00:44and what Paul's telling them is saying you know follow me as long as I'm following Christ and
00:50that's what we should do people say well I don't follow a man well as long as that man is following
00:55Christ not that he's perfect but he's trying to do things we can emulate people that are following
01:02Christ and we should do that that's not a cult a cult is following one man and doing whatever
01:08here's a good example the Catholic Church what do they do they do exactly what the Pope tells them
01:14the Pope tells them tomorrow to stick their head in the toilet three times and say Hail Mary they're
01:18going to do it because they're following a man nowhere in the Bible does it say anything about
01:21that if it's against the Bible they would do exactly what the Catholic Church does that's your
01:26cult but nobody would admit that a Catholic Church is a cult but that's the definition verse two now

01:44man and the head of Christ is God so again the whole book of Corinthians is Paul is chastising or judging the
01:56church because of things they're not doing right and we're fixing to get into one thing he's talking
02:00about he's saying that he praises them for some of the things but he's telling them that the head of
02:06every man is Christ and the head of the woman is the man and the head of Christ is God so there's a
02:11hierarchy in the Christian religion where you have God then Jesus Christ and then you have the Holy
02:18Spirit but then you have man and woman and that's not popular and it hasn't been popular in probably
02:2330 40 years oh I don't need no man to tell me what to do folks that's biblical straight out the Bible
02:30we're going to see why in a minute every man praying or prophesying his head covered dishonors his head
02:39so that's why we take our hat off when we pray that's what the Bible's teaching is is that if
02:45your head is covered with something you know guess what the Jews what do they have they have that
02:51that shawl or that cat bowl or whatever on the top of their head they're not supposed to you know
02:58the Catholic priest has some kind of big triangle dunce cap looking thing on his head
03:05and the Bible clearly tells us these are violations you shouldn't have you're dishonoring
03:10your head and then it says but every woman that prayeth or prophesies prophesying is is is preaching
03:18the gospel to somebody with her head uncovered dishonors their head for that is even all as if
03:26she were shaving now you had these people these Baptists that would have like a dully on top of
03:32their head you know I knew a lady who had that it's like a little stitch thing and this is what
03:37they get this from that's not what it's talking about folks it's talking about women not having
03:41her head shaving like Sinead O'Connor or something like that that they should have hair for if the
03:48woman be not covered let her also be shorn but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven let
03:55her be covered so the Bible is telling us the difference in man and woman and it's pretty simple you
04:02know the God wants men and women to look different I mean that's that's not a big surprise the devil
04:06wants them to look the same he wants them to look the same when you can't tell so they can go into
04:11the same kind of bathroom they don't care well woman indeed ought not to cover his head for as much he
04:18is the image and the glory of God so the Bible is telling us why should a man not cover his head
04:24why should he not uh put a hat on his head because he is the image and glory of God uh keep your finger
04:31down go to Genesis 1 but the woman is the glory of the man go to Genesis 1
04:38sorry to be teaching you what the word of God says but that's just the way it is
04:50God created man first
04:53Genesis 1 26 for God said let us make man in our image after our likeness and let them have dominion
05:06over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air over the cattle over all the earth and over
05:12every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth so God created man in his own image and the image of
05:19God created he him male and female created he them uh go down to Genesis 2
05:25Genesis 2 starting in verse 18
05:30and the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to dress it and keep it
05:38and the Lord God commanded the man saying of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat
05:43but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil thou shalt not eat of it for in the day that thou
05:47is there thou shalt surely die and the Lord God said it is not good that the man should be alone
05:52I will make him and help me for him and out of the ground
05:57the Lord God formed every beast of the field
06:00and every fowl of the air and brought them unto Adam to see
06:04well what he would call them and whatsoever Adam called every living creature that was a name thereof
06:11and Adam gave names all cattle and the fowl of the air and every beast of the field
06:16but for Adam there was not found and helped me for him
06:19and the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam
06:23and he slept and he took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh instead thereof
06:28and the rib which the Lord God had taken from man
06:31made he a woman and brought her unto the man
06:35and Adam said this is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh
06:39he shall be called woman because she was taken out of man
06:42so the word woman means out of man
06:45and what the Bible is teaching us here
06:48is not that
06:49you know I get tired of people saying
06:51oh you're doing new that men are better than women
06:53no they have a different job
06:54I'm telling you the same thing as a hammer and a screwdriver
06:57one's not better than the other
06:59they just have different jobs
07:00you can use a screwdriver you can pry a nail out
07:03it's going to be hard
07:04or you can take a hammer and you can try to pry out a screw
07:07but it would be better for you to use that tool for that job
07:11what God is trying to show us is that
07:13he wants men and women to be different
07:15and this is why a woman when she marries a man
07:19she takes his last name
07:21no hyphen
07:22that's that's that feminist movement
07:24oh I gotta keep a hyphen in my name
07:27no you should take that man's last name
07:29because now you're part of that man's family
07:32and that's just like the picture
07:34that the woman was taken out of the man

08:43but he's trying to tell

08:50there's a hierarchy
08:51for as a woman is of the man

08:59by the woman

10:34that woman has a beard
10:36and it was a long haired man

10:38that's what it's saying
10:39is that nature teaches you
10:41that a man's supposed to have short hair
10:43so this little kid
10:44that's 4 years old
10:45is thinking that this lady
10:47because she has long hair
10:48but it's a man
10:49has a beard
10:50and women are not supposed to have beards
10:52so that's what she's saying
10:53that's what it's saying
10:54is that nature teaches us
10:56and you can say

10:58I was in a barber shop the other day

11:01he had very long hair
11:02it was down
11:03close to his butt crack
11:05and he's in
11:06my brother-in-law's barber chair
11:07and he's getting it cut off

11:18have you ever read 1 Corinthians 11
11:20or have you gotten up and prayed
11:22at any time to God
11:23because what the Bible's telling us here
11:26is that

11:28God is a shame
11:29when a man has a head on his head
11:32or he's got long hair
11:33and he gets up and prays
11:35God's a shame of that
11:36that's why Jesus did not have long hair
11:39because he would be a sinner
11:40and that would make him a sinner
11:42and we couldn't be
11:43we couldn't have our sins washed away
11:45you know all these pictures you see
11:47of Jesus wearing a dress
11:48and wearing this long stuff
11:51and having long hair
11:52it's just made by a bunch of Roman sodomites
11:55that made it up in the 500 BC
11:57or the 500 AD
11:58after Jesus was there
11:59nobody has a picture of Jesus
12:01they don't know what he looks like
12:02but I can doggone bet you this
12:04he don't have long hair
12:06because he'd be ashamed
12:07when he's in the garden against him

12:09he's ashamed when he's praying to God

12:22if somebody is calling you a woman

12:50and we shouldn't see

12:52to get to being ashamed of God

12:54we should separate ourselves

12:57hey that lady
12:58she's a clean cut person
12:59because of the way they look
13:00and that's what we need to understand
13:02but if any man
13:03seem to be contentious
13:04what is it saying
13:05we have no such custom

13:07there's no law
13:08in God's law
13:09that says that
13:10he said if you want to be contentious
13:12what is contentious
13:12contentious means causing
13:14or involving
13:15or characterized
13:16by an argument
13:17he's saying
13:18if anybody wants to argue about it
13:19just leave him alone
13:20because there's no law
13:21in the Bible
13:22that says you've got to have
13:23short hair
13:24but the Bible says
13:25you're ashamed
13:26if you don't
13:27if you're a man
13:28so anybody

13:30seeing a guy

13:32at some kind of youth thing
13:34and he had a hat on

13:35I was thinking
13:35God didn't hear that prayer

13:48so now he's really hitting them

13:59divisions among you

14:07and there were divisions

14:09so he's already bringing that up

14:17heresies among you
14:19that they which are approved
14:21may be made manifest
14:23among you
14:24when you come together
14:26therefore in one place
14:27this is not to eat
14:28the Lord's supper
14:29for in eating
14:30every one
14:32taketh before others
14:34his own supper
14:35and one is hungry
14:36and another is drunken
14:37so what he's saying
14:39is that apparently
14:40there's two things
14:41one of two things

14:44they had a potluck

15:05to just come in

15:07and just start eating

16:32with salvation
16:33it's a symbolism

16:35it's a symbolism

16:37Jesus' body
16:38was broken
16:39when he was on the cross
16:40he was broken

16:45his body was broken
16:47he didn't have any
16:48broken bones
16:49but his body was broken
16:50and then what happened
16:52when his body was broken
16:53blood came out

17:26give us a sign

17:32our fathers did eat
17:33manna in the desert
17:34as it is written
17:35he gave them bread
17:36for heaven to eat
17:37so he's saying
17:38look our fathers

17:39that was in the desert
17:41God gave them a sign
17:43by giving them bread to eat
17:44why don't you bring us bread

17:51not that bread from heaven

20:28so he's telling them
20:30that Moses
20:31gave them physical bread
20:33but my father
20:34gave them spiritual bread
20:35I am the living bread
20:37which came down
20:39from heaven
20:39if any man
20:41eat of this bread
20:42he shall live forever
20:43and the bread
20:44that I will give
20:45is my flesh
20:46and I will give
20:47for the life of the world
20:48so now he's telling us
20:49the bread
20:50is like his flesh
20:51his flesh was broken
20:52it was broken
20:53when they whipped him
20:54with the cat of nine tails
20:55it was broken
20:55when they stabbed him
20:56with a spear
20:57it was broken
20:57when they stuck nails
20:58in his hands
20:59and his feet
20:59the Jews therefore
21:01strove among themselves
21:02saying how can this man
21:04give us his flesh to eat
21:05so now they're dumb
21:06and they're trying to say
21:07well how can he give us our flesh
21:08he can't
21:09you know they're thinking
21:09of the physical
21:10not the spiritual
21:11then Jesus said to them

21:14except ye eat the flesh
21:16of the son of man
21:17and drink his blood
21:18ye have no life in you
21:20and so he eateth my flesh
21:23and drinketh my blood
21:24hath eternal life
21:25and I will raise him up
21:27at the last day
21:27for my flesh is meat indeed
21:29and my blood is drink indeed
21:30he that eateth my flesh
21:32and drinketh my blood
21:33dwelleth in me

21:36now I want you to just
21:37stop for a minute

21:39at that real carefully
21:40so is there anywhere
21:43in the bible
21:43that is talking about
21:44eating people's flesh
21:45no
21:46does it talk about
21:47eating drinking blood
21:49no
21:50in fact I can show you
21:51scripture where it says
21:51not to drink of the blood
21:53but the catholic people
21:54they take this to another level
21:56and when they take
21:58of the communion
21:59or whatever they talk
22:00about when they take
22:01the cracker
22:01and they poke it
22:02in their mouth
22:03or whatever
22:03they literally think
22:05that that cracker
22:05is turning into
22:06the flesh of Jesus
22:08and that the juice
22:10that they drink
22:10is turning into
22:11Jesus' blood
22:12folks that's just crazy
22:14but what Jesus is saying
22:16we know that salvation
22:17is what
22:17believing on Jesus
22:19period
22:19does it matter
22:21if you've never
22:21been baptized
22:22no it does not matter
22:23does it matter
22:24if you've never
22:25had the Lord's Supper
22:27no it does not matter
22:28and that's what people
22:29get mixed up about this
22:31so you got
22:32that's how you compare
22:32the Bible
22:33you know that clear
22:34scriptures about salvation
22:36for God so loved
22:37the world
22:38that he gave
22:39his only begotten son
22:40that whosoever
22:40believeth on him
22:41should not perish
22:42but have everlasting life
22:43clear crystal clear
22:45so when you read
22:46stuff like this
22:47you got to understand
22:48who's the audience
22:49the Jews

22:51you got to understand
22:52when Jesus is talking
22:53to non-believers
22:54he's talking in dark
22:56sayings
22:56in parables
22:57when he's talking
22:58to his disciples

23:02to these Jews
23:02and they don't understand
23:03so we got to understand
23:05that what he's saying
23:06is not clear

23:08that we don't go out there
23:09and try to find
23:10Jesus' flesh

23:13don't make any sense

23:15except you eat the flesh
23:16of the son of man
23:17and drink his blood
23:18you have no life in you
23:19does that mean
23:20that if we don't do
23:20the Lord's Supper
23:21we're never going to
23:22have life in us
23:22that's not what that means
23:23what it's talking about
23:25for you to have
23:26the Lord's Supper
23:27what do you have to do
23:28you have to be saved
