Well home is where the heart is and for the T&T Red Force, that location is now the National Cricket Center in Couva. An unveiling ceremony took place at the venue, to acknowledge the achievements of national cricketers past and present who helped to build the team into the force they are today.

00:05The unveiling of a collage on the exterior of the building facing the highway took place today.
00:10It features past and present players that helped establish the team.
00:14President of the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board, Azim Basarad, says,
00:18it represents continued development of cricket in Trinidad and Tobago.
00:21Today, we proudly declare this space as the home of the Red Force.
00:28The Red Force, ladies and gentlemen, represents more than just a team.
00:34It represents a proud and endearing legacy.
00:38Trinidad and Tobago has long been a dominant force in regional cricket.
00:44He added it makes players feel a sense of belonging and pride as they develop a culture of success.
00:49This wall stands as a powerful reminder of that commitment.
00:54A reminder that here, at this very facility, talent is noted, excellence is pursued, and champions are named.
01:05I would also like to acknowledge the contributions of our past and present Red Force players,
01:11whose dedication and performances have shaped this legacy.
01:16Captain of the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Team, Joshua Da Silva, felt the official announcement has come in the right
01:22time.
01:23As players, we understand what it means to represent you in Tobago.
01:26Every time we step onto the field, we're carrying more than just ourselves.
01:29We're carrying our country, our families, and everyone who supports us.
01:34This team has a strong history, and we are very aware of that.
01:38But at the same time, we're focused on what we are building now.
01:41He also indicated that they are ready for the regional four-day tournament.
01:45Meantime, fast bowler Jaden Seals expressed his happiness about the establishment of the facility.
01:51Coach of the team, Riyad Emrit, encouraged his team to remain focused on the objectives.
01:57And for me personally, having the privilege of being part of the first Trinidad and Tobago team
02:03to represent under the Red Force name, it is especially meaning to see how that identity has grown
02:09and continues to evolve every day.
02:12To our current group, I want to encourage you to remain focused on the process,
02:17continue to commit to the work, and continue to support each other,
02:21and continue to uphold the standards that are expected at this level.
