00:00I need your brutal honesty here when you look at this Mets team are they even built for October
00:05right now or are there just too many holes that they could get exposed when push comes to shove
00:11great question you know if you're asking for my honest opinion I think that there are aspects to
00:16them that aren't built for October and it just headlined by the main thing we've been concerned
00:20about all the past three months and that's the rotation you know knowing that you're going into
00:24potential playoff play relying on rookie right-handers and old McLean Ren and Sprott etc
00:29to basically be your saving graces because of how bad your veterans have been that is exactly what
00:35likely get exposed first come the Mets get into wild card against say those daughters now the reason
00:41why I'm still optimistic at the same time though is because while they have those holes they also
00:46have a lot of things are now starting to go right with their lineup and the Mets have one of the best
00:49laps in baseball when healthy and doing their thing so is it going to be one of those scenarios where
00:54the pitching is in there but the offense breaks out and secures big wins we'll have to wait and see
00:59but to simply answer your question do I think they're built for October I think they're built
01:03for October in a way that many teams are in the sense that every team has flaws every team has
01:08holes this time of year it's just a matter of who's going to be better and actually one upping the
01:12other by overcoming said adversity so we'll just have to wait and see
