To the slam bang version of the game...

After being sidelined due to injury, batsman Johnson Charles is back with the West Indies for the upcoming T20 series against Bangladesh.

Keacy Carty is also in the mix, earning his first T20 International call-up after an impressive 2024 CPL.

00:00The West Indies will play Bangladesh in three T20 internationals on December 15th, 17th
00:06and 19th with all matches in St. Vincent.
00:08St. Lucian batsman Johnson Charles, who missed the past two series due to injury, is once
00:14again in the side.
00:16Being called up for the first time for this format is Casey Carty, who scored 246 runs
00:21at this year's CPL, which included one half century.
00:25The team will be captained by Ravman Powell, with Brandon King as vice-captain.
00:30The other members in the squad are as follows – Casey Carty, Johnson Charles, Roston Chase,
00:37Justin Graves, Terence Hines, Akhil Hossain, Alzari Joseph, Evan Lewis, Obed McCoy, Gudakesh
00:44Moti, Nicholas Puran, Romario Shepard and Shamar Springer.
00:49Just a point of note, after the first two games, left arm spinner Hossain is out as
00:55he will be involved in the Big Bash League, replacing him for the final match's pacer
00:59Jaden Seals.
01:00Shea Hope and Sheafane Rutherford will not be available for the entire series as they
01:05too are part of the Big Bash Down Under.
01:08Since the focus is on preparations for the 2026 T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka,
01:14coach Darren Sammy says that is the reason for picking this squad.

01:24this is our most settled squad with the experience needed to win championships.
