and he carried me

00:46:30away in the spirit

00:46:31and the great

00:46:31high mountain

00:46:32and showed me

00:46:33that great city

00:46:34the holy Jerusalem

00:46:35descending out of

00:46:35the heaven of God

00:46:36the heaven from God

00:46:38having the glory of God

00:46:39and her light

00:46:39was like a stone

00:46:41precious

00:46:42even like a

00:46:43jasper stone.

00:46:44So we see that

00:46:45the new Jerusalem

00:46:47sometimes when it's

00:46:48talking about Jerusalem

00:46:49being in Jerusalem

00:46:51and not having to

00:46:51worry about battle

00:46:52and all the believers

00:46:54being there

00:46:54this is the new Jerusalem.
