The CPL gets started in St Lucia on Wednesday.

And the Trinbago Knight Riders will play their first match on Saturday.

On Tuesday we met with some fans in St. James who seemed ready for the biggest party in sport.

00:36 And I want to see competitive cricket. So which team are you supporting for this year's CPL?
00:40 I mean Trinidad and Tobago or the Knight Riders because Babu will come back. The champion.
00:50 Who are your favorite players in the CPL? Pollard. That's it? And Akiro Sen.
00:56 Very good players. And what about Sunil Narayan?
01:04 I think Sunil Narayan is the best player and I ever seen. Best bowler I ever seen.
01:09 I've seen great bowlers, bowler in my life and Sunil Narayan is one of the best I ever seen.
01:15 And I hope that he continues to be the bowler he will always be.
01:20 Would you be attending the matches in Trinidad and Tobago?
01:22 Yes, yes, yes. I'll be attending the ones in Port of Spain by the Oval.
01:26 That's the ones I'll be attending. As you know Bravo is back. So we expect to take back our championship.
01:32 We expect to take it back. I think when we take it back this year that'll be five years.
01:36 We have it for four. Jamaica have it for three. And we will end up having it for five.
01:42 So that's what I expect.
01:45 What do you enjoy most about the Oval during CPL?
01:48 Well, I enjoy the camaraderie, the family, everybody having a good time.
01:52 Even though, well, I'm not too sure if you could bring food and all that again.
01:56 So I don't know if that might dampen it. But at the end of the day the show goes on.

02:12 Yes. I wish I could sell Chandler. I need Chandler.

02:21 Who? Some of them are Knight Riders. I know. I know Naren.
