Looking to wrap up the series, Pakistan chose to bat against the West Indies in the second
00:04
T20 international in Fort Lauderdale.
00:07
When Jason Holder took the first two scalps, he became the highest wicket-taker amongst
00:10
West Indians in the averaged format, overtaking Dwayne Bravo.
00:14
Pakistan were in further trouble at 21-3, with Holder taking the catch to give Akhil Hossein
00:19
the scalp.
00:21
Captain Salman Agha then chipped in with 38 of 33 balls.
00:27
But Hassan Nawaz was the top scorer with a swashbuckling fourth year of 23 deliveries.
00:33
Gurukesh Moti was expensive, but took a couple wickets in his final over to end with 2-39.
00:39
Holder was the best of the lot with impeccable figures of 4-19.
00:46
Shamar Joseph was also frugal, taking 1-22 as Pakistan closed on 133-9 from 20 overs.
00:54
In their run chase, West Indies lost openers Alec Athanese and Jewel Andrew Cheepley, with
00:59
Mohamed Nawaz taking both wickets.
01:02
Then Saim Ayoub flummoxed Sheafane Rutherford and it was 41-3.
01:07
Captain Shehope crawled to 21 of 30 balls before giving Nawaz his third wicket.
01:13
Half the side was gone with 70 on the board.
01:16
Moti top scored with a crucial 28, including two sixes.
01:28
Soon there was more drama at 98 for 7.
01:31
With 36 required of 3 overs, a lot depended on Holder and Romario Sheppard.
01:35
But with 7 to get from 5, Sheppard was dismissed by Shahin Shah Afridi for 15.
01:44
Then with 3 needed of the last ball and with everyone on tenterhooks, Holder hit a 4 to
01:49
end on 16 not out and he was cock-a-hoop.
01:52
West Indies made 135-8 to level the series and set up a decider on Sunday night.
01:57
We don't know any Chiefs export.
