Chairman of the Tobago arm of the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce Curtis Williams says he expects transparency and integrity in law enforcement, regarding the appointment of Junior Benjamin as Acting Commissioner of Police. Mr. Williams spoke with TV6'S Elizabeth Williams. Here is that report

00:00The chamber have worked closely with Mr. Benjamin in the past in Tobago and we can
00:05attest to his professionalism, integrity and unwavering commitment to
00:09transparency in law enforcement. Mr. Williams told TV6 News he expects
00:14fairness and obedience to the law. Throughout his career he have
00:19demonstrated strong leadership and a balanced approach to policing, making decisions
00:23based on fairness and adherence to the rule of law. Williams said he remains
00:28confident the Acting Police Commissioner Junior Benjamin would operate at a high
00:33standard and with accountability. The Tobago Division is confident that under the
00:38Acting Commissioner Police Junior Benjamin's leadership the Trinidad and
00:43Tobago Police Service will continue to uphold a high standard of service and
00:47accountability. We look forward to working with him to ensure the safety
00:52and security of the citizens of Trinidad and Tobago.
