00:00:00So the title of the sermon is The Olive Tree, The Olive Tree.
00:00:05So I want to show you different things what the olive tree represents.
00:00:08Go all the way back to Genesis 7.
00:00:11The first thing, there's three things that the olive tree represents in the Bible.
00:00:16The first thing is it represents peace.
00:00:19Peace.
00:00:21So Genesis 7, this is right after God destroys every breath living,
00:00:27or every living thing that breathes breath.
00:00:30On the earth with a flood.
00:00:32It rained 40 days and 40 nights.
00:00:36And destroyed everything that breathed air in their nostrils.
00:00:41Look at Genesis 7, 24.
00:00:44And the water prevailed upon the earth 150 days.
00:00:48So there's water on the earth.
00:00:50Even though it rained 40 days and 40 nights,
00:00:53there's water that they're having to sit in the ark for 150 days.
00:00:57Go down to chapter 8, verse 3.
00:01:01And the water returned from off the earth continually,
00:01:04and after the end of the 150 days, the water were abated.
00:01:07So after 150 days of them being in the ark,
00:01:10the water abated or went down to the point where they could do something.
00:01:15Go down to verse 6 in chapter 8.
00:01:17And it came past at the end of the 40 days that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made.
00:01:23He sent forth a raven which went forth to and fro until the waters were dried up from off the earth.
00:01:32He also sent forth a dove from him to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground.
00:01:37So he sends out a raven and a dove.
00:01:39But the dove found no rest for her sole of her foot,
00:01:42and she returned unto him and to the ark.
00:01:46For the waters were on the face of the whole earth.
00:01:48Then he put forth his hand and took her and pulled her unto him into the ark.
00:01:53So he sends out a dove.
00:01:54The dove can't find any place to land.
00:01:56So the dove comes back and Noah brings him back into the ark.
00:02:00Or he, she, whatever the dove was.
00:02:03And he stayed yet another seven days.
00:02:06So it's seven days longer.
00:02:07And again he sent forth the dove out of the ark.
00:02:10And the dove came in to him in the evening.
00:02:13And lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf plucked off.
00:02:17So Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.
00:02:20So obviously there was enough time for an olive branch or olive tree to grow enough
00:02:25to have an olive leaf for him, for the dove to take it off.
00:02:30And he stayed yet another seven days and set forth the dove,
00:02:33which returned not again unto him anymore.
00:02:35And it passed the 600th and first year.
00:02:38And in the first month of the first day of the month,
00:02:40the waters were dried up from off the earth.
00:02:42And Noah removed the covering of the ark and looked.
00:02:45And behold, the face of the earth and the ground was dry.
00:02:49So he sent the dove out, couldn't find anything.
00:02:52The dove came back, the dove left off again, brought back an olive branch.
00:02:57The third time the dove goes out, it doesn't come back.
00:03:00So he realizes there's some place for the dove to land on, to live.
00:03:06This is, you know, you hear people say to bring peace to another person,
00:03:11that they're arguing or something, to present an olive branch.
00:03:15That's what that means.
00:03:16The next thing the olive tree represents is light.
00:03:20Go to Exodus 27.
00:03:23Now you hear people say stuff about the old man of, you know,
00:03:33cavemen days and stuff that they didn't know how to start a fire
00:03:37and they didn't know how to do this.
00:03:38And they've got these weird looking heads and all that stuff.
00:03:42Folks, it's just not true.
00:03:43It's just stupidity of the devil.
00:03:45I believe all the way back in the Garden of Eden, the first animal that they killed,
00:03:50that God killed to make skins of animal skins when they're trying to hide themselves
00:03:56with the branches, with the fig leaves, that God cooked that animal for them.
00:04:02And he showed them how to cook.
00:04:04And he showed them what fire.
00:04:05He showed them how to take flint and strike it on a rock or whatever.
00:04:08I don't know.
00:04:09The Bible doesn't tell us that.
00:04:10But this goofballness that they didn't know how to cook stuff,
00:04:14they didn't know fire, I just don't believe it.
00:04:16I just don't believe it at all.
00:04:17It's just the lies of the devil because he didn't want to believe.
00:04:20He doesn't want to believe that there's somebody controlling us
00:04:22and it's God who created everything.
00:04:25But Exodus 27 verse 20, this is where the olive oil, this is where it's important
00:04:32that they grew olive trees, they took the olives that you may eat on a pizza or whatever
00:04:39and they crushed them up and they took that oil and they made light out of it.
00:04:42They made lamps.
00:04:43Look at Exodus 27 verse 20.
00:04:46This is when God's instructing Moses how to make the tabernacle just like the tabernacle is in heaven.
00:04:54He's telling him how to do it.
00:04:56And he tells them in verse 20,
00:04:57So you understand there's a veil between the holies of holies,
00:05:26which when Jesus Christ died on the cross, that was split in two.
00:05:30He said when that veil is taken away and the veil's not there,
00:05:34that that lamp should be burning the whole time to represent light.
00:05:40Go to Leviticus 24 to see another situation on that.
00:05:44So they took the olives, they crushed them and made the juice that the olives made
00:05:51is what they would burn for light to lamp.
00:05:56You know, you have a lamp and you may have some kind of oil or something
00:05:59that burns in a lamp or a lantern and that's what they're doing.
00:06:04Leviticus 24 verse 1,
00:06:06So obviously it has to be pure.
00:06:16It has to be purified somehow that, you know, I don't know how it is,
00:06:20beaten for the light to cause the lamps to burn continually.
00:06:25Because you can't put a candle and burn it continually.
00:06:29Somebody would have to do that.
00:06:30But with a lantern, with oil, you can do that.
00:06:34Without the veil of the testimony in the tabernacle of the congregation
00:06:37shall err and order it from the evening into the morning
00:06:40before the Lord continually.
00:06:42It should be a statute forever in your generations.
00:06:44He shall order the lamps upon the pure candlestick before the Lord continually.
00:06:49So if you don't know how the lantern works,
00:06:53there's like a bowl at the bottom and there's some kind of liquid.
00:06:58This would be olive oil and there's a wick of some kind of cotton or whatever material
00:07:03and that you would take that material and you would soak it in that oil
00:07:07and as it burns, you just kind of roll it up.
00:07:10That's what kind of happens.
00:07:12Or, you know, so they would use olive oil.
00:07:15We would use something like lamp oil or whatever.
00:07:20I can't think of the name of it right now.
00:07:22The next thing that the olive tree represents is God's presence.
00:07:26Go to 1 Samuel.
00:07:291 Samuel.
00:07:32So there's three things.
00:07:33Peace, light.
00:07:36They take the olive and beat it into olive oil that they use for a lamp.
00:07:42And the next thing is God's presence.
00:07:451 Samuel 10, verse 1.
00:07:58Now, if you remember what happens here,
00:08:00Samuel says, no, the Lord's going to be your king.
00:08:03And they say, no, we don't want, we want a king like all the other nations.
00:08:07And Samuel's sad about it because he's a prophet.
00:08:10And God says, do it anyway.
00:08:14So look at 1 Samuel 10, verse 1.
00:08:16Then Samuel took a vial of oil and poured it upon his head.
00:08:20This is Saul.
00:08:21King Saul, the first king of Israel.
00:08:23And kissed him and said,
00:08:24It is not because the Lord hath anointed thee to be captain over his inheritance.
00:08:29Go down.
00:08:31Now go to 1 John 2.
00:08:33Go to 1 John 2.
00:08:351 John 2.
00:08:46If you remember when we went through the book of 1 John, you may not, it was a while back.
00:08:51Look at 1 John 2, verse, excuse me, 24.
00:08:55Let therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning, and that which ye have heard from the beginning, ye shall remain in you.
00:09:05Ye also shall continue in the Son and in the Father.
00:09:10And this is the promise that he has promised us, even eternal life.
00:09:14These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.
00:09:17But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you, but as the same anointing teaching you of all things and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it is taught you, you should abide in him.
00:09:36So what he's saying is the same thing inside of you, which is the Holy Spirit.
00:09:40That's the idea of the anointing of King Saul, King David.
00:09:45They would anoint a priest.
00:09:46They anointed Aaron with oil.
00:09:48The idea is the anointing is the Holy Spirit or God's presence.
00:09:53Well, we don't do that anymore.
00:09:55The anointing is inside of us.
00:09:57It's called the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit is one that teaches us the things of the Bible.
00:10:03That's what the idea is.
00:10:04So these three things are the things that God represents to the olive tree.
00:10:11Now, go to Zechariah chapter 4.
00:10:17That was just to lay down the groundwork of what we're going to be talking about.
00:10:21We're going to be talking about the two witnesses, or known as the two olive trees, in Revelation, but it's in Zechariah, and they talk about them in Malachi as well.
00:10:31We're just going to read what the Bible says.
00:10:36This is all the way in Zechariah.
00:10:37If you remember in the book of Zechariah, this is when they are finishing the temple, finishing the second temple, and rebuilding Jerusalem, basically, after it was destroyed.
00:10:52This is during Zechariah chapter 4 is where we're at.
00:10:58This is during the second year of Darius.
00:11:02He is the king.
00:11:04So they're still under the bondage, but Darius, he allows him to rebuild the temple.
00:11:11Look at chapter 4, verse 1.
00:11:13So he's having a vision or a dream, but it's like he's walking with the angel.
00:11:29I don't know if you've had a dream that you thought was so real.
00:11:32You woke up and you thought, thanks, I've done it.
00:11:34I thought something was attacking me one time.
00:11:37Woke up, grabbed a gun, was walking around the house, freaking everybody out.
00:11:41Nothing was trying to get me.
00:11:44And everybody looked at me like I was crazy.
00:11:46And said unto me, what seest thou?
00:11:48And I said, I have looked.
00:11:49And behold, a candlestick, olive gold, and a bowl upon the top of it, and the seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes and the seven lamps which are upon the top thereof.
00:12:00And the two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other on the left side.
00:12:06So if you take the vision of it, what he's telling him, there's candlestick, and it's got the seven lamps, or seven candlesticks come out of it.
00:12:15So it's kind of like there's a bowl at the bottom, and the oil is feeding these seven lamps.
00:12:20That's where you see the Jewish seven lamps.
00:12:23That's where they come from.
00:12:26Verse 4.
00:12:27So I answered and spake unto the angel that taught with me, saying, what are these, my Lord?
00:12:32And the angel that taught with me answered and said unto me, knowest thou not what these be?
00:12:39And I said, no, my Lord.
00:12:41Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, this is the word of the Lord unto the Zerubbabel, saying, not by might, nor by power, nor by my spirit, said the Lord of hosts.
00:12:52So the light is representing the word of God.
00:12:56That's what these lanterns are.
00:12:58Who art thou, O great mountain, before Zerubbabel?
00:13:01Thou shalt become a plain, and he shall bring forth the headstone, and thereof with shoutings, crying, grace, grace unto thee.
00:13:08More of the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, the hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house.
00:13:14This is talking about the second temple.
00:13:18His hand shall also finish it, and thou shalt know that the Lord of the hosts hath sent unto me you.
00:13:25For he hath despised the day of small things, for they shall rejoice and see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel.
00:13:31With those seven, they are the eyes of the Lord, which shall run to and fro from the old earth.
00:13:37Look at verse 11.
00:13:38Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees?
00:13:42So remember, there's the lantern, and there's an olive tree on the left, and an olive tree on the right.
00:13:48And upon the right side, and upon the left side thereof.
00:13:51And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches, which through the two golden pipes emptied the golden oil out of themselves?
00:14:02So he's seeing these two olive trees, and apparently there's like pipes that go from the olive tree to there, and it's like they're being fed by these olive trees.
00:14:13That's what the vision is.
00:14:15And he answered me and said, Know thou not what these be?
00:14:17I said, No, my Lord, and said he, These are the two anointed ones that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.
00:14:27So he's saying these are the two people, anointed ones, anointed with the Holy Spirit, that are what?
00:14:34They are standing before the whole world.
00:14:40So the first thing I want you to know is that there's seven golden candlesticks.
00:14:43Where does this come?
00:14:43Go to Revelation chapter 1.
00:14:47We talked about the seven golden candlesticks, and look, the Jews call it a menorah, whatever.
00:14:53They don't believe the New Testament, but that's what they call it.
00:14:58I think that's what they call it.
00:14:59I don't know Jewish stuff because I don't get in their garbage.
00:15:03But I do know they worship these golden, these seven candlesticks.
00:15:08That's one of their Jewish symbols.
00:15:10So look at Revelation 1.12.
00:15:11We'll see where we see this in the Bible, God's Word.
00:15:16This is where John, he's in the Isle of Patmos, and he sees Jesus Christ.
00:15:21And he says, I turned to see the voice that spake with me.
00:15:25And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks.
00:15:27And in the midst of the seven candlesticks, one likened to the sound of man.
00:15:31So you see the seven golden candlesticks, and Jesus, which is the Son of Man, clothed with
00:15:37a garment, down to the foot, girded about the paths with a golden girdle.
00:15:40His head and his hairs were white with wool, and as white as snow, and his eyes were as
00:15:44a flame of fire, and his feet like in a fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace.
00:15:49And his voice is the sound of many waters.
00:15:51And he had in his right hand seven stars, and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword,
00:15:57and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
00:16:00And when he saw him, he fell at his feet, I'm sorry, I fell at his feet, as dead, and
00:16:06he laid his right hand upon me, saying, Fear not, I am the first and the last.
00:16:10I am he that liveth and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore.
00:16:15Amen.
00:16:15And have the keys of hell and of death.
00:16:18Write these things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which
00:16:22shall be hereafter.
00:16:23The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden
00:16:28candlesticks, the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven candlesticks
00:16:34which thou sawest are the seven churches.
00:16:37So these are not periods of time.
00:16:39The seven stars are the pastors, which I think are the angels over these churches, that you
00:16:46can read in Revelation 2 and 3, and the seven candlesticks are the churches themselves,
00:16:51which are, we're supposed to be the light of the world.
00:16:56Now the two olive trees go to Revelation 11.
00:17:00This is what you'll find about these two olive trees, or what's known as the two witnesses.
00:17:05Now, you can look off on the internet, and I did just to see what people would say.
00:17:09And most of them said that the two witnesses come after the rapture, before the tribulation.
00:17:16And that is kind of true, but it's not the tribulation, it's the wrath of God.
00:17:24That's where they get it wrong, because they're obviously pre-tributors, and they think that
00:17:27that's going to happen.
00:17:28Let me show you that.
00:17:28Look at Revelation 11, 1.
00:17:31And there it was given me a re like unto a rod, and the angel stood, saying,
00:17:37Rise and measure the temple of God and the altar, and then that worship therein.
00:17:42But the court which is without the temple, leave out and measure it not, for it is given
00:17:47unto the Gentiles and the holy city.
00:17:50Shall they tread underfoot forty and two months, which is forty-two months, 1,260 days.
00:17:58And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy 1,200 threescore days
00:18:08clothed in sackcloth.
00:18:09So 1,260 days, it's going to be clothed in sackcloth.
00:18:13These are the two olive trees and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
00:18:19We saw that in what?
00:18:21Zechariah 4.
00:18:22He clearly said those same words.
00:18:24And if any man will hurt them, we'll get to that in a minute.
00:18:31No, I'm sorry.
00:18:32And if any man will hurt them, the fire precedeth out of their mouth and devoureth their enemies.
00:18:38And if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
00:18:42So anybody that tries to hurt either one of these witnesses, fire's going to come out of
00:18:46their mouth, they're just going to die.
00:18:47These have power to shut heaven, and it rain not in the days of their prophecy, and have
00:18:54power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues as often
00:19:01as they will.
00:19:04So let's just look at some of the attributes of the two olive trees.
00:19:08First, we see in the first part, they're going to be clothed in sackcloth.
00:19:11What does that mean?
00:19:12They're going to be humble.
00:19:13They're going to be humble people.
00:19:16If you remember, Moses, and we're going to see a verse in a minute, he is the most meek
00:19:21man on the earth at that time.
00:19:27Fire will proceed out of their mouth.
00:19:29That's what the next thing.
00:19:30If anybody tries to kill them, fire's going to proceed out of their mouth.
00:19:33They have the power to shut off the rain.
00:19:35It's not going to rain.
00:19:37They have, well, let's go on down, and we'll see what else.
00:19:42And when they shall have finished the testimony, the beast that ascended out of the barn's pen
00:19:46shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
00:19:51So they're going to die.
00:19:52They have the power to what?
00:19:54To turn water into blood.
00:19:56Doesn't that sound familiar?
00:19:58They have the power to smite the earth with other plagues.
00:20:02So look on down, and what's going to happen is they're going to die.
00:20:07And who's going to kill them?
00:20:07The beast that ascended out of Obama's pit, which is the Antichrist, shall overcome them,
00:20:12and they will die.
00:20:13And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called
00:20:20Sodom and Egypt.
00:20:22So anybody who tells you they want to go to Jerusalem, it's called Sodom and Egypt.
00:20:28Why?
00:20:29Because it's a wicked city where also the Lord was crucified.
00:20:32Was that not Jerusalem?
00:20:34So anybody who tells you they want to go to the holy city with a Bible right here in Revelation
00:20:38tells you it's not a holy city.
00:20:41Yes, Jesus was crucified there.
00:20:43But it's Jerusalem, so anybody wanting to go to the holy land, they better watch out
00:20:49because when this starts happening, it's not going to be a nice place.
00:20:52Because this is where the two witnesses are going to die.
00:20:54This is where they're going to be at.
00:20:55We also know that Jerusalem is where the Antichrist is going to rule and reign.
00:21:00And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three
00:21:05days and a half for it.
00:21:06So three and a half days, their bodies are just going to be left out there.
00:21:11People are going to be taking selfies with them.
00:21:13You know, I saw listening to people talk about the Pope and when the Pope died, they're taking
00:21:19selfies with the dead Pope and just weird stuff, folks.
00:21:23That's the world we live in.
00:21:25That's what they're going to be doing here.
00:21:26Taking pictures with these dead witnesses to people that are dead.
00:21:30You know, shall rejoice over them and make merry and shall send gifts one another.
00:21:37They're going to send gifts because these people are dead.
00:21:40Why?
00:21:40Because they don't realize that God's doing all these things.
00:21:43God's bringing all these plagues and problems.
00:21:47You know, the seven trumpets, the seven vows that we talked about years ago when we talked
00:21:52about revelation.
00:21:53This is God bringing them on.
00:21:55They think these two people are doing them.
00:21:57Now, that's going to be doing them, but it's going to be God that's really doing them.
00:22:02And they that dwell on earth shall rejoice over them and make merry and send gifts to one
00:22:05to another because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
00:22:10And after three days and a half, the spirit of life from God entered into them and they
00:22:16stood upon their feet and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
00:22:20So they're never going to be buried.
00:22:21They're just going to be sitting on the side of the street in Jerusalem.
00:22:23And all of a sudden, the spirit of God's going to pick them up.
00:22:26They're going to stand up.
00:22:27What's going to happen?
00:22:28They're going to be resurrected.
00:22:29And they heard a great voyage from heaven saying unto them, come up hither.
00:22:33And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud and their enemies beheld them.
00:22:38And that same hour was a great earthquake and the 10th part of the city fell as Jerusalem.
00:22:42And the earthquake were slain to men, 7,000.
00:22:46And the remnant were frightened and gave glory to the God of heaven.
00:22:51So we see several things.
00:22:53They're also going to be ascended into a cloud.
00:22:55That's what we see.
00:22:56They're going to die and they're going to be ascended.
00:22:58So who are these two witnesses?
00:23:00Well, you may remember from it.
00:23:03I believe without a shadow of a doubt, it's Moses and Elijah.
00:23:09And I'm going to give you 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 reasons why that.
00:23:15The first thing is that Moses, Elijah, and Jesus are the only people recorded in the Bible that have had a 40-day fast.
00:23:23Good Exodus chapter 34.
00:23:28It's interesting when you read the Bible, you kind of glaze over stuff.
00:23:33I knew that Elijah had a 40-day fast.
00:23:35I knew that Jesus did, but it never dawned on me that Moses did too.
00:23:41And if you read real carefully, you'll see that.
00:23:45When he's up in Mount Sinai getting the Ten Commandments a second time, what happens?
00:23:53Look at Exodus 34, verse 27.
00:23:56And the Lord said unto Moses, Write thou these words, for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.
00:24:08And he was there with the Lord 40 days and 40 nights.
00:24:13He did neither eat bread nor drink water, and wrote upon the tables of the words of the covenant and the Ten Commandments.
00:24:19Now folks, this is a miracle, because a human body cannot go, it can go 40 days without food, but it cannot go 40 days without water.
00:24:30In fact, the things, the threes, they say that you cannot go three hours without, I mean three minutes without air.
00:24:37You cannot go, let me see if I can remember, I think it's three days without water, and it's three months without shelter.
00:24:49But food, you can fast that long.
00:24:52But water, you can't.
00:24:53Your body just not, your body's 70% water, if you didn't know that.
00:24:58And you have to have water to read.
00:25:00So this is a miracle of God that he was able to do this.
00:25:03Go to 1 Kings 19.
00:25:06So that was Moses.
00:25:07He, 40 days and 40 nights without food and water.
00:25:12Which is pretty amazing in itself.
00:25:14Again, God created the body.
00:25:16He's the only one that can do that.
00:25:19But I guess when you're with the Lord up in the mountain, getting the tabernacle, I mean getting the Ten Commandments,
00:25:24he can do whatever he wants to make you sustain your life.
00:25:27So in 1 Kings 19, we see Elijah, verse 1,
00:25:32And Ahab took Jezebel, all that Elijah had done, told Jezebel.
00:25:37So he basically killed all the bad people, all the prophets of Jezebel, which was Satan worshipers.
00:25:45And slain all the prophets with the sword, then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying,
00:25:50And so let the gods do to me, and more also, if I may not thy life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time.
00:25:59He's saying, look, let me die if I don't kill Elijah.
00:26:02And when he saw that, he arose and went for his life and came to Beersheba, which belonged to Judah, and left his servant there.
00:26:10But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree.
00:26:16And he requested for himself that he might die, and said,
00:26:20It is enough now, O Lord, take away my life, for I am not better than my father's.
00:26:26He's basically feeling sorry for himself.
00:26:28He's saying, look, go and kill me.
00:26:30I'm not good.
00:26:31I'm not any better than my father's.
00:26:33And he lay and slept under a juniper tree.
00:26:34Behold, an angel touched him, and said, Arise and eat.
00:26:38And he looked, and behold, there was a cake baking of the coals, and a cruise of water at his head.
00:26:43And he did eat and drink, and laid him down again.
00:26:46And the angel of the Lord came again a second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat, because the journey is too great for thee.
00:26:53And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat, 40 days and 40 nights, until Horeb of the Mount of God.
00:27:02So, the angel, first it's a miracle that the angel just, he's sitting there in the middle of the desert, in the wilderness.
00:27:09And the angel comes, cooks him something to eat, gives him a cruise of water, and then he says,
00:27:13No, got to do it again, because you got a long journey ahead of you.
00:27:17And he did it for 40 days and 40 nights.
00:27:20Go to Matthew 4.
00:27:22We see what Jesus did this.
00:27:25Matthew 4, verse 1.
00:27:26Then was Jesus led up by the spirit in the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
00:27:30And when he had fasted 40 days and 40 nights, he was afterwards unhungered.
00:27:35So, 40 days and 40 nights, Moses and Elijah and Jesus, these are the only three people in the Bible that have ever been recorded to do that.
00:27:44The next thing is, one of the things we saw, one of the miracles, or plagues if you want to call them, is water to blood.
00:27:52Well, guess who done that?
00:27:53Moses.
00:27:53Go to Exodus 7.
00:27:54Exodus 7.
00:28:00Can you keep your finger in Revelation, because we're going to go from Exodus 7 to Revelation, or Old Testament to Revelation.
00:28:09Remember the plagues?
00:28:11Moses is trying to bring out the children of Israel, the Hebrews' children.
00:28:18Out of bondage from Egypt.
00:28:22And one of the plagues is, he turns the river into what?
00:28:29Blood.
00:28:30Well, isn't that what they said?
00:28:31It's one of the things we're turning water to blood.
00:28:33Look at Exodus 7, verse 20.
00:28:37Exodus 7, verse 20.
00:28:39Now, we know that the Lord's really doing this, but it's by Moses' action, by lifting up the rod, is why it happens at the exact time.
00:28:54And smoked the waters, and were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of the servants.
00:28:59And all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood.
00:29:04And the fish that was in the river died.
00:29:06Why?
00:29:06Because they can't live in blood.
00:29:08They can live in water, but they can't live in blood.
00:29:10There's not enough, there's too much stuff in it.
00:29:14And the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink of the water of the river.
00:29:18And there was blood throughout the land of Egypt.
00:29:20And the magicians of Egypt did so with their enchantments.
00:29:23And Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and neither did he hearken unto them, as the Lord had said.
00:29:29And the Pharaoh turned and went into the house, and did set his heart to this also.
00:29:33The magicians digged around about the river to drink, for they could not drink of the waters of the river.
00:29:42And seven days were fulfilled.
00:29:43After that, the Lord had smitten the river.
00:29:46Keep your finger there and go to Revelation 16.
00:29:53Revelation 16.
00:29:56Now just to put this in context, if you don't remember the order of things,
00:30:01the tribulation will begin in Revelation 6-1, where Jesus opens up the seven seals,
00:30:09and he opens up the first seal.
00:30:11The first seal is the Antichrist doing whatever.
00:30:15We won't know who that is.
00:30:16That could be in some kind of dark room or whatever.
00:30:19But we do know that something's going to happen.
00:30:21He's going to take peace from the earth.
00:30:25There's going to be a time where people are going to fight each other.
00:30:29There's going to be famines.
00:30:30People are going to be dying.
00:30:31And this is going to happen during the tribulation.
00:30:33We will still be here.
00:30:34And then there's a time where there's a great tribulation, about 75, 76 days,
00:30:40where the Antichrist takes power, and he's taking war with the saints.
00:30:45He's killing Christians.
00:30:46And then after that time, Jesus will come in the clouds and rapture us.
00:30:51And then we'll become, what, the next time, not a tribulation,
00:30:55because this is going to be God's wrath on the earth.
00:30:58We will not be here.
00:31:00We will not be here.
00:31:01Make sure you understand these wordings, because you look up stuff,
00:31:05and people talk about the tribulation.
00:31:07We will be here for the tribulation.
00:31:09We will be here for the great tribulation,
00:31:11if you want to be here until Jesus comes in the clouds.
00:31:14Now, you may die before then, because there will be people to die,
00:31:18because there's going to be a lot of war.
00:31:19There's going to be bombs falling.
00:31:20There's going to be battles.
00:31:21There's going to be all this stuff.
00:31:23People are going to die of famine and diseases.
00:31:26But look at Revelation 16,
00:31:28and we'll see some of the...
00:31:32So, during the God's wrath,
00:31:35at the second half, for the last three and a half years,
00:31:39we see what's called the seven trumpets and the seven vials.
00:31:43It's what God is doing to the earth,
00:31:46because of man's sin.
00:31:49Look at Revelation 16, verse 3.
00:31:52And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea,
00:31:55and it became as the blood of a dead man,
00:31:58and every living soul died in the sea.
00:32:00So, you see the sea,
00:32:03the angel's taking that vial,
00:32:05and he's pouring the plague on it,
00:32:08and it's turning into what?
00:32:09Blood of a dead man.
00:32:12And everything in there's dying.
00:32:14So, nobody's eating crabs and lobsters or anything,
00:32:17because they're dead.
00:32:18And look at verse 4.
00:32:19And the angel poured out his vial,
00:32:21this is the third vial,
00:32:22upon the rivers and the fountains of waters.
00:32:24So, all the rivers and waters and fountains and lakes
00:32:28became blood.
00:32:29And I heard the angel of the waters say,
00:32:32Thou art righteous, O Lord,
00:32:34which art and wast and what shalt be,
00:32:37because thou hast judged us.
00:32:39And they have shed the blood of saints and prophets,
00:32:42and has given them blood to drink,
00:32:44for they are worthy.
00:32:45And I heard another out of the altars say,
00:32:49Even so, Lord God Almighty,
00:32:51true and righteous,
00:32:52they are thy judgment.
00:32:54So, God's given them blood to drink.
00:32:56Why?
00:32:56Because he killed all these prophets and saints
00:32:59and Christians and believers.
00:33:00And he's saying,
00:33:01Look, you want blood?
00:33:02Here you go.
00:33:03Have it to drink.
00:33:04Now, folks,
00:33:05you cannot live off of drinking blood.
00:33:07You cannot do that.
00:33:08In fact,
00:33:09God completely tells you not to do that.
00:33:11But he does that just to show people
00:33:13that they've done wrong.
00:33:15So, one of the things that we see Moses doing
00:33:18is what?
00:33:18He's turning water into blood
00:33:20in the Old Testament.
00:33:23He also said,
00:33:25We'll smite the earth with other plagues.
00:33:28And you can read in Revelation,
00:33:30I'm sorry,
00:33:31Exodus,
00:33:32where he turns,
00:33:33he makes frogs appear,
00:33:36lice,
00:33:37hail,
00:33:38locusts,
00:33:38bowls,
00:33:39which is sores on their body,
00:33:42and hail.
00:33:44Well, let me show you that.
00:33:45Revelation 9.
00:33:47Revelation chapter 9.
00:33:49You can look through Exodus 7, 8, 9, 10, 11.
00:33:52It'll show you all that stuff.
00:33:57But to be brief,
00:33:58because we'll run out of time,
00:33:59let me just show you what the Bible says.
00:34:02Revelation 9 verse 1.
00:34:07This is the fifth trumpet.
00:34:08So, you've got the trumpet and the vials,
00:34:10and they run congruent.
00:34:13You've got the first trumpet,
00:34:14the first vial.
00:34:15The second trumpet,
00:34:16the second vial.
00:34:18And the fifth angel sounded,
00:34:20and I saw a star fall from heaven
00:34:22unto the earth,
00:34:23and to him was given the key
00:34:24of the bottomless pit.
00:34:27And he opened the bottomless pit,
00:34:29and there rose a smoke out of the pit,
00:34:31as the smoke of a great furnace,
00:34:33and the sun and the air
00:34:34were darkened by reason
00:34:35of the smoke of the pit,
00:34:36and there came out of the smoke,
00:34:38locusts upon the earth.
00:34:40Now, that's one of the plagues
00:34:41that Moses did.
00:34:42It was what?
00:34:43Locusts.
00:34:45And unto them was given power
00:34:47and scorpions
00:34:49of the earth
00:34:50and power.
00:34:52Now, the other day,
00:34:53I just found a scorpion
00:34:54on the ground,
00:34:54and I killed it.
00:34:56Now, it wasn't a big scorpion.
00:34:57They can sting you,
00:34:59and you'll feel like a bee sting,
00:35:00and you'll probably feel like that.
00:35:02But there are scorpions out there
00:35:03that can kill you.
00:35:04They're not around here.
00:35:05They're out in the desert.
00:35:07But they're saying
00:35:08that there's a locust
00:35:10that is coming up
00:35:11out of the ground,
00:35:13out of the bottomless pit,
00:35:14out of hell,
00:35:15and God's allowing them
00:35:16to come out,
00:35:18and they're going to do what?
00:35:20Look at verse 4.
00:35:21And it was commanded to them
00:35:22that they should not hurt
00:35:23the grass or the earth.
00:35:24Now, locusts,
00:35:25what do they do?
00:35:26They eat grass.
00:35:27They eat plants.
00:35:27That was the problem
00:35:28with the locusts.
00:35:29They ate every living plant
00:35:31out there,
00:35:31their crops,
00:35:32and they couldn't grow them.
00:35:34But once they ate them,
00:35:35they died.
00:35:36Well, these locusts,
00:35:37they don't do that.
00:35:38They don't hurt the grass
00:35:39or the earth,
00:35:40neither any green thing.
00:35:41So they're not eating
00:35:42anything living,
00:35:44a plant.
00:35:45What are they there for?
00:35:46But only those men,
00:35:48neither any green thing,
00:35:49neither any tree,
00:35:50but only those men
00:35:51which have not the seal of God
00:35:53in their foreheads,
00:35:55and to them that was given,
00:35:56they should not kill them,
00:35:57but they should be tormented
00:35:58five months.
00:36:00And their torment
00:36:01was at the torment
00:36:02of a scorpion
00:36:03when he striketh a man.
00:36:04And in those days
00:36:05shall men seek death
00:36:06and shall not find it
00:36:08and shall desire death
00:36:09to die
00:36:10and the death
00:36:10shall flee from them.
00:36:13And the shapes
00:36:13of the locusts
00:36:14were likened to horses
00:36:15propelled unto battle
00:36:17and on the heads
00:36:18were as crowns
00:36:19like gold
00:36:19and the faces
00:36:20were as the faces
00:36:20of men
00:36:21and they had hair
00:36:22as the hair of a woman
00:36:23and their teeth
00:36:24were as the teeth
00:36:25of lions
00:36:25and they had breastplates
00:36:27were breastplates
00:36:28of iron
00:36:29and the sound
00:36:29of their wings
00:36:30were as the sound
00:36:30of chariots
00:36:31of many horses
00:36:32running to battle
00:36:33and they had tails
00:36:34like in the scorpions
00:36:35and they were stings
00:36:37in their tails
00:36:38and their power
00:36:38was to hurt men
00:36:39five months
00:36:40and had a king
00:36:41over them
00:36:41which is the angel
00:36:42of the bottomless pit
00:36:44whose name
00:36:45in the Hebrew tongue
00:36:46is Abaddon
00:36:46but in the Greek tongue
00:36:48hath his name
00:36:49Apollyon
00:36:50one woe is past
00:36:52and behold
00:36:53there come two woes
00:36:54more hereafter.
00:36:55So the first thing
00:36:56people like to use
00:36:57is Apollyon
00:36:58and Abaddon
00:36:59or is the devil.
00:37:01Folks it's not true.
00:37:02Why is that?
00:37:03Because we know
00:37:03that Satan
00:37:04does not rule
00:37:05heaven and hell.
00:37:06He doesn't do that.
00:37:07He goes from heaven
00:37:08to earth.
00:37:10Heaven to earth.
00:37:11But at this point in time
00:37:12Satan is inside
00:37:13of a man
00:37:14he is the Antichrist.
00:37:16He's ruling and reigning
00:37:17on the earth
00:37:18ruling for 1260 days.
00:37:21That's the power he gives.
00:37:2242 months
00:37:23at the end time.
00:37:25But guess what?
00:37:26This Abaddon
00:37:27or Apollyon
00:37:28which is in the Greek tongue
00:37:29this is an angel.
00:37:31This is an angel
00:37:31who has the keys
00:37:32to heaven
00:37:33or to hell
00:37:35and he allows
00:37:36these locusts
00:37:36to come straight out of hell
00:37:38and they're not doing anything
00:37:39but stinging men
00:37:41and their sting
00:37:43lasts
00:37:44five months
00:37:46and it says
00:37:46they have a grievous sore.
00:37:47Well what do you see
00:37:48with some of the plagues?
00:37:50Locusts?
00:37:50Well that's what they call them
00:37:51is locusts
00:37:52but they're not locusts
00:37:53to eat plants.
00:37:54But guess what?
00:37:54They have a sore
00:37:55that lasts
00:37:56five months.
00:37:57We see that
00:37:58that is such a bad sore
00:38:00that these people
00:38:01wish they could die
00:38:02but they can't die.
00:38:05The next thing
00:38:06go to Revelation 8.
00:38:07We also saw
00:38:08where Moses
00:38:10one of the plagues
00:38:11that he did
00:38:12on Egypt
00:38:13was hell.
00:38:14Now when hell
00:38:15falls from the sky
00:38:16it destroys plants.
00:38:19It busts up
00:38:20you know
00:38:20it busts up your window
00:38:21it messes up your car.
00:38:23Well if you got crops
00:38:24and stuff out there
00:38:25and hell falls on it
00:38:27it's just like rocks
00:38:28pelting it down
00:38:29it's going to kill
00:38:30those crops
00:38:30it's going to knock
00:38:31them down.
00:38:33Look at Revelation 8.7
00:38:35this is one of the trumpets
00:38:36the first angels
00:38:38sounded there
00:38:38followed hell
00:38:39and fire
00:38:41mingled with blood.
00:38:42Again
00:38:43I've showed you
00:38:44plenty of times
00:38:45that the
00:38:45things that God's
00:38:47doing on the earth
00:38:48is supernatural.
00:38:49You can't mix
00:38:50ice and fire.
00:38:51It won't do it.
00:38:52It'll turn into what?
00:38:53Water.
00:38:54But this is so strange
00:38:55and with blood.
00:38:57So you got
00:38:57hell and fire
00:38:58mingled with blood
00:38:59falling from the sky
00:39:01to the earth
00:39:02and the third part
00:39:03of the trees
00:39:03was burned up
00:39:04because of the fire
00:39:05and all the green
00:39:07grass was burned up.
00:39:08So the first thing
00:39:09you see
00:39:09is the grass
00:39:10is burning.
00:39:12The third part
00:39:12of the trees
00:39:13are burning
00:39:13because of this
00:39:15hail, fire, blood
00:39:18mingled together
00:39:19coming out of the sky.
00:39:21Excuse me.
00:39:24The next thing
00:39:25is that
00:39:25the fourth thing
00:39:27is that
00:39:28Moses and Elijah
00:39:29were both
00:39:30humble men.
00:39:31Keep your finger
00:39:32in Revelation

00:40:21Aaron and his sister
00:40:22Miriam
00:40:24are saying
00:40:24hey you know
00:40:26we're prophets

00:40:28whatever
00:40:29you know
00:40:30God should speak
00:40:31to us the same way
00:40:32and God says
00:40:32no no no
00:40:33I will speak
00:40:34to a prophet
00:40:34in dreams
00:40:35or visions
00:40:36but Moses
00:40:37he's special
00:40:38I'm going to speak
00:40:39to him face to face
00:40:40as you would
00:40:41a friend.
00:40:43I couldn't find it
00:40:44but somewhere
00:40:44in the Bible
00:40:45I remember
00:40:45Elijah was out
00:40:46in the wilderness
00:40:47wearing skins
00:40:48that's pretty humble
00:40:49when you're wearing
00:40:50sackcloth
00:40:51or skins
00:40:52that's a sign
00:40:53of humbleness.
00:40:54The next thing
00:40:55is both
00:40:55Moses and Elijah
00:40:57had mysterious death
00:40:58a mysterious death

00:41:37he didn't have
00:41:37that opportunity

00:41:45the servant of the Lord

00:41:47in the land of Moab
00:41:48according to the word

00:41:57of a sepulcher
00:41:58unto this day

00:42:00120 years old

00:42:08so the Bible's telling us
00:42:09that 120 years old

00:42:11Moses
00:42:12is still
00:42:13in good condition

00:42:16hasn't deteriorated

00:42:17he can't
00:42:18he can still see
00:42:19he can still walk

00:45:30taken up in a tornado

00:45:33on this earth
00:45:33Moses can
00:45:34nobody can say
00:45:35that Moses died
00:45:36they don't know
00:45:37where his body is
00:45:37even the devil

00:52:36and live for
00:52:37a thousand years
00:52:37on this earth
00:52:38with Jesus

00:52:39where he's
00:52:40ruling
00:52:40and reigning
00:52:40there's
00:52:41going to be
00:52:41the satan's
00:52:42going to be
00:52:42loose for a
00:52:43short season
00:52:44and then there's
00:52:45going to be a
00:52:45second resurrection
00:52:46well these
00:52:48people were alive
00:52:49during the first
00:52:50resurrection
00:52:50so it only
00:52:51makes sense
00:52:52that they're
00:52:52resurrected
00:52:53so they have
00:52:54a special
00:52:55resurrection
00:52:55the bible
00:52:56said that it's
00:52:57appointed for
00:52:58men once to
00:52:59die
00:53:00and since these
00:53:01people were
00:53:01saved
00:53:02obviously
00:53:02Elijah
00:53:03they're prophets
00:53:03guess what
00:53:04they have to be
00:53:05resurrected in what
00:53:06the first
00:53:07resurrection
00:53:07and that's when
00:53:08this happens
00:53:09they got a
00:53:10special resurrection
00:53:10they're not
00:53:11resurrected with
00:53:12us because

00:53:13dead yet
