00:00All right, now let's go to another team in the NL West real quick where I think the major

00:05move of course was adding Willie Adamas to the San Francisco Giants lineup, but really

00:10the bigger move I think, Matt, I don't know if you agree or not, was changing up the front

00:13office where Buster Posey is now running the Giants.

00:17And so they did make some moves, but they've had a really hard time acquiring talent through

00:22free agency.

00:23It just seems like a lot of players don't want to sign with them.

00:25The strength of the team will be their rotation where they added Justin Verlander as we would

00:30probably call him their third starter, maybe their fourth.

00:33Logan Webb is great.

00:34Robbie Ray, when healthy is great.

00:36Hicks had a really good start to last season and Kyle Harrison once upon a time was thought

00:39to be an ace.

00:40He'll slot in as their fifth starter, but you know, certainly just hard to generate

00:45offense in that park.

00:47And I wonder if Buster Posey changing the way that they view players and doing things

00:51make this a better team or worse.

00:54I guess we'll find out.

00:55Yeah, that's just it.

00:57It's a transition year.

00:58And like you said, the pitching is there and anytime a team has pitching, that's going

01:01to keep them in every game.

01:03Then you need to generate just enough offense and you can have one of those runs.

01:07You can have a really good year with that kind of formula.

01:11Is this team that team?

01:12I don't know.

01:13It's tough to look at them in the division they're in and feel overly confident about

01:17them.

01:18But this is a bit of a transition year, like you said, and I think it'll be interesting

01:21to watch from afar.

01:22I don't think a wild card is out of the question by any means, but definitely not a team that

01:26I'm over the top excited about for a pennant or anything beyond that.
