00:07But what's most important at Preysal is the development of the players,
00:10speaking of which, a new member of the side is Sachin Sicharan.
00:14Everybody knows it's a young bunch of guys here,
00:17so playing Premier 1 level where you're playing amongst the best
00:20is basically for us to showcase ourselves, develop,
00:23go from one stage to the next and just improving
00:26in terms of being able to compete with these guys
00:29that have been playing the highest level of cricket.
00:31Even though Preysal were unable to reach far in the TTCB T20 Festival recently,
00:35Sicharan was in good form during the tournament.
00:38Looking at the club, it has a rich cricketing history,
00:41which means a lot to the people of Preysal.
00:43As such, the players hope to give it their all for the club in the remaining games.
00:47As we know, Preysal is all about cricket.
00:50The villagers, once we play at home, they always come out,
00:53they're always seeing people around from under the mango trees,
00:57so I think they support us a lot, they want to see us do well,
01:01and I'm sure this weekend they'll be outing their numbers again,
01:04supporting us against Queen's Park.
01:05Former TNT cricketer Darren Crookshank is one of the coaches
01:08who recently started working with Preysal.
01:11Also coaching the side is none other than former national pacer Eugene Antwine.
01:15This is where I was born and bred.
01:17All of my life, Preysal, this is where I am from.
01:21Looking back at all the people who have been through the club,
01:25trying to uphold that legacy for them,
01:29through these guys hopefully, it's a good feeling.
01:32The guys who have come on board, we have been having a good relationship.
01:38So far, things are pretty decent with us here.
