West Indies cricketer Evin Lewis was named best Premiership One batsman as the TTCB at last week's awards function.

00:00Last Friday evening, individual awards were presented to cricketers for their performances during the 2025 TTCB domestic season with a function taking place at the National Cycling Valley Room in Coover.
00:12Making the opening remarks at the function was Henry Chase, who is the chairman of the Premier League Committee of the TTCB.
00:18We are gathered here to acknowledge not only the skills shown in the field, but also the sacrifices made of it.
00:26The hours of training, the teamwork, the resilience and the sportsmanship that inspire future generations.
00:41TTCB President Azambassworth was also there and he addressed the gathering.
00:46He spoke about the importance of cricket and how it shaped the lives of many.
00:50At the TTCB, our mandate extends beyond competition.
00:55We are committed to fostering cricket as a vehicle for national youth development.
01:02Every boy and every girl, regardless of background, deserves the opportunity to step onto a level playing field and pursue their potential.
01:13Justin Joseph copped the best batsman and bowler awards in Premier 2 North with 923 runs and 48 wickets.
01:21The best batsman in Premier 2 South was Silas Cooper with 732 runs.
01:26Rakesh Maharaj with 61 wickets was the best bowler in Premier 2 South.
01:30And in Premiership 1, the best batsman with 952 runs was Evan Lewis, who was unavailable.
01:36And the best bowler award in Premiership 1 went to Kastri Singh with 49 scalps.
01:41Then with no wine eat, heaps export.
